Choosing
Should you improve the current design or start again?
For a live product, an incremental redesign lets you change screens in stages when users are accustomed to the current interface. It gives you room to respond to their feedback without asking them to adapt to a sudden change. A full redesign is more suitable when the product’s structure no longer reflects how people use it; it also asks you to revisit more of the interface at once.
Choose your research to fit the product. Interviews and usability tests with real users suit a new product or a high-stakes flow such as checkout or onboarding. For an existing product, analytics and support tickets give you material to review when the schedule is tight. They help you identify which parts of the current experience need attention.
For an early product, an established UI kit or open-source component library reduces the work needed to get started. A custom visual language takes more design work, but gives you more control when the interface itself is part of what customers pay for. Choose based on how much of that distinction your product needs.
Local
What Kerala businesses need from UI UX design
Kerala’s economy is largely service-sector oriented. A service business selling online needs product, cart and checkout screens that are quick to use on a phone. Fewer steps and form fields give customers less to work through when they are ready to buy, so those screens deserve attention alongside the rest of the design.
Software and food processing are among Kerala’s major industrial initiatives. A software company selling a subscription product needs clear onboarding, dashboards and settings so users can find value early. A food processor with an internal tool needs staff screens that cut steps and errors in tasks people carry out throughout the day. The flows and screens to prioritise will differ for each organisation.
How it runs
How a UI UX design project runs with us
We are a studio in India and work with clients remotely through video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. You can review the work and give feedback without needing to meet us in person.
- 01
Discover
You share your goals, user types, analytics, support complaints and competing products. We turn what you share into problems for the design to address.
- 02
Plan the flows
We sketch flows and wireframes step by step. You review them against the way your customers and staff actually work.
- 03
Design the screens
We create desktop and mobile screens in your brand, ready for development. You review the screens as the design takes shape.
- 04
Test the prototype
You invite customers or staff to try it. We watch where they hesitate or get lost and use that evidence in the design work.
- 05
Hand over
We provide specifications, exported assets, named components and interaction notes. The designer stays available to answer questions during the build.
- 06
Build and launch
We can build the product, test it on real devices and browsers, and set up the domain, email, analytics and search. Ongoing support follows launch.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring what you have about your users and how they use the product, so we can map their flows.
- User types and tasksMark the tasks that bring revenue or cause support calls.
- Brand and design filesShare your logo, fonts, colours, guidelines and any existing design files.
- Technical limitsAsk your developers about their framework, component library and back-end constraints.
- Familiar productsNote what works and annoys users in competing products or common tools.
- Test participantsIdentify customers or staff willing to try a prototype and discuss what confuses them.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timeline of UI UX design
The scope of the interface and the tools used to create it both affect the work involved.
Platforms and layouts
Separate web, iOS and Android designs, or desktop and mobile layouts, add screens and reviews.
A design system from scratch
Creating reusable components adds work up front, then saves effort as later screens are designed.
System size
A product with many screens or several teams can warrant a full design system; a marketing site or early product can use a smaller component library.
Existing technology
Check the chosen front-end framework and component library before designing components, so developers are not left with designs that are difficult to build.
Avoid
Mistakes to avoid with UI UX design
Polishing screens too early
Agree the flows before investing in visual detail. Otherwise, attractive screens can need restructuring when the underlying steps change.
Designing only the ideal path
Include errors, empty states and edge cases in the design work. Leaving them to developers during the build means those decisions have to be improvised.
Settling debates by opinion
Put the prototype in front of real users when the team disagrees. Their experience gives you evidence for the decision.
Walking away after handover
Keep the designer available during development. That gives developers someone to ask when a detail is unclear, instead of having to guess.

Questions
Asked by businesses in Kerala
Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does UI UX design cost?
There is no fixed price. The number of distinct screens and user roles affects the scope, as does the complexity of flows such as onboarding, checkout, multi-step forms and permission settings. Those flows need more iteration than content pages. We send a free quote once the scope is agreed.
What does a UI UX design agency do?
An agency designs how people move through a product and what they see on its screens. The work can include agreeing page and screen structure before visual design, then preparing desktop and mobile screens in your brand. A handover gives developers the specifications and assets they need to build them.
Should I hire for design only or design and development?
Choose design only when you have developers who can build from the finished files. Choose design and build from the same team when you want a single party responsible for the finished product. Before deciding, check who will answer the developers’ questions and who will take responsibility for the finished work.
Are accessibility and error states included in the design?
The design should cover both. That means readable text sizes, colour contrast, visible focus states, clear labels and tap targets large enough to use. Screens also need states for loading, errors, no results, long names and missing permissions, so the interface is considered beyond the ideal path.
Will I own the work after the project?
Yes. With us, you own your domain, content and code, with no lock-in. Ask about ownership when you agree the scope, especially if you expect another development team to work on the product later. You should know what you will control after the work is handed over.
What should we do after the design launches?
Compare the new experience with the figures from before the change. Task completion, drop-off between steps, support tickets and conversion can show where to investigate. Keep the design files and component system updated as the product changes, and use feedback from support and sales to plan the next design round.
