Choosing
Should you build a cross-platform, native or web app?
A cross-platform app suits work built around accounts, forms, bookings, payments and content. We usually use React Native, sharing a codebase across iOS and Android while adding native modules when a feature needs them. That gives you a shared foundation to maintain while still leaving room for features that need platform-specific work.
Flutter is another cross-platform option. It uses Dart and draws its own interface, which suits a heavily branded design when you want screens to look identical across platforms and are willing to work in Dart. We choose native development when the app needs deep device features.
A progressive web app is worth considering for a staff tool. It skips store review, but it will not appear in the app stores unless packaged for them. On an iPhone, it can ask to send notifications only after someone adds it to the Home Screen. That restriction is worth checking against how your staff will use the tool before you settle on it.
Local
What Kukatpally businesses need from an app
Kukatpally has restaurants, eateries and clothing retailers. A restaurant serving repeat customers could use reordering, loyalty and a fast checkout, with notifications governed by clear rules about who receives each message and when. People also need settings to switch off notification categories they do not want.
Small IT companies in Kukatpally with an established web platform might need an app once customers use that platform frequently. Reusing the existing accounts, data and backend keeps the app connected to the service people already use.
Small-scale industries in the Kukatpally–Sanathnagar belt may have field teams carrying out delivery, maintenance or inspections. Those teams need job forms that capture photos, signatures and location, then sync the records to the office when a connection returns.
Rules
What an app project in India has to handle
If you take payment for physical goods or services, UPI is an option for customer-to-merchant payments. We set up the payment gateway and test the checkout flow, including what happens when an integration fails. Google Play billing must not be used for physical goods or services; for digital goods and subscriptions sold in the app, Google Play billing is required, with alternative billing allowed in some regions.
How it runs
How mobile app development runs with us
We work remotely from India using video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards, so you can discuss the work and review progress without needing to visit us.
- 01
Discover
We learn about your business, audience and goals. You help us agree what belongs in the scope before design starts.
- 02
Design
We design the iOS and Android screens and refine them with your feedback before writing code. You review the flows people will use.
- 03
Prototype
Put the clickable design in front of a few real customers or staff. Their feedback helps you change screens while changes are cheaper than they would be after the build.
- 04
Build and test
We build the agreed product and test it on real devices and browsers. You can review the work as it takes shape.
- 05
Submit
We handle the store listings, submission and review under your own developer accounts. You provide access to those accounts for the release.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring the decisions and access details that will help shape the first release.
- List the tasks users need to complete, in the order they will do them.
- Start registering developer accounts in your company’s name; organisation accounts need a D-U-N-S number.
- Prepare a privacy policy that reflects what the app collects, for the app and its Apple store listing.
- For a new personal Google Play account, recruit opted-in testers for the required closed test.
- If the app has a login, prepare a working demo account and live backend for Apple’s review.
- List any analytics or advertising software planned for the app, so its data collection is covered in Google Play’s Data safety form.
Cost & time
What affects the work involved in app development
The scope determines how much design, development and testing the app needs.
User roles
Customers, drivers and staff each need their own screens and permissions, even when they share a backend.
Live features
Tracking and chat need persistent connections and more backend work than screens that load data on request.
Screen design
Custom animation, extra languages and tablet layouts add design and testing across screens.
Offline work
Showing previously loaded data is a smaller task than allowing people to create and edit records offline, then resolving conflicts when they sync.
Questions
Asked by businesses in Kukatpally
Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does it cost to develop an app?
There is no fixed price; the scope determines the work. A native app built for deep device features has separate iPhone and Android codebases to build and maintain. An app with user-generated content also needs moderation features, including reporting, blocking and filtering objectionable material.
How should I choose an app development company?
Choose a team that can explain what the app will let people do and how those actions will work on a phone. Ask how it will give people a reason to install the app beyond viewing a repackaged website, and which features genuinely need an account before use.
Can my app share data with my website?
Yes. We can build a shared backend for your app, website and admin tools, keeping customer accounts and data in one place. If people can create accounts, the build also needs an in-app deletion path; Google Play additionally requires a web link for deletion requests.
Will I own the app and its code?
Yes. You own your code, content and domain without lock-in. Keep the developer accounts, signing access and code repository in your business’s name too. That makes it easier to move the app later if you choose to work with someone else.
What should I plan for after launch?
Plan for measurement and maintenance after release. Analytics and crash reporting in the first release show which screens people use, where they stop and which devices crash. Track returning users and the crash-free rate, and plan maintenance releases to keep up with Google Play’s Android API requirements.
