Choosing
Should you build a cross-platform, native or web app?
A cross-platform app suits many products built around accounts, forms, bookings, payments or content. React Native shares most of the code across iOS and Android while rendering each platform’s own interface components. Your web developers can contribute, and some logic can be shared with a React website. Flutter is another cross-platform option: it draws its own interface and suits a heavily branded design where you want screens to look alike on both platforms.
Choose native development when your product relies on deep device features, heavy graphics or complex background work. That gives you separate iPhone and Android codebases to build and maintain. A progressive web app is another option for a staff tool: it avoids store review, though it will not appear in the app stores unless packaged for them. On an iPhone, it can ask for notification permission only after someone adds it to the Home Screen. We use React Native for most apps and go native when deep device features call for it.
Local
What Uttar Pradesh businesses need from an app
Services dominate the state’s economy. Shops and restaurants serving repeat customers need a quick checkout, saved payment details and notifications timed around a useful action, such as reordering. Clinics and other appointment businesses need booking, reminders and a staff view of the day’s schedule.
Travel and tourism are part of the state’s services sector. An operator whose customers already use a website can give frequent users an app that shares their existing accounts and data, so they do not have to start again in a separate system.
Leather production units, including those in Agra and Kanpur, may need customers and staff to work with the same account data. A shared backend gives the app, website and admin tools a common place to use that information.
Rules
Payments your app needs to handle in India
UPI supports payments between people and merchants, so we can set up a checkout that offers it for a customer payment. The item being sold also changes the payment flow. Apple requires in-app purchase for digital content, features and subscriptions used in the app; physical goods and services used outside it must be paid for another way, such as a card gateway. We set up the relevant payment or subscription flow as part of the app build.
How it runs
How an app project runs with us
We work remotely from India using video calls, WhatsApp and a shared project board. You talk directly to the people designing and building your product, so feedback reaches the people doing the work.
- 01
Discover
We learn about your business, audience and goals, then agree the scope with you. Bring the main task you want someone to complete in the app.
- 02
Design
We prepare iOS and Android screens and refine them with your feedback before writing code. You can review the flow while changes are still being made to the designs.
- 03
Build
We include analytics and crash reporting in the first release. This gives you a view of screen use, drop-off points and the devices on which crashes occur.
- 04
Test
You receive builds on your own phone through TestFlight or Google Play testing tracks. Use them for the tasks you expect customers or staff to perform and share what needs attention.
- 05
Launch
We handle listings, submission and review under your developer accounts. If the app has a login, prepare a working demo account and live backend for submission; leave room for fixes and resubmission.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring enough detail for us to discuss the first release.
- Write the tasks users must complete, in the order they will do them.
- List connected systems, their APIs and who holds admin access.
- Start company developer account registration early; organisation accounts need a D-U-N-S number.
- If using a new personal Google Play account, identify people for its required closed test.
- For an app with account creation, plan an in-app deletion path and a web link for deletion requests on Google Play.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and work involved
The scope determines how much needs to be built and tested.
User types
Customers, drivers and staff each need their own screens and permissions, even when they share a backend.
Live features
Tracking, chat and presence need persistent connections and more backend work than screens that load data on request.
Integrations
A payment gateway, booking system, CRM or scanner adds setup, testing and work to handle failures.
Existing systems
A documented backend API reduces the work; a new backend and admin panel can be as large a task as the app itself.
Avoid
Mistakes to avoid when building an app
Wrapping a website in an app shell
Plan useful app functionality beyond the existing site, since a repackaged website risks Apple rejecting it.
Requiring sign-up too early
Let people see useful content or complete a task without logging in when the app has no significant account-based features.
Requesting notifications on first launch
Ask when the benefit is clear, such as after an order. On Android 13 and later, notifications stay off until the user allows them.
Adding an SDK without reviewing privacy answers
Update Google Play’s Data safety form to cover data collected by third-party analytics or advertising software.
Questions

Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does it cost to develop an app?
There is no fixed price; the work depends on what the app must do. Offline editing and later sync need conflict handling, while user-generated content needs moderation features such as reporting and blocking. Both add scope beyond screens that display existing data. Ask us for a quote once the scope is agreed.
How do I choose an app development company?
Choose a team that can explain what it will measure after release, as well as what it will build. Ask how you will see where people leave the main task and how often they return. A crash-free rate also helps you judge whether a release has improved or hurt stability.
How are push notifications set up?
We set up targeted push notifications using a sending service and rules for who receives each message and when. The app also needs settings that let people switch off categories they do not want. Agree those categories around useful messages so customers have control over what reaches them.
Can users delete their accounts in the app?
Yes. For an app that lets people create an account, the iPhone build needs a way to start account deletion inside the app. A screen that only disables or deactivates the account is not enough for Apple’s requirement, so include the deletion flow when planning account screens.
Who owns the app code and content?
You own your code, content and domain, with no lock-in. That gives you control over those assets after the app is built. Keep a clear record of the code and content you own, along with the domain used for your product, so your business can manage them.
What happens after the app launches?
Plan for maintenance releases. Google Play requires new apps and updates to target a recent Android API level, and an outdated app can become unavailable to new users on newer devices. Some JavaScript and content fixes can be delivered over the air; native code changes and new permissions still need a store release.
