Choosing
Which website platform should you choose?
Start with the work your team will do after launch. WordPress suits a team that edits a lot of its own content. A custom Next.js site offers more speed and security and can still include an editor. We recommend an option after understanding how your team works, including who needs to make changes and how often.
A hosted builder such as Wix, Squarespace or Webflow suits a small site that you want to run alone. You give up some control over code and speed, though, and moving away later can mean rebuilding the site. Before choosing one, consider how much control you want to retain over the finished build.
A headless setup pairs a custom front end with a separate content editor. It is an option when you need speed alongside heavy editing, but it adds moving parts to host and maintain. We help you weigh that extra upkeep against the editing work your team expects to do.
Local
What Florida businesses need from their websites
Tourism and hospitality are part of Florida’s economy. For an appointment-based business in the sector, clear service pages, opening hours and a booking or call option give visitors useful details on a phone. Practitioner profiles give the site room to explain who provides the service.
Agriculture is another major sector, with crops including fresh tomatoes and mangoes. An agricultural business needs to decide which pages explain its offer, who maintains the content and where enquiries should go. Those decisions belong in the project scope, alongside the page design and launch.
Technology businesses in Miami, Orlando and Tampa include product-focused teams that need to explain what they are building. A startup site can present the product in plain language and give visitors a way to join a waitlist or book a demo.
Rules
Accessibility for a website in the United States
US guidance says the ADA covers goods and services that businesses open to the public offer on the web, and identifies WCAG as helpful guidance. Agree an accessibility target in the brief before page design starts. We use that target when setting up the desktop and mobile page designs, then refine the designs with your feedback. WCAG groups its criteria into A, AA and AAA levels, and its publisher encourages using the latest version.
How it runs
How a website project runs with us
We work remotely over video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. India is 10h30m ahead of Eastern time in winter; the difference is 1 hour less during daylight saving time. The shared board gives both teams a place to keep project work visible across that time difference.

Discover
Tell us who buys from you, why they choose you and what you want visitors to do. We learn about your audience and goals, then agree the scope with you.
- 02
Design
We prepare the sitemap, wireframes and page designs for desktop and mobile. You review them and give feedback before the build.
- 03
Build
We develop the site in code or with a content management system your team can edit, and test it on real devices and browsers.
- 04
Review
You proofread every page, submit each form and confirm who receives its messages. This gives you a chance to catch small errors before visitors see them.
- 05
Launch
We set up the domain, email, analytics and Search Console, then walk your team through the handover.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring what you have, along with the name of anyone who holds the remaining details.
- Your goal for the site, such as quote requests or calls, and who handles each enquiry.
- Logo files in SVG, AI or EPS format, plus your brand colours and fonts.
- Photos of your team, premises and finished work; arrange any needed photo shoot ahead.
- Case studies, testimonials, certifications and client logos you have permission to show.
- Websites you like and dislike, with a short explanation of each choice.
- Details of who holds the domain, hosting, email, analytics and Search Console logins.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and time for your website
The scope determines how much design, build and checking work the project needs.
Extra features
Booking, calculators, member logins, multiple languages or a CRM connection add design, build and testing work.
Content migration
Blog posts, news archives and downloadable files from an existing site need moving and checking.
Content preparation
Service descriptions, team biographies, case studies and photos need an owner; gathering them can take longer than approving the design.
Editing needs
Decide who will update the site and how often before choosing a platform, so the build fits the work your team will do.
Avoid
Mistakes to avoid
Waiting to supply content
Use real headings and paragraphs during design. Placeholder text can leave you with layouts that no longer fit when the final copy arrives.
Reviewing only on a large screen
Check every page on a phone before approving it, including the content a visitor needs to read and act on.
Copying every existing page
Choose the pages your visitors need, with clear service pages your team can keep current. A shorter site is easier to scan and maintain.

Questions
Asked by businesses in Florida
Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does it cost to have a website built?
There is no fixed price: the work depends on the scope. Distinct page templates are a major driver, as are copy and photos that still need preparing or translation. Agree the scope with us before requesting a quote, so it reflects the pages and content your project needs.
Is a website still worth building for my business?
A website gives you a place to measure the enquiries it generates. Track form submissions, calls and WhatsApp clicks as conversions in analytics, then check which pages visitors started from. That gives you a practical way to review the site against the actions you want people to take.
Should I choose a custom design or a template?
A custom design fits when your brand, content or audience needs something specific. An adapted template fits a simpler site with a tight brief. If you choose a template, rework it around your real content so the page structure fits what you need to explain.
What is included in the website build?
The build includes a content editor and search setup. Your team can use the editor for pages, news, projects and careers without training. We also set up metadata, structured data and sitemaps, with fast load times across the pages of the site.
Will I own my website after launch?
Yes. You own the domain, content and code, with no lock-in. Keep the domain and hosting accounts in your business’s name and grant access to the people working on the site. That keeps the accounts under your control when you need changes later.
Can you support the site after launch?
Yes. Ongoing support follows launch and handover. Within your own team, decide who will update news, projects and job posts, so those sections stay current. Assigning an owner for each type of update makes the editing work easier to manage after the site goes live.
