What you get

What’s included in mobile app development

  • App design

Screens and flows designed for iOS and Android conventions.

  • Cross-platform build

One React Native codebase for both platforms, with native modules where needed.

  • Backend & APIs

Accounts, data, notifications and admin tools behind the app.

  • Push notifications

Timely, targeted notifications that bring people back.

  • Payments & subscriptions

In-app purchases and subscriptions on both stores.

  • Store launch

App Store and Google Play listings, submission and release.

Tools we use: React Native, Expo, Swift, Kotlin, Firebase, Node.js.

Choosing

Should you build cross-platform, native or a web app?

React Native suits apps built around accounts, bookings, payments, lists and content. It shares most of the code between iOS and Android while rendering each platform’s own interface components. It is written in JavaScript or TypeScript, and some logic can also be shared with a React web app. That gives you a common codebase to maintain across the phone platforms.

Native development is a fit when your app needs deep device features, heavy graphics, complex background work or new platform features at launch. The trade-off is separate Swift and Kotlin codebases to build and maintain. That affects the work needed when you change features on both platforms.

A progressive web app is another option for a staff tool. It skips store review, though it does not appear in the stores unless packaged for them; on iPhone, notification permission is available only after it is added to the Home Screen. We use React Native for most apps and go native when deep device features call for it.

What Koramangala businesses need from an app

Startups in the commercial centre may be launching a consumer app or a marketplace. A shared codebase gives them coverage on both stores, while analytics show whether people return after installing. Decide which customer task the first release needs to support, so that the app has a clear use from the outset.

For shops serving repeat customers in an area known for high-end shopping, reordering and loyalty features can give customers a reason to come back. A fast checkout, saved payment details and notifications sent at the right time support those tasks. Your own customers’ buying habits should guide which of those features goes into the app.

Rules

What an app project in India has to handle

For a checkout using an online payment aggregator, the provider must have the required RBI authorisation. Razorpay and Cashfree Payments have received final authorisation. We set up the app’s payment and subscription flows and agree the provider for the checkout. The purchase itself also affects the design: digital content and subscriptions generally use store billing, while physical goods and services need another payment route.

How it runs

How an app project runs with us

We work remotely from India, using video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. You can discuss the work and review it without needing to meet in person.

  1. 01

    Discover

We learn about your business, audience and goals, then agree the scope with you. Bring the main task you want customers or staff to complete.

  2. 02

    Design

We create screen designs and refine them with your feedback before coding. Put the clickable prototype in front of customers or staff; changing a screen at this stage costs far less than changing it after build.

  3. 03

    Test

You receive development builds on your own phone through TestFlight or Google Play testing tracks. Use the app as a customer or member of staff would and share what gets in the way.

  4. 04

    Submit

We handle the store listings, submission and review under your own developer accounts. You retain control of those accounts throughout the release.

  5. 05

    Prepare for review

If the app has a login, provide a working demo account and make sure the backend is live. Leave room in your launch plans for a fix and resubmission if review uncovers a problem.

Checklist

What to have ready before we talk

Bring what you already have, including:

  • The tasks users must complete in the first release, in the order they would do them.
  • Your website, CRM, booking, ERP and payment systems, with their API and admin-access details.
  • A privacy policy that matches the data the app collects; Apple requires a link in the app and its store listing.
  • Your Google Play account type, so you can plan for closed testing if it is a new personal account.
  • Your account deletion requirementsApple requires an in-app way to start deletion if users can create accounts.
  • A web deletion request link for Google Play, alongside the in-app path to delete the account and associated data.

Cost & time

What affects the cost and timeline of app development

The scope determines the work, including what already exists and what your users need to do.

  • Existing backend

A documented API reduces work; a new backend and admin panel can be as large a task as the app.

  • User roles

Customers, drivers and staff each need their own screens and permissions, even with a shared backend.

  • Live features

Tracking, chat and presence need persistent connections and more backend work than screens that request data when opened.

  • Interface and languages

Custom animation, additional languages, right-to-left scripts and tablet layouts add design and testing across screens.

  • User content

Posts and other contributions need filtering, reporting and blocking tools, plus published contact details.

Questions

Asked by businesses in Koramangala

Page updated 5 November 2026

How much does it cost to develop an app?

There is no fixed price. Offline editing and later syncing need more work than showing previously loaded data, particularly when conflicting edits must be handled. Notifications also need a sending service, targeting rules and user settings. Once we agree the scope, ask us for a free quote.

How do I choose an app development company?

Check who owns the code and how the proposed app gives people a reason to use it. You own your domain, content and code with us, without lock-in. Apple also expects more than a website wrapped in an app shell, so ask how the proposed screens make use of the app format.

Can the app use the same accounts and data as my website?

Yes. We build a shared backend for your app, website and admin tools. If customers already use your web platform frequently, an app can reuse their accounts and data. Discuss the existing platform early so the app’s customer experience fits the systems you already operate.

What should go into the first release?

Include analytics and crash reporting alongside the main customer task. Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics or Sentry can show which screens people use, where they leave and which devices crash. Ask for notification permission when its benefit is clear, such as after an order, instead of at first launch.

What happens after the app launches?

We provide ongoing support for bug fixes, operating-system updates and new features. Review retention and drop-off in the main task alongside the crash-free rate. Some JavaScript and content fixes can be sent over the air, while native code changes and new permissions still need a store release.
