Choosing
Should you build a cross-platform, native or web app?
We usually use React Native for apps on iOS and Android. It gives you one codebase for both, with native modules where a feature needs them. It uses JavaScript or TypeScript and renders each platform’s own interface components, so a web development team can contribute and some logic can be shared with a React website.
Native development fits an app that depends on deep device features, heavy graphics or complex background work. Swift is used for iPhone and Kotlin for Android. That gives you separate codebases to build and maintain. Flutter is another cross-platform option: it uses Dart and draws its own interface, which suits a heavily branded design intended to look identical across platforms.
A progressive web app is worth considering for a staff tool. It skips store review, although it will not appear in the app stores unless packaged for them. On an iPhone, it can ask for notification permission only after someone adds it to the Home Screen. Your choice starts with where people need to find and use the product.
Local
What Andheri businesses need from an app
Film studios and TV news channels operate in Andheri East and West. An organisation whose audience already uses its web platform could give frequent users an app with the same accounts and data, served by the existing backend.
Andheri businesses working in Mumbai’s IT or entertainment sectors may also have staff doing work away from a desk. A field app can collect forms, photos, signatures and locations on each job, then sync them to the office when a signal returns.
For a shop or restaurant in Andheri, repeat orders are a useful place to start. Saved payment details, loyalty features and a quick checkout give customers a practical reason to return; notifications need to arrive at a useful moment.
Rules
What an app project in India has to handle
UPI supports mobile payments to merchants in India. For physical goods or services used outside the app, we set up a payment-provider checkout with UPI where your scope calls for it. Apple requires in-app purchase for digital content, features and subscriptions used inside the app, and we build store payments and subscriptions for both platforms. Tell us what customers will buy before checkout is designed: that determines the payment flow the app needs.
How it runs
How an app project runs with us
We work remotely with clients in other cities and countries through video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. You can review the work and give feedback as it takes shape.
- 01
Discover
Tell us about your business, audience and goals. We agree the scope together, including what the first release needs to do.
- 02
Design
We prepare iOS and Android screens and refine them with your feedback before writing code. Review the flows as a user would.
- 03
Prototype
Put the clickable design in front of customers or staff. Their feedback helps you change screens before they are built.
- 04
Test
We send builds to your phone through TestFlight or Google Play testing tracks. Use the app yourself and tell us where a task feels difficult.
- 05
Submit
We handle the store listings, submission and review under your own developer accounts. You retain access to those accounts.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring enough detail to discuss the first release and the systems it needs to use.
- A short list of user tasks, ordered from the first action to the last.
- Your website, booking, CRM or payment systems, with API details and the person who holds admin access.
- A privacy policy that reflects the data the app will collect, for the app and its Apple store listing.
- A plan for closed testing if you will use a new personal Google Play developer account.
- A working demo account and live backend for submission if the app requires a login.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timeline of app development
The work changes with the systems, screens and staff tools in your scope.
Integrations
A payment gateway, booking system or hardware connection needs setup, testing and a way to handle failures.
Interface requirements
Custom animation, extra languages or tablet layouts add design and testing across screens.
Existing backend
A documented API reduces the work compared with building the backend and admin panel from scratch.
Staff controls
An admin panel needs its own functions, such as looking up customers, issuing refunds and blocking abusive accounts.
Questions
Asked by businesses in Andheri
Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does it cost to develop an app?
There is no fixed price. The main drivers include how many types of user need separate screens and permissions, and whether features such as live tracking or chat need persistent connections. Agree the first-release scope before comparing quotes, so each proposal covers the same user flows and backend work.
How do I choose an app development company?
Ask how the team makes decisions about sign-up and privacy, as well as how it builds screens. An app without significant account-based features should let people use it without logging in. Also ask how the store’s privacy answers will be kept consistent with data collected by analytics or advertising tools.
What should the app include beyond its screens?
Plan for notification controls, analytics and crash reporting. Push messages need a sending service, rules about who receives each message and settings for unwanted categories. Tools such as Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics show which screens people use, where they give up and which devices crash.
Who should own the developer accounts and code?
Your business should hold the developer accounts, signing access and code. That makes the app easier to move if you change suppliers. Check whose name is on those accounts and the code repository before work begins, and keep access with your business as the app is prepared for release.
What happens after the app is launched?
Plan for bug fixes, operating-system updates and new features after release. Some JavaScript and content fixes can go out through an over-the-air update, while native code changes and new permissions need a store release. Track returning users, task drop-off and crash-free rates to judge how releases are performing.
