You get screen designs that make tasks clear for the people using your product. For your London business, we map user flows, design desktop and mobile screens, and create a clickable prototype to test before development. We agree the scope with you, then refine the designs with your feedback before any code is written.

Choosing
What should you design first?
Start with the decision you need to make. Low-detail wireframes help you agree where information and controls belong without spending effort on visual detail. A clickable prototype takes more of the flow into a form people can try, making it useful when you need to test a task or show the idea to investors before development.
For a new product or a sensitive flow such as checkout, interviews and usability tests give you evidence from real users. For an existing product, reviewing analytics and support tickets is a way to identify problems when the schedule is tight. The choice affects how much research work is needed and what evidence you have for design decisions.
A small component library suits an early product or marketing site. A full design system is more useful across many screens or several teams. An established UI kit helps an early product move faster; a custom visual language gives you more control when the interface itself is part of what customers pay for. We review the flows with you against how your customers and staff work.
Local
What London organisations need from design
London is a major financial centre. Finance and insurance businesses need forms that make sensitive details clear to enter and that pass accessibility checks. Labels, field structure and the way errors are explained all need attention when you are asking a customer to provide information.
Technology companies are concentrated in East London Tech City. For a SaaS business, the design work often centres on onboarding, dashboards and settings, so users can find their way to the value they signed up for.
London also hosts universities and colleges. Where an institution has internal tools built without a designer, staff screens can be reviewed for steps and errors that make everyday tasks harder to complete.
Rules
What a UK design project has to handle
UK guidance says organisations providing services through a website must make reasonable adjustments for disabled people. For your design, that means accessibility needs to be addressed in the screens and components. We set up readable text sizes, colour contrast, visible focus states, clear labels and tap targets that are large enough to use. The work gives your developers specific design details to carry into the build and check against the relevant accessibility criteria.
How it runs
How a UI UX design project runs with us
We work remotely from India, using video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards to keep feedback and decisions visible. IST is 5h30m ahead of the UK, or 4h30m during British Summer Time, so the shared board gives you a place to review work and leave feedback across that difference.
- 01
Discover
You share your goals, user types, analytics, support complaints and competing products. We turn them into problems for the design to address.
- 02
Structure
We agree page and screen structure in wireframes before visual design begins. You check that the proposed structure fits the tasks people need to complete.
- 03
Design
We create desktop and mobile screens in your brand, ready for development. You review the screens and give feedback on what needs refinement.
- 04
Test
We build a clickable prototype, and you help invite customers or staff to try it. Watching where users hesitate or get lost gives us evidence for revisions before the product is built.
- 05
Hand over
We provide the specifications and assets your developers need, with support while they build the design.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring what you already have so we can understand the product and the decisions ahead.
- User types and tasksNote who uses the product and which tasks bring revenue or generate support calls.
- Evidence of frictionGather analytics, session recordings, support tickets or sales call notes that show where people get stuck.
- Brand filesShare your guidelines, logo, fonts, colours and any existing design files.
- Technical limitsAsk your developers about their front-end framework, component library and current back-end constraints.
- Familiar productsList competing products or common tools your users know, with notes on what works and what annoys them.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and time of UI UX design
The scope changes the amount of design and review work involved.
Research scope
Interviews, surveys and usability tests add work compared with a desk review, while giving you stronger evidence for decisions.
Screen states
Empty, loading, error and no-results states all need design attention, as do very long names and missing permissions.
Design system
Building a system from scratch adds work at the start, then saves effort on the screens designed after it.
Order of decisions
Polished visuals created before flows are agreed can need restructuring. Agreeing the flow first helps avoid that extra work.
Avoid
Mistakes to avoid with UI UX design
Designing beyond the technology
Check the front-end framework and existing component library before creating controls that are difficult for your developers to build.
Making forms hard to use
Avoid low-contrast text, small tap targets and fields labelled only with placeholder text. Give each field a clear label and check the design on a phone.
Settling debates by opinion
Put the prototype in front of real users and watch what they do. Their actions give you evidence to use when choosing between designs.
Walking away at handover
Keep the designer available during development so questions get answered without guesswork and the built product stays closer to the design.

Questions
Asked by businesses in London
Page updated 5 November 2026
How much do agencies charge for UI UX design?
There is no fixed price. The main drivers include the number of distinct screens and user roles, and the complexity of flows such as onboarding, checkout or permission settings. Those flows need more iteration than content pages. Once the scope is agreed, ask us for a free quote.
What does a UI UX design agency do?
It plans how people use a product and how its screens look. UX covers the order of tasks, screen structure, labels and error handling; UI covers the visual appearance of each screen. The work gives you a way to make those decisions before developers build the product.
Should I hire a designer separately from my developers?
Design-only work suits you if you already have developers who will build the product. Choosing design and build from the same team suits you if you want a single party responsible for the finished product. Decide who will answer design questions during development before you choose.
What files will my developers receive?
Developer handover includes specifications, exported assets, named components and interaction notes. The designer is available to answer questions during the build. Where the scope includes a design system, reusable buttons, form fields, colours, type styles and spacing give developers a consistent set of components to work from.
Who owns the work after the project?
You own your domain, content and code, with no lock-in. If your project includes a website or product build, that ownership gives you control over those assets after delivery. Agree the scope of the design and build work before it starts so you know what is being delivered.
What should we check after launch?
Compare task completion, drop-off between steps, support tickets and conversion with the figures from before the change. Keep the design files and component system current as the product changes, too. Feedback from your support and sales teams can help you choose what to address in the next design round.
