Choosing
Should you build a web app or a mobile app first?
Start with where people will use the product. A web app suits work done at a desk or a product people access through a shared link. A mobile app is a stronger starting point when the camera, location or daily notifications are central to the experience. That choice changes which screens and interactions need attention first, so bring examples of the tasks you expect users to complete.
Hosting is another early choice. A managed platform such as Vercel, Supabase or Firebase reduces setup and server upkeep. Running directly on AWS or Google Cloud gives you more control and can cost less at scale, although it brings more operations work. We discuss these choices alongside your goals, agree the scope with you and refine the desktop and mobile screen designs with your feedback before coding starts.
Local
What Dallas businesses need from a web app
Dallas has financial services, information technology, telecommunications and transportation businesses. A firm turning a repeatable service into software needs its working methods captured as workflows, with client logins and subscriptions. Where a product serves several companies, we plan workspaces, roles and separation of customer data from the start.
The Dallas metropolitan area also has over 41 colleges and universities. An organisation moving work out of spreadsheets and inboxes needs shared data, permissions and a record of activity. For a product welcoming new users, the first screens, sample data and empty states need to show people how to reach something useful.
Rules
What a US web app project has to handle
For a business open to the public, accessibility guidance applies to the goods and services it offers on the web. We design onboarding, dashboard and settings screens with WCAG guidance in view, so accessibility is considered as the interface takes shape.
For subscriptions, US businesses can sign up to accept payments with Stripe. We set up billing using a service such as Stripe Billing where it fits; unusual pricing models or strict data rules can call for a custom build.
How it runs
How a web app project runs with us
We work remotely over video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. In winter, IST is 10h30m ahead of Eastern time and 13h30m ahead of Pacific time; the difference is 1 hour less during daylight saving time. Shared boards keep decisions and feedback visible across the time difference.

Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring your view of the first version; we help decide what it must include and plan what comes next.
- Users and their jobWho will use it, how they do the work today and what they would stop using.
- AlternativesThe competitors or tools users piece together, and what is missing from each.
- PricingYour view on per-seat, usage-based or flat plans, which shapes billing and permissions.
- Existing assetsDesigns, code, domain, hosting and third-party accounts, with admin access.
- Current productAny slow pages or difficult code you already know need attention.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and time involved?
The work spans the interface, server, database and APIs; the features you need across them shape the scope.
Roles and permissions
Customer-managed teams and invitations add rules to design and test.
Real-time features
Collaborative editing, live dashboards and chat need extra infrastructure and testing.
Integrations and APIs
Connections to other products and a public API bring documentation and support work.
Large data sets
Imports, exports and reports need background jobs and careful performance work.
Avoid
Mistakes to avoid when building a SaaS product
Building every account and billing component from scratch
Consider proven services first, so more of the budget goes towards the product itself.
Leaving customer data separation until later
Design it into the first version to avoid a risky rewrite.
Treating payment events as orderly and unique
Make webhook handlers skip events already processed and work without depending on arrival order.
Releasing without staging or tested backups
Use a staging environment and test backups before mistakes become live incidents.
Questions
Asked by businesses in Dallas
Page updated 5 November 2026
How much will a web application cost?
There is no fixed price. Usage-based billing, several currencies and tax handling each add work to the subscription design. We agree a feature list and what the first version needs, then send you a free quote based on that scope.
Should each customer have a separate database?
A shared database is simpler to run; a separate database for each customer suits enterprise buyers with strict isolation or data-location requirements. Your expected customers and their requirements should guide that decision before the data design is settled.
Can you take over an existing application?
Yes. We start by reviewing the code and infrastructure, then fix what matters most. For security work, we start from the OWASP Top 10, an awareness document covering common web application risks such as broken access control and injection.
What account and admin features are included?
Accounts cover sign-up, login, password reset and email verification, with their associated emails and edge cases. Admin tools give your team a way to manage users, adjust plans, inspect an account for support and switch features on or off without changing code.
Who owns the code and hosting accounts?
You own the code, repositories, hosting accounts and data. The hosting setup also needs a deployment pipeline, a staging copy, error tracking, backups and transactional email configured to reach inboxes. Your ownership includes the accounts holding the product and its data.
What support is available after launch?
We set up the domain, email and analytics at launch, followed by ongoing support. Frameworks, libraries and hosting need regular security updates even when you are not planning features. Track activation, retention and churn alongside revenue to see whether users reach value and return.
