What you get

What’s included in mobile app development

  • App design

Screens and flows designed for iOS and Android conventions.

  • Cross-platform build

One React Native codebase for both platforms, with native modules where needed.

  • Backend & APIs

Accounts, data, notifications and admin tools behind the app.

  • Push notifications

Timely, targeted notifications that bring people back.

  • Payments & subscriptions

In-app purchases and subscriptions on both stores.

  • Store launch

App Store and Google Play listings, submission and release.

Tools we use: React Native, Expo, Swift, Kotlin, Firebase, Node.js.

Choosing

Should you choose cross-platform or native development?

We usually build with React Native. It gives you a shared codebase for iOS and Android, while using each platform’s own interface components. Your web developers can contribute, and some logic can be shared with a React web app. Where a particular feature needs closer access to the device, we use a native module.

A fully native build suits an app that depends on deep device features, heavy graphics, complex background work or new platform features at launch. It also means maintaining separate Swift and Kotlin codebases. Flutter is another option for a heavily branded interface: it draws its own screens, though your team needs to be willing to work in Dart.

For a staff tool, a progressive web app could be enough. It skips store review, but it won’t appear in the app stores unless packaged for them; on iPhone, notification permission also depends on the user adding it to the Home Screen. We choose the build around the device features and interfaces you actually need.

Local

What Tripura businesses need from an app

Tea businesses and brickfields are part of Tripura’s organised industrial sectors. If you work in either sector and want customers to use an app, plan the staff side as well: an admin panel gives your team a place to edit content, look up customers and handle account issues without calling a developer.

Businesses at Bodhjungnagar Industrial Growth Centre could also start with an existing web platform. If your customers use that platform frequently, an app can give them access using the same accounts and data. Bring details of the tasks customers repeat, so the app’s screens can be planned around those tasks and the backend you already use.

Rules

What an app project in India needs to handle

If your customers pay you, decide how checkout will work before designing the payment screens. UPI supports person-to-merchant payments in India. We plan the checkout and payment-provider integration around the transaction; where a non-bank provider aggregates payments for merchants, we check that it is authorised to do so. Digital goods and subscriptions sold inside an Android app also need Google Play billing, while physical goods and services use a different payment route.

How it runs

How a mobile app project runs with us

We work remotely from India, using video calls, WhatsApp and a shared project board. You can review the work and give feedback without travelling to meet us.

  1. 01

    Discover

Tell us about your business, audience and goals. We agree the scope with you before deciding what goes into the app.

  2. 02

    Design

We prepare screens for iOS and Android. You review the flows and give feedback before code is written.

  3. 03

    Build and test

You receive test builds on your own phone through TestFlight or Google Play testing tracks, so feedback comes from using the app.

  4. 04

    Prepare submission

If the app has a login, have a working demo account ready and keep the backend live for Apple’s review. Allow room to fix and resubmit if needed.

  5. 05

    Release

We handle the store listings, submission and review under your own developer accounts. You retain control of those accounts.

Checklist

What to have ready before we talk

These details help us agree a useful scope.

  • Developer accountsStart registration in your company’s name; organisation verification needs a D-U-N-S number.
  • TestersNew personal Google Play accounts need a closed test with at least 12 testers opted in for at least 14 days before production release.
  • Privacy policyPrepare a policy that matches the data the app collects, for its store listing and the app itself.
  • Existing systemsList your website, CRM, booking or payment systems, their APIs and who holds admin access.
  • Account accessDecide which tasks need a login and which customers should be able to try first.

Cost & time

What affects the cost and timeline of app development

The scope determines how much design, build and testing work is needed.

  • User roles

Customers, drivers and staff each need their own screens and permissions.

  • Live features

Tracking, chat and presence need persistent connections and more backend work than screens that load data on request.

  • Integrations

Payment gateways, booking systems and hardware need setup, testing and handling for failures.

  • Interface

Custom animation, additional languages and tablet layouts add design and testing across screens.

  • User content

Posts and other user-generated material need reporting, blocking and moderation tools.

Avoid

Mistakes to avoid with mobile app development

  • Wrapping a website in an app shell

Plan useful app features; Apple expects more than a repackaged website.

  • Adding an analytics or advertising SDK late

Update Google Play’s Data safety answers to cover the data that the SDK collects.

  • Leaving accounts with an agency

Keep developer accounts, signing access and code repositories in your business’s name so the app is easier to move.

Questions

Asked by businesses in Tripura

Page updated 5 November 2026

How much does it cost to develop an app?

There is no fixed price: the work depends on what you need to build. Offline editing and later synchronisation take more work than showing previously loaded data; notification rules and settings add scope; and in-app purchases or subscriptions need payment flows. We agree the scope with you before planning the work.

Which company should I choose for app development?

Choose a team whose approach fits the app you need and gives you access to the people doing the work. With us, you speak directly to the designers and developers. Ask how an existing website, app and admin tools would share customer accounts and data before agreeing the build.

Can customers delete their accounts in the app?

Yes. If your app lets people create accounts, plan an in-app route to start deletion. Apple does not accept deactivation alone. Google Play also requires a route to delete the account and associated data, plus a web link where people can request deletion.

Can an app support repeat orders?

Yes. For a shop or restaurant, the scope can include reordering, loyalty and saved payment details, with a fast checkout and notifications timed for repeat customers. Decide which of those tasks your customers will use before adding screens, and plan the notification settings alongside the messages.

Who owns the app code?

You own your code, content and domain, with no lock-in. That gives you control of the materials you need for your product after the initial build. Include ownership in your discussions before work starts, alongside the practical handover of the code and content.

What happens after the app launches?

Ongoing support covers bug fixes, updates for new iOS and Android versions, and new features. Plan maintenance releases for Google Play’s Android API requirements. Look at retention and where people leave the main task, as well as the crash-free rate, to assess how the app is working after release.
