Choosing

Should you build a cross-platform app or go native?

A cross-platform app shares most of its code across iOS and Android. It suits products built around accounts, forms, bookings, maps, payments or content. We usually use React Native, with native modules where a feature needs them. That gives you a shared codebase to maintain while leaving room for platform-specific work.

A native build uses Swift for iPhone and Kotlin for Android. It fits deep device features, heavy graphics, complex background work or a need to use new platform features at launch. The trade-off is maintaining separate codebases. Flutter is another cross-platform option; its Dart-based interface suits a heavily branded design that needs to look identical across platforms.

A progressive web app is worth considering for a staff tool. It skips store review, though it needs packaging to appear in app stores. On iPhone, it can ask to send notifications only after someone adds it to the Home Screen. Start with the device features and distribution your users need; those choices help us agree the scope with you.

Local

What Gurugram businesses need from an app

Gurugram has hospitality and medical tourism businesses. A restaurant serving repeat customers might need reordering, saved payment details and a quick checkout, with notifications timed around a useful reason to return. A clinic has a different daily workflow: booking, reminders, payments and a schedule staff can check throughout the day.

Manufacturing businesses in New Gurgaon, Manesar and Sohna and institutes in Gurugram have their own staff and user workflows. An app for work away from a reliable signal needs an early decision about offline use: showing previously loaded data is a smaller task than allowing edits and resolving conflicts when records sync. An institute with an established web platform could also reuse its accounts and data in an app for frequent users.

Rules

What an app project in India has to handle

If your customers need to pay through UPI, we set up a payment gateway in the checkout flow. UPI supports person-to-merchant payments, so the checkout needs to match the way your customers will pay.

For digital subscriptions sold in the app, we set up in-app purchases and subscriptions for the stores. Google Play requires its billing system for digital goods and subscriptions, although some regions allow alternative billing. Physical goods and services use a different payment route, so what you sell determines the checkout setup.

How it runs

How an app project runs with us

We are a studio in India and work remotely with you through video calls, WhatsApp and a shared project board. You can review the work and give feedback without travelling to meet us.

  1. 01

    Discover

Tell us about your business, audience and goals. We agree the scope with you before moving into screen design.

  2. 02

    Design

Review the screens before code is written. Put the clickable prototype in front of customers or staff, so their feedback can shape the flows while changes are easier to make.

  3. 03

    Build and test

Try development builds on your own phone through TestFlight on iPhone or the internal or closed testing tracks on Google Play. Use the app for real tasks and tell us where a flow needs work.

  4. 04

    Prepare the listing

Bring a privacy policy that reflects the information the app collects. We link it inside the app and in the Apple store listing.

  5. 05

    Submit

We handle the store listings, submission and review under your own developer accounts. You retain those accounts for the product.

Checklist

What to have ready before we talk

Bring the following so we can discuss the first release and the systems around it.

  • Write down what users must do in the first release, in the order they will do it.
  • List your website, CRM, booking or ERP software and payment provider; note which have an API and who has admin access.
  • Start registering Apple and Google developer accounts in your company’s name; organisation verification needs a D-U-N-S number.
  • Plan to keep the code repository and signing access in your business’s name.
  • Decide when a notification would be useful to a user, such as after an order, instead of asking permission immediately.

Cost & time

What affects the cost and timeline

The work changes with the flows, design and systems your app needs.

  • User roles

Customers, drivers and staff each need their own screens and permissions, even when they share a backend.

  • Screen design

Custom animation, additional languages, right-to-left scripts and tablet layouts add design and testing work across screens.

  • Existing systems

A documented backend API reduces the work. A new backend and admin panel can require as much work as the app itself.

  • User-generated content

Apple requires filtering, reporting, blocking and published contact details, so a product with user posts needs moderation features built in.

Questions

Asked by businesses in Gurugram

Page updated 5 November 2026

How much does it cost to develop an app?

There is no fixed price. The main drivers include the backend and admin panel, the app’s user flows and the rules for sending notifications. A notification feature needs a sending service, audience rules and settings for users to switch categories off. We send a free quote once the scope is agreed.

How should I choose an app development company?

Choose a team whose process lets you review the design and understand who will build and launch the product. With us, the same team handles design, development and launch from start to finish. Ask how your feedback will reach the people doing the work before you agree to a scope.

What should be included in the first release?

Include analytics and crash reporting alongside the user flows you need to launch. Tools such as Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics or Sentry show where people leave a task and which devices crash. If users can create an account, Apple and Google Play also require routes to request account deletion.

Will I own the app and can it share data with my website?

You own your code, content and domain, with no lock-in. We can build a shared backend for your app, website and admin tools, so those products use the same underlying service. Discuss the systems you want connected when agreeing the scope, including who holds access to them.

What support is available after launch?

We provide ongoing support for bug fixes, platform updates and new features. Some JavaScript and content fixes can go out over the air, while native code changes and new permissions need a store release. After launch, check retention, task drop-off and the crash-free rate to assess how the app is working.
