Mobile app development company in Cochin
You get a mobile app shaped around the tasks your customers or staff need to complete. We design screens for iOS and Android and build the accounts, data and admin tools behind them. As a studio in India, MSH Technologies works with businesses in Kochi by learning what the app needs to do and building around that scope.

Choosing
Should you choose native or cross-platform?
We usually build with React Native. It uses a shared JavaScript or TypeScript codebase for iOS and Android while rendering each platform’s own interface components. Web developers can contribute, and some logic can be shared with a React web app. We use native modules where a feature needs them and discuss the device features your app needs before choosing the approach.
A native build uses Swift for iPhone and Kotlin for Android. It fits an app with deep device features, heavy graphics, complex background work or a need for new platform features at launch. You will have separate codebases to build and maintain. Flutter is another cross-platform option: it draws its own interface, which suits a heavily branded design when your team is prepared to work in Dart.
A progressive web app is worth considering for a staff tool. It skips store review, though it will not appear in app stores unless packaged for them. On iPhone, it can ask to send notifications only after the user adds it to the Home Screen.
Local
What Kochi businesses need from an app
Shipbuilding and petroleum refining are part of Kochi’s economy. If you manage maintenance or inspection work, your field staff may need to capture forms, photos, signatures and job locations away from a reliable signal. The app needs to hold that information and sync it to the office when the connection returns, so staff can complete the record at the job.
Kalamassery has KINFRA Hi-Tech Park. If your customers already use your web platform frequently, an app can give them another way to reach the same service. Reusing their accounts, data and backend gives the app and website a shared source of information, while your team continues to manage that service.
Rules
What an app project in India needs to handle
The checkout needs to match what you sell. For physical goods or services used outside the app, we set up payment through a gateway that supports UPI, a person-to-merchant payment system in India. For digital content, features or subscriptions used inside an iPhone app, we set up in-app purchases. We identify the purchase flow before configuring payments, so the checkout reflects what the customer is buying.
How it runs
How an app project runs with us
We work remotely from India over video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. You can discuss the work with us and give feedback without needing to meet in person.
- 01
Discover
We learn about your business, audience and goals. You tell us what users need to do, and we agree the scope together before the work begins.
- 02
Design
We create iOS and Android screens and refine them with your feedback before writing code. You can review the screens and flows at this stage.
- 03
Test
We send builds to your phone through TestFlight or Google Play’s internal or closed testing tracks. You use the app and share feedback from real use.
- 04
Prepare submission
If the app has a login, you provide a working demo account and the backend needs to be live. Leave room in the launch plan for fixes and resubmission.
- 05
Release
We handle the store listings, submission and review under your own developer accounts. You retain access to the accounts used for publication.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring the information that will help us agree what the app needs.
- List the tasks users must complete in the first release, in the order they would do them.
- Start registering company developer accounts early; organisation accounts need a D-U-N-S number for verification.
- Prepare a privacy policy that matches the data the app collects. It needs links in the app and its Apple store listing.
- Keep developer accounts, signing access and code repositories in your business’s name.
- Identify analytics or advertising tools you plan to use, so their data collection is covered in Google Play’s Data safety form.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timeline
The work grows with the screens, connections and behaviour your app needs.
Integrations
A payment gateway, booking system, CRM or scanner each needs setup, testing and failure handling.
Screen design
Custom animation, additional languages and tablet layouts add design and testing across screens.
Offline work
Showing last-loaded data is less work than letting users edit records offline and resolving conflicts when they sync.
User content
Posts or other user-generated material need moderation features, including reporting, blocking and filtering.

Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does it cost to develop an app?
There is no fixed price. The number of user types affects the screens and permissions needed, while an existing backend with a documented API can reduce the work compared with building a backend and admin panel from scratch. Ask for a quote based on an agreed scope.
How should I choose an app development company?
Choose a team that will give you ownership and discuss what users gain from installing the app. With us, you own your domain, content and code without lock-in. A simple wrapper around an existing website risks rejection, so ask how the proposed app will offer more.
What is included beyond the app screens?
The app can share a backend with your website and admin tools, so they use the same service for accounts and data. If users can create accounts, the build also needs an in-app deletion path. Google Play additionally requires a web link for deletion requests.
What support is needed after launch?
Plan for bug fixes, updates for new iOS and Android versions, and new features. Google Play also requires apps and updates to target a recent Android API level; apps that fall out of date can become unavailable to new users on newer devices. We provide ongoing support after launch.
How will I know what to improve after release?
Use analytics and crash reporting from the first release to see which screens people use, where they stop and which devices crash. Look at how many users return and where they drop out of the main task, as well as the crash-free rate after a release.
