Choosing
Should you choose cross-platform, native or a web app?
For an app built around accounts, bookings, payments, lists or content, a cross-platform build is a practical option. We usually use React Native, sharing one codebase across iOS and Android and adding native modules where a feature needs them. This gives you a shared foundation while still allowing platform-specific work where the product calls for it.
Native development fits an app built around deep device features, heavy graphics, complex background work or new platform features at launch. The trade-off is separate codebases to build and maintain. Flutter is another cross-platform option: it uses Dart and draws its own interface, which suits a heavily branded design when your team is willing to work in Dart.
A progressive web app is worth considering for a staff tool. It skips store review, but it needs packaging to appear in the app stores. On an iPhone, it can ask to send notifications only after the user adds it to the Home Screen.
Local
What businesses in Banjara Hills need from an app
Banjara Hills has restaurants as well as hotels, nightclubs and corporate offices. If you run a restaurant, an app for repeat customers could give them a quick route to reorder, use loyalty features and access saved payment details. Plan the notifications alongside the checkout: decide who receives each message and when, and give customers settings to switch off categories they do not want.
If your business in the Banjara Hills commercial centre already runs a web platform that customers use frequently, an app can use the same accounts and data. We build a shared backend for the app, website and admin tools, so your team has one place for customer data rather than separate systems to manage.
Rules
Payment choices for an app in India
UPI supports person-to-merchant payments, so it is an option to discuss for your checkout. Non-bank payment aggregators must be authorised by the Reserve Bank of India. We set up the integration with your payment gateway and test how the app handles payment failures; check that your chosen provider supports UPI and has the required authorisation. Each payment integration adds setup and testing work, so identify the provider when you agree the app’s scope.
How it runs
How a mobile app project runs with us
We work remotely from India, using video calls, WhatsApp and a shared project board. You can bring questions and feedback as the work progresses.
- 01
Discover
We learn about your business, audience and goals, then agree the scope with you. Bring the main task you want people to complete in the app.
- 02
Design
We prepare screens for iOS and Android and refine them with your feedback before writing code. Review the flow as well as the individual screens.
- 03
Prototype
Put the clickable design in front of a few real customers or staff. Their feedback helps you spot changes while the screens are still easier to revise.
- 04
Test
During development, you receive builds on your own phone through TestFlight or Google Play testing tracks. Try the main tasks in real use and share what needs attention.
- 05
Release
We handle the store listings, submission and review under your own developer accounts. You keep those accounts in your business’s hands.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring a short account of what the app needs to do and what it needs to connect to.
- List the tasks for the first release in the order users would do them.
- Note your website, booking system, CRM or payment provider, their APIs and who has admin access.
- Start registering developer accounts in your company’s name; organisation accounts need a D-U-N-S number.
- Prepare a privacy policy that matches the data the app collects.
- Note any analytics or advertising SDKs, so store privacy answers cover their data collection.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and time of development
The scope determines how much design, backend work and testing the app needs.
User roles
Customers, drivers and staff each need their own screens and permissions.
Live features
Tracking, chat and presence need persistent connections and more backend work.
Interface
Custom animation, languages and tablet layouts add design and testing across screens.
Existing backend
A documented API reduces the work; a new backend and admin panel can be a substantial build.
Offline use
Showing previously loaded data takes less work than offline editing, later syncing and conflict handling.

Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does it cost to develop an app?
There is no fixed price: the scope drives the cost. Accounts and admin tools add backend work, while in-app purchases and subscriptions add payment requirements. Bring the tasks and features you need to the scope discussion, then ask for a quote based on the agreed work.
Which app development company should I choose?
Choose a company that helps you define a useful app and explains how people will use it. Ask what the app will offer beyond your existing website: Apple’s guidelines expect more than a repackaged site. Also ask whether people need to sign in before they can use features that do not require an account.
What happens if my app lets customers create accounts?
Plan an account deletion route as part of the build. Apple requires people to be able to start deleting their account inside the app; deactivation alone is not enough. Google Play also requires an in-app deletion path for the account and associated data, plus a web link for deletion requests.
Will I own the app and its accounts?
You own your code, content and domain, with no lock-in. Keep your developer accounts, signing access and code repository in your business’s name too. Accounts held by an agency or freelancer can make the app harder to move if you later change who maintains it.
What support does the app need after launch?
Plan for bug fixes, operating-system updates and new features after release. Some JavaScript and content fixes can go out through an over-the-air update; native code changes and new permissions still need a store release. Track returning users, drop-off in the main task and the crash-free rate to assess releases.
