Choosing
Should you choose cross-platform, native or a web app?
We usually build with React Native. It shares a codebase across iOS and Android, while native modules handle features that need them. This is a useful starting point when you want an app on both platforms without maintaining a separate full app for each.
Native development fits apps that need deep device features, heavy graphics, complex background work or new platform features as they launch. You maintain separate iPhone and Android codebases, so there is more to build and maintain. Flutter is another option for a heavily branded interface: it draws its own screens, but your team needs to be comfortable working in Dart.
A progressive web app can suit a staff tool and skips store review. It needs packaging to appear in app stores, and on iPhone it can ask to send notifications only after someone adds it to their Home Screen. We help you choose by looking at the device features, interface and distribution your app needs.
Local
What Electronic City businesses need from an app
Electronic City is an IT hub, and an IT business with staff working on delivery, maintenance or inspection jobs may need more than a phone-friendly form. An app can collect job details, photos, signatures and locations offline, then sync them to the office when a connection returns.
The IT and ITES campuses here include businesses whose customers already use web platforms. When customers use a service frequently, an app can give them access to the same accounts and data without requiring a separate backend. That gives you a practical way to extend an existing service while keeping customer records in one place.
Rules
What an app project in India needs to handle
Your checkout needs to match what you sell. UPI supports person-to-merchant payments in India, so we can set up a UPI payment gateway for physical goods or services. Digital content and subscriptions used inside an app follow different store billing rules: we set up in-app purchases and subscriptions for the stores, while checking which outside payment options are available for the relevant storefront.
How it runs
How an app project runs with us
We are a web, app and AI studio in India. You work with us remotely over video calls, WhatsApp and a shared project board, so your feedback and decisions have a place throughout the work.
- 01
Scope and design
We learn about your business, audience and goals, agree the scope with you, and refine screen designs with your feedback before coding starts.
- 02
Prototype
Put the clickable design in front of a few customers or staff. Their feedback helps you change screens before they are built, when changes cost less.
- 03
Test builds
Use the app on your own phone during development. We share builds through TestFlight or the Google Play testing tracks, so you can give feedback from real use.
- 04
Submission
If your app has a login, prepare a working demo account and a live backend for Apple. Leave room to fix and resubmit anything that fails review.
- 05
Release
We handle the store listings, submission and review under your own developer accounts.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
A little preparation gives us something concrete to discuss.
- List what users must do in the first release, in the order they would do it.
- Start registering Apple and Google developer accounts in your company’s name; organisation accounts need a D-U-N-S number.
- Note the systems the app must connect to, their APIs and who holds admin access.
- Have a privacy policy that reflects what the app collects, for the listing and the app.
- List analytics or advertising SDKs you plan to use for the Google Play Data safety form.
- If users will create accounts, plan how they will start deleting them inside the app.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timeline of app development
The scope determines how much design, build and testing work is needed.
User types
Customers, drivers and staff each need their own screens and permissions, even when they share a backend.
Existing systems
A backend with a documented API reduces work; a new backend and admin panel add a substantial build.
Screen design
Custom animation, additional languages and tablet layouts add design and testing across screens.
User content
Posts or other user-generated content need filtering, reporting, blocking and published contact details.
Questions
Asked by businesses in Electronic City
Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does it cost to develop an app?
There is no fixed price. The work changes with the integrations you need and the level of offline use. A booking system or payment gateway needs setup, testing and failure handling; allowing people to edit records offline also needs syncing and conflict handling when they reconnect.
How should I choose an app development company?
Choose a team that discusses what people will do in the app and how they will get started. Ask how the proposed app offers more than a wrapped website, and whether people need an account before seeing useful content. Those decisions affect both the experience and Apple’s review.
What is included in app development?
We build the backend and APIs for accounts, data, notifications and admin tools, alongside the app. For push notifications, we set up a sending service, rules for recipients and timing, and settings for notification categories. The first release also needs analytics and crash reporting to show screen use and device problems.
Who owns the app and store accounts?
You own your code, content and domain, with no lock-in. Keep the developer accounts, signing access and code repository in your business’s name too. Accounts held by an agency or freelancer can make the app difficult to move if you decide to change who maintains it.
What happens after the app launches?
Launch is followed by ongoing support for fixes, platform updates and new features. Plan maintenance releases for Android requirements as well. Some JavaScript and content fixes can go out over the air, but native code changes, new permissions and Expo SDK upgrades still need a store release.
