What’s included in web app & SaaS development

  • Product scoping

Your idea turned into a clear feature list, and agreement on what the first version needs.

  • UX & interface design

Flows and screens for onboarding, dashboards and settings.

  • Full-stack development

Front end, back end, database and APIs in TypeScript.

  • Accounts & billing

Sign-up, login, teams, roles and subscription payments.

  • Admin tools

Internal dashboards to manage users, content and data.

Tools we use: Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Stripe, Vercel.

Choosing

What should you build first?

Start with a web app when people will mainly use your product at a desk or open it from a shared link. A mobile app first is a better fit when the product centres on the camera, location or daily notifications. The choice affects which interactions you design first and where you put your development effort.

For a product serving several customers, decide how their data will be stored early. A shared database is simpler to operate; a separate database for each customer suits enterprise buyers with strict isolation or data-location requirements. Your choice affects how much operational work sits behind each customer account and how easily you can meet those requirements.

Hosting is another trade-off. Managed platforms such as Vercel, Supabase and Firebase reduce setup and server upkeep. Running directly on AWS or Google Cloud gives you more control and can cost less at scale, with more operations work. We build in TypeScript across the application, using a stack such as Next.js, React, Node.js and PostgreSQL.

Market

What buyers in Kuwait expect

If your customers run work through spreadsheets and inboxes, a useful web app gives them shared data, permissions and a history of the work. For online payment through KNET, plan the checkout around its payment portal, which now uses direct card number entry. We set up internal dashboards so your team can manage users and data alongside the customer-facing product.

A firm turning a repeatable service into software needs workflows, client logins and subscriptions. If instant transfers suit your payment process, consider how WAMD payments made through bank apps will fit it. We build subscription payments into the account flow and agree how your team will handle the payment process.

Rules

What the product has to handle

If you are a CITRA-licensed service provider covered by its data privacy regulation, the build needs an explicit consent step before personal data is collected and terms available in Arabic and English. We set up the consent step and the terms in both languages as part of the relevant user flow.

The same regulation requires covered providers to report personal data breaches. Plan the response alongside the product: we set up error tracking and backups before launch, while you decide who will handle a breach report and the information they will need from the product.

How it runs

How a web app project runs with us

We work remotely over video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. India time is 2h30m ahead, so the shared board gives you a place to review progress and leave decisions for the team between calls.

  1. 01

    Agree the first release

we turn your idea into a feature list with you, then decide which features the first version needs. You can use that list to keep decisions focused as the work progresses.

  2. 02

    Design the flows

we prepare screens for onboarding, dashboards and settings. You review how a user moves through those screens and give feedback before the design moves into the build.

  3. 03

    Try each increment

we put build increments on a staging site. You try real tasks there and approve changes before they reach your users, giving you a practical view of how the product works.

  4. 04

    Run a private beta

a small group of target users tries the product before public launch. Their experience helps identify confusing steps and missing features while changes are still cheap.

Checklist

What to have ready before we talk

Bring what you already have, including the decisions that are still open.

  • Your usersdescribe the job they need done, how they do it now and what they would stop using if your product worked.
  • Your pricing modelbring your view on per-seat, usage-based or flat plans; it shapes billing and permissions.
  • Existing assetsgather designs, prototypes, repositories, your domain, hosting and third-party accounts, with admin access.
  • Data constraintsidentify personal or sensitive data, your customers and any enterprise security reviews they will require.
  • Customer workspacesconsider which people need roles within each company and which data must stay separate.
  • Internal capacityidentify the daily work your staff need to keep doing while the product is built.

Cost & time

What affects the cost and timeline

The scope of the product determines the work to design, build, test and maintain it.

  • Billing rules

usage charges, seats, currencies, tax and invoicing each add decisions and cases to test.

  • Live features

collaborative editing, chat and live dashboards need additional infrastructure and testing.

  • Integrations and APIs

connections to other products and a customer-facing API need documentation and support as well as development.

  • Data volume

large imports, exports and reports need background jobs and careful performance work.

Avoid

Mistakes to avoid

  • Leaving customer separation until later

design it into the first version of a multi-customer product to avoid a risky rewrite.

  • Building every account and billing component from scratch

consider proven services for sign-in, billing and permissions before spending the budget on those components.

  • Assuming payment events arrive once and in order

make webhook handlers skip events already processed and avoid depending on their arrival order, so an upgrade is not applied twice.

  • Launching without usage data

track sign-ups, activation steps and feature use from the first release so your team can see what users do.

Questions

Asked by businesses in Kuwait

Page updated 5 November 2026

How much does web application development cost?

There is no fixed price. Enterprise requirements such as single sign-on and audit logs, and subscription rules such as trials and failed-card handling, drive the scope. We send a free quote once the scope is agreed, so you can assess the work against the features and requirements you need.

What is included in the account and onboarding work?

Accounts cover the steps people need to enter and use the product. Sign-up, login, password reset and email verification each have their own emails and edge cases. Onboarding also needs attention: first screens, sample data and empty states help a new user reach the point where the product is useful.

Can you build a first version of my SaaS idea?

Yes. We help you decide what the first version must include, build it and plan what comes next. For a founder launching a SaaS product, that often means a focused release with accounts and billing, on a codebase that has room to grow as the product develops.

Can you take over an existing web application?

Yes. We start by reviewing the code and infrastructure, then fix what matters most. Security work starts from the OWASP Top 10, an awareness document covering common web application risks, including broken access control and injection. The review gives us a basis for deciding where work should start.

Who owns the code and hosting accounts?

You do. You own the code, repositories, hosting accounts and data. That gives you control over the assets your product runs on and the data it holds. Discuss the account and repository handover as part of the project so ownership is clear when the work moves into your hands.

What support is available after launch?

We set up the domain, email and analytics at launch, followed by ongoing support. After release, track activation, retention and churn alongside revenue to see whether users reach value and return. Frameworks, libraries and hosting also need regular security updates, even when you are not planning new features.
