You get a mobile app shaped around what your customers or staff need to do, with screens for iOS and Android, accounts and data behind them, and store listings prepared for release. If you manage a business in Oklahoma, we start by understanding the people who will use it. At MSH Technologies, an India-based studio, the same team handles design, development and launch with you.

Choosing
Should you choose cross-platform, native or a web app?
React Native is a practical choice for an app built around accounts, forms, bookings, payments or content. We use one shared codebase for iOS and Android, adding native modules where needed. We also go native when deep device features call for it. Native development fits heavy graphics, complex background work or new platform features at launch, but it leaves you with separate codebases to build and maintain.
Flutter is another cross-platform option. It uses Dart and draws its own interface, which suits a heavily branded design that should look identical on both platforms. Your team would need to be comfortable working in Dart. A progressive web app is worth considering for a staff tool: it skips store review, though it needs packaging to appear in app stores. On an iPhone, it can ask to send notifications only after someone adds it to the Home Screen. Choose based on the features and maintenance your product needs.
Local
What Oklahoma organisations need from an app
Oklahoma produces oil, natural gas and agricultural products. If your team works in the field, an app might need job forms, photos, signatures and locations that reach the office when signal returns. Decide how much offline work is needed: showing the last loaded information is a smaller task than allowing edits offline and resolving conflicts when records sync.
The state's sectors also include aviation, food processing and telecommunications. If your organisation already has a web platform that customers use frequently, an app can share its accounts and data. We build one backend for the app, website and admin tools, giving your staff one place to work with that information.
Rules
What a US app project has to handle
For state and local government apps, the accessibility requirement affects the screens and flows from design onwards. We set up the app design against WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard specified for those organisations' mobile apps.
Checkout needs a decision before it is built. We set up in-app purchases and subscriptions for digital content or features, while physical goods and services need another payment route. US businesses can sign up to accept payments with Stripe; the payment route must fit what you sell.
How it runs
How an app project runs with us
We work remotely through video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. India is ahead of the mainland US, with the difference changing for daylight saving time. The shared board keeps decisions and feedback visible across that difference, so you do not have to hold every discussion on a call.

Discover
We learn about your business, audience and goals, then agree the scope with you. Bring the outcome you want users to achieve.
- 02
Design
We design and refine the iOS and Android screens with your feedback before writing code. You can review the flows and tell us where they need to change.
- 03
Review
Put the clickable prototype in front of customers or staff. Their feedback gives us a chance to change screens before they are built.
- 04
Test
We send builds to your phone through TestFlight or Google Play testing tracks. Use the app and share what you notice.
- 05
Release
We handle the store listings, submission and review under your developer accounts. You retain access to those accounts.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
A short set of notes gives the discussion a useful start.
- List the actions users need in the first release, in the order they will take them.
- Name the website, booking, CRM or payment systems the app must connect to; note their APIs and admin access.
- Register developer accounts in your company's name and check the D-U-N-S requirement for organisation accounts.
- If you use a new personal Google Play account, prepare for its required closed test before production.
- Keep access to your developer accounts available for store submission and review.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and work involved
The scope determines how much design, build and testing work the app needs.
User roles
Customers, drivers and staff each need their own screens and permissions, even with a shared backend.
Integrations
A payment gateway, booking system or scanner adds setup, testing and work to handle failures.
Screen design
Custom animation, extra languages and tablet layouts add design and testing across screens.
User content
Posts or other user-generated material need reporting, blocking and filtering tools.
Existing systems
A backend with a documented API reduces the work compared with building a backend and admin panel from scratch.
Avoid
Mistakes to avoid with app development
Wrapping a website in an app shell
Give people useful app features. A repackaged site risks store rejection and gives them little reason to install it.
Leaving access with an agency
Keep developer accounts, signing access and code repositories in your business's name so the app is easier to move.
Forgetting account deletion
If people can create an account, include an in-app deletion path. Google Play also requires a web link for deletion requests and deletion of associated data.
Questions
Asked by businesses in Oklahoma
Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does it cost to develop an app?
There is no fixed price for an app project. The work is shaped by the app screens, the backend for accounts and data, and the admin tools your staff need. Notification rules and user settings add work too. Agree the scope first, then ask for a quote.
Which company should I choose for app development?
Choose a team that can explain how it will handle the details of your app. For example, ask how it records data collected by analytics or advertising tools. Google Play's Data safety form needs to cover information collected by third-party SDKs, so that work should be included in the release plan.
Can you add push notifications?
Yes. We build targeted push notifications for your app. Ask for permission when the benefit is clear to the user, such as after an order, instead of immediately at launch. On Android 13 and later, notifications remain off until the user allows them.
Who owns the app code?
You own your code, content and domain, with no lock-in. That gives your business control over those assets after the app is built. When reviewing a proposal, check that ownership is clear and that you will have access to the code you are paying to develop.
What happens after the app launches?
We provide ongoing support for bug fixes, operating-system updates and new features. Plan regular maintenance releases: Google Play requires apps and updates to target a recent Android API level. Some JavaScript and content fixes can go out over the air, while native code changes still need a store release.
Can the app use the same backend as my website?
Yes. We build a backend that serves your app, website and admin tools. That lets those products work with the same accounts and data. Tell us which website systems you already use and what your staff need to do with customer information when we discuss the scope.
