Choosing
Should you choose WordPress or a custom website?
WordPress suits a team that publishes often and wants to edit most of the site itself. It offers a large choice of plugins, so discuss the functions you need before choosing which ones to use. Your team will also need to keep the site updated to maintain its security.
A custom-coded site in Next.js suits a business that wants fast pages, tight security and a design without template limits. It can still include an editor for content, although you should expect a developer to handle structural changes. Think about the difference between changing the words on a service page and changing how that page is built.
Your editing routine is a useful starting point. Consider who will publish news, who will change service descriptions and how often the structure itself is likely to change. We recommend a platform after understanding how your team works, so the choice reflects the work you will do after launch.
Market
What website buyers in Kuwait need to show
Your site should give visitors enough detail to take the next step. For a law, accounting or consulting practice, that means clear service pages and partner profiles where prospective clients can check expertise and credentials. A manufacturer or supplier needs capability and product pages, certifications, downloadable specifications and a quote form that asks for useful details.
If you run a clinic or another appointment-based practice, make service information, practitioner profiles and opening hours easy to find, with a booking or call option that works on a phone. A startup has a different priority: explain the product plainly and give visitors a way to join a waitlist or book a demo.
Rules
What your website project in Kuwait has to handle
Arabic is the official language, and English is widely used in business. Where a document has several language versions, the Arabic version is generally the legally binding text. We design Arabic and English pages for a bilingual site; plan who will supply and check each version before the pages are approved.
If you are a CITRA-licensed service provider covered by its data privacy regulation, we set up forms to obtain explicit consent before collecting personal data and provide the terms in Arabic and English. For a .com.kw domain, registration is through a CITRA-accredited registrar; we set up the domain and email as part of handover.
How it runs
How a website project runs with us
We work remotely over video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. IST is 2h30m ahead, so the shared board gives both teams a place to record decisions and keep work moving between conversations.
- 01
Discover
Tell us who buys from you, why they choose you and what you want visitors to do. Those answers shape the sitemap and help us decide what the site needs to say.
- 02
Plan
We use wireframes to establish what belongs on each page and in what order. Your feedback at this stage should focus on content and priorities; colours come later.
- 03
Design
We prepare the sitemap and page designs for desktop and mobile, then refine the designs with your feedback before moving on.
- 04
Build
We develop the site in Next.js or WordPress. The choice reflects how much editing control your team needs and how you expect to manage the site.
- 05
Check and launch
Proofread every page, submit each form and confirm who receives the messages. We then set up the domain, email, analytics and Search Console, and walk your team through the handover.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
A short, organised brief helps us understand what needs to go on the site and who will manage it.
- Brand filesGather your logo in SVG, AI or EPS, along with colours and fonts, or note what still needs creating.
- PrioritiesList your services or products in order of importance, so the home page and navigation lead with the right ones.
- ExamplesPick sites you like and dislike, with a reason for each choice, such as contact details being easy to find.
- Account accessFind the logins for your domain, hosting, email, analytics and Search Console, or identify who holds them.
- Enquiry goalsDecide whether you want quote requests, applications or calls, and who handles each kind of response.
- Proof of workPut case studies, permitted client logos, testimonials, certifications and memberships in a shared folder.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and time of a website project
The work depends on the decisions and material that need to be ready before the site can be built.
Brand readiness
An existing logo and style guide reduce design work compared with deciding the logo, colours and typefaces during the project.
Design approach
An adapted template fits a simple site with a tight brief, while a custom design gives more scope for specific brand, content or audience needs.
Content preparation
Decide who writes service descriptions and gathers team biographies, case studies and photos. Collecting these can take longer than approving a design.
Editing setup
A separate editor paired with a custom front end suits heavy editing, but adds components to host and maintain.
Avoid
Mistakes to avoid during your website project
Leaving real content until the end
Put actual headings and paragraphs into the designs early. Their length can change a layout that looked complete with placeholder text.
Approving only on a large screen
Review every page on a phone too. Check the page as a visitor would, including how easy it is to find the information you need.
Copying every old or competitor page
Choose the pages your visitors need. A shorter site with clear service pages is easier to scan and keep current.
Leaving search setup until launch
Check page titles, the sitemap and any indexing block before the site goes live. An overlooked block can keep the site out of search results.

Questions
Asked by businesses in Kuwait
Page updated 5 November 2026
Is a business website still worth building?
A website is worth considering when it gives visitors a clear route to an enquiry and gives your team a way to measure that activity. Set up analytics to track form submissions, calls and WhatsApp clicks as conversions, then review which pages visitors started from.
How much does it cost to get a website built?
There is no fixed price. The main drivers include the number of distinct page templates, features such as booking or a CRM connection, and the amount of existing content that needs moving and checking. We send a free quote once we have learned about your goals and agreed the scope with you.
Can you use our existing brand for the website?
Yes. We build on your existing logo, colours and fonts, and prepare brand assets for the web where needed. Tell us which assets are ready to use and which still need attention, so the page designs can reflect the material your team already works with.
What is included in a website build?
The work covers the sitemap, page structure, visual design, build, content editor, forms, search setup and launch. We also plan how enquiries are handled: where each form sends its message, who receives quote requests, what the confirmation says and which contact buttons appear on mobile.
Will we own the website after launch?
Yes. You own the domain, content and code. Your business should also hold its domain and hosting accounts and grant access to the people working on the site; that keeps control of those accounts with you when you need to make a change.
What support is available after launch?
We provide ongoing support after launch. You should also decide who on your team will update news, projects and job posts, so those pages remain current. During the project we build a content editor your team can use for these updates without training.
