Choosing

Should you choose a fixed project or dedicated developers?

Choose a fixed-scope project when you can describe the build, keep the requirements stable and agree how you will accept the finished work. It gives both sides a defined piece of delivery to work towards. If you want to change the requirements during the project, put the change through a request so its effect on the work is visible before it is added.

Choose dedicated developers when the work is ongoing and priorities are likely to shift. You direct their work, so allow time to manage it. Developers working inside your team suit a business with its own technical lead; a managed team with its own lead suits you if you want to spend less time directing delivery.

A single project gives you a contained way to test the relationship. An ongoing arrangement gives the delivery team more opportunity to learn your standards, products and customers. We start by learning about your business, audience and goals, then agree the scope with you so the delivery arrangement fits the work you want done.

Rules

What a project for the Netherlands needs to handle

If your site uses tracking cookies, we set up a consent banner that asks visitors for explicit permission before those cookies are placed. Functional and analytical cookies that do not store sensitive personal data generally do not need consent if visitors are informed. The banner must not use pre-ticked boxes or a cookie wall.

If the work involves transferring personal data to India, we address that in the project arrangements. India is not recognised as adequate by the European Commission, so the transfer needs an appropriate safeguard, such as standard contractual clauses. We set up the agreed safeguards, such as encryption or pseudonymisation, after the measures needed have been assessed for the transfer.

How it runs

How an outsourcing project runs with us

We work remotely over video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. IST is 4h30m ahead, or 3h30m during Central European Summer Time, from the last Sunday in March to the last Sunday in October. Between calls, written end-of-day notes record progress, blockers and open questions so you can respond at the start of your day.

  1. 01

    Pilot

Start with a small paid piece, such as a feature or landing page. You get a practical way to assess communication, code quality and timekeeping before committing to a larger engagement.

  2. 02

    Design and build

We prepare desktop and mobile designs for your feedback before coding. We then build in code or an editable CMS and test on real devices and browsers. At launch, we set up the domain, email, analytics and search, followed by ongoing support.

  3. 03

    Communication

We assign a project lead, send written updates and agree a call time that overlaps with your working hours. You have a named contact for decisions and questions.

  4. 04

    Review

Check the work on a staging site against the agreed acceptance criteria. Send feedback as tickets with screenshots or screen recordings so the item to change is clear.

  5. 05

    Handover

We transfer code, credentials, documentation and deployment steps. Your team or another supplier has the materials needed to continue the work.

Checklist

What to have ready before we talk

A written brief and clear ownership decisions give the work a useful starting point.

  • BriefDescribe your goals, users, must-have features, examples you like and what is outside the scope.
  • AccountsPrepare accounts you own for code hosting, cloud hosting, domains and third-party services.
  • Client requirementsBring the end client’s requirements, approval steps and any subcontracting, confidentiality or data terms.
  • ContractCover confidentiality, intellectual property assignment, and what happens to code and access when work ends.
  • AcceptanceAgree how each finished item will be checked, which browsers and devices are included, and who signs it off.

Cost & time

What affects the cost and timing of outsourced development

The work involved changes with the people, coordination, systems and checks your project needs.

  • Skills and team

The mix of design, front-end, back-end and mobile work affects the people needed. Seniority and team size also change the effort involved.

  • Coordination

Required overlap with your working hours, meetings and reports all need to be planned alongside the build.

  • Quality checks

Test coverage, accessibility and performance targets affect the work, as does the range of browsers and devices you want supported.

  • Existing systems

Integrations add work, while the condition of code taken over from another team affects what needs attention before it can be extended.

Avoid

Mistakes to avoid when outsourcing development

  • Leaving the brief vague

Write requirements down and ask the delivery team to confirm its understanding. Without a shared record, unanswered questions can become wrong assumptions.

  • Skipping overlap

Agree a regular window when both sides are available. A question that cannot be answered while anyone is online can otherwise stall the work.

  • Leaving assets in vendor accounts

Keep repositories, hosting and domains in your own accounts so access and ownership stay clear.

  • Overlooking subcontracting

Ask who will do the work and whether any part will be passed to third parties. Put the answer in the contract.

Questions

Asked by businesses in Netherlands

Page updated 5 November 2026

What is white-label web development?

White-label web development is work built for your client and delivered under your agency’s name. We build websites and apps in that arrangement. The working rules can include your project templates, coding standards and client-facing tone, as well as your email domain or ticketing tools where agreed.

How much does white-label development cost?

There is no fixed price for every engagement. The work changes with the part of a product you need delivered, such as an integration or an admin area, and with the working-hours overlap and stand-ups you need. Compare the total effort, including management and potential rework, and ask us for a quote once the scope is agreed.

Is outsourcing development a good choice?

It can be a good fit when you have a defined piece of work or need ongoing capacity and can agree the scope, standards and communication rules with an outside team. Review the arrangement after a project by checking code quality, estimate accuracy and communication before deciding whether to continue, expand or bring the work in-house.

What work can you deliver for an agency or product business?

We deliver fixed-scope projects end to end, with weekly demos. That can support an agency selling websites and apps, a startup building or extending a product before recruiting its own engineers, or an e-commerce brand that needs outside help with store development, integrations and campaign pages.

Who owns the code and content?

You own your domain, content and code, with no lock-in. Our outsourcing arrangements also cover an NDA, code ownership and access handed to you. Put the ownership and access terms in place for the engagement so your team knows what it will receive when the work is complete.

What should we agree about support after launch?

Agree who will fix bugs found after launch and who will handle hosting, updates and monitoring. Set expectations for how quickly support questions will be answered as well. These decisions give your team a clear point of responsibility when something needs attention after the build has gone live.
