Choosing
Should you choose WordPress or a custom website?
WordPress suits a team that publishes often and wants to edit most of the site itself. Its plugins give you a choice of features, though someone needs to keep the installation updated for security. Think about who will make those updates as well as who will publish the content.
A custom Next.js site suits you if fast pages, tight security and freedom from template limits are priorities. It is a better fit when you are happy for a developer to handle structural changes. You can still have an editor for content, so a custom build does not mean handing every text change to a developer.
A hosted builder such as Wix, Squarespace or Webflow suits a small site you want to run alone. You give up some control over code and speed, and moving away later can mean rebuilding. We recommend WordPress or Next.js after learning how your team works and how much editing you expect to do.
Local
What Spring Hill organisations need from a website
Spring Hill has public and private schools providing primary and secondary education. A school’s website needs a clear page structure so families can find the information they came for, alongside a contact form that sends enquiries to the person responsible for answering them.
A business serving visitors to nearby Weeki Wachee Springs needs clear service information and an easy way to get in touch. On a phone, click-to-call or WhatsApp gives a visitor a direct route to ask about what you offer.
If you supply Florida’s agriculture sector from Spring Hill, your site needs to help a buyer assess your capabilities. Product pages, certifications and downloadable specifications give them useful detail; a quote form should ask enough for you to respond properly.
Rules
What a United States website project needs to handle
For a business open to the public, US Department of Justice guidance says the ADA covers goods and services offered on the web and points to WCAG as helpful guidance. We set an accessibility target in the brief and use it to guide the page design and build. WCAG groups its criteria into A, AA and AAA levels; agreeing your target early gives the project a reference for the work. The W3C encourages using the latest version.
How it runs
How your website project runs with us
We work remotely over video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. IST is 10h30m ahead of Eastern time in winter and 1 hour less during daylight saving time. The shared board keeps feedback and decisions visible across that difference.
- 01
Discover
Tell us who buys from you, why they choose you and what visitors should do on the site. We use those answers to shape the sitemap.
- 02
Design
We make wireframes before the visual designs. Review the content and its order first; we then refine desktop and mobile page designs with your feedback.
- 03
Build
We develop the site in clean code or with a content management system your team can edit, then test it on real devices and browsers.
- 04
Check
Proofread every page, submit each form and confirm who receives its messages before launch.
- 05
Launch
We set up your domain, email, analytics and Search Console, then walk your team through the handover.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Start with the action you want visitors to take and who will handle each enquiry.
- Brand filesYour logo in SVG, AI or EPS, plus colours and fonts, or a note that these need creating.
- PhotosImages of your team, premises and finished work.
- Proof of workCase studies, permitted client logos, testimonials, certifications and memberships in one folder.
- ReferencesSites you like and dislike, with a short reason for each.
- Account accessLogin details for your domain, hosting, email, analytics and Search Console, or the name of the person who holds them.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timeline?
The scope has several parts, from page structure and forms to search setup and launch, and each needs an owner.
Content readiness
Copy and photos ready to publish keep the work smaller; adding copywriting, photography or translation expands it.
Editing setup
A separate content editor paired with a custom front end adds moving parts to host and maintain.
Real copy
Designing with placeholder text can mean revisiting layouts when the finished headings and paragraphs arrive.
Page scope
Copying every page from an old site creates more to keep current. Clear service pages in a shorter site are easier to scan and maintain.

Questions
Asked by businesses in Spring Hill
Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does it cost to have a website built?
There is no fixed price. The main drivers include the number of distinct page templates, features such as booking or a CRM connection, and the amount of old content that needs moving and checking. Once the scope is agreed, ask us for a free quote based on that work.
Is a business website still worth building?
A website gives you a place to direct visitors towards an enquiry and measure what they do. Set up analytics to track form submissions, calls and WhatsApp clicks as conversions, then check which pages those enquiries started from. That gives you useful evidence for deciding what to improve.
Can you use our existing brand?
Yes. We can build on your existing logo, colours and fonts, and prepare brand assets for the web where needed. Reviewing each page on a phone also helps you judge how that identity and its content work on the screen many visitors use.
Will we own the website?
Yes. You own the domain, content and code, with no lock-in. Your business should also hold the domain and hosting accounts in its own name and grant access to the people working on the site. That keeps control of those accounts with you.
How will we keep the website updated after launch?
Your team can use the content editor for pages, news, projects and careers without training. Decide who will be responsible for publishing those updates after launch. An old news or project post can leave visitors wondering whether your company is still trading.
