Web application development for businesses in the United States
Get a web application shaped around the work your users need to do. For a SaaS product in the United States, we can scope and build a first version with accounts and subscription billing, then plan what comes next. You work with the same team for design, development and launch, so decisions made during scoping carry through to the finished product.

Choosing
What should you build first?
Start with a web app when people will use the product at a desk or share it through a link. A mobile app first is a better fit when the core task depends on a camera, location or daily notifications. The choice changes which interactions you design and build first, so it helps to describe the user's main task before settling on a platform. We turn that task into a feature list and agree what belongs in the first version.
For hosting, a managed platform such as Vercel, Supabase or Firebase reduces setup and server upkeep. Running directly on AWS or Google Cloud gives you more control and can cost less at scale, though it brings more operations work. The right choice depends on how much control your product needs and how much infrastructure work you want to take on.
Customer data is another early decision. A shared database is simpler to run, while a separate database for each customer suits enterprise buyers with strict isolation or data-location requirements. Choosing that structure early gives the rest of the build a clearer foundation.
Market
What US buyers expect from subscription software
If you are turning a repeatable service into software, your customers need workflows that reflect your know-how, along with client logins and subscriptions. An established business launching a digital product may also need the build to move forward without drawing its staff away from daily work.
For a paid product, we set up subscription payments alongside sign-up, login, teams and roles. Stripe supports businesses in the United States, and a service such as Stripe Billing removes a substantial amount of billing edge-case work. Your plans and the way customers use their accounts still need to be defined as part of the product.
Rules
What a web app in the United States has to handle
If your app offers goods or services from a business open to the public, accessibility affects the screen design. US Department of Justice guidance says ADA Title III covers those web offerings and identifies WCAG as helpful guidance. We design onboarding, dashboard and settings screens using that guidance, so accessibility is considered when those flows are being shaped.
How it runs
How a web application development project runs with us
We are a studio in India and work remotely over video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. In winter, India is 10h30m ahead of Eastern time and 13h30m ahead of Pacific time. Shared boards keep tasks and feedback available across that difference.
- 01
Scope
We turn your idea into a feature list. You help us agree what the first version needs before the build starts.
- 02
Design
We design onboarding, dashboard and settings flows. You review the screens and discuss how people will complete their tasks.
- 03
Build
Each increment goes to a staging site. You try real tasks and approve changes before they reach your users.
- 04
Prepare for launch
We set up deployment, error tracking and backups before the product goes live.
- 05
Existing product
If you already have a codebase, we begin by reviewing the code and infrastructure, then address the most pressing issues.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring what you know about the product and its users; we can use it to shape the discussion.
- PricingYour view on per-seat, usage-based or flat plans, since it shapes billing and permissions.
- Existing assetsDesigns, prototypes, code repositories, domain, hosting and third-party accounts, with admin access.
- Data constraintsThe personal or sensitive data you expect to hold and any security reviews customers will require.
- Current problemsIf a first version is struggling, identify slow pages and code your team finds difficult to change.
- Admin workConsider who needs to manage users, adjust plans and answer account support questions.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timeline of web application development
The scope changes the amount of design, build and testing work involved.
Roles and permissions
More rules add work, particularly when customers invite users and manage their own teams.
Real-time features
Collaborative editing, chat and live dashboards need additional infrastructure and testing.
Integrations and APIs
Connections to other products and a public API also need documentation and ongoing support.
Large data sets
Imports, exports and reports need background jobs and careful performance work.
Avoid
Mistakes to avoid with web application development
Leaving data separation until later
Design it into a multi-customer product from the first version to avoid a risky rewrite.
Treating every payment event as new
Handlers should skip events already processed and avoid depending on their arrival order, so an upgrade or order is not applied twice.
Releasing without a staging environment or tested backups
Use both so a release or mistake does not immediately become a live incident.

What will my web app cost?
There is no fixed price. Enterprise requirements such as single sign-on and audit logs affect the work, as does choosing to build sign-in or billing from scratch. The scope of the front end, back end, database and APIs also shapes the work, so agree the feature list before comparing quotes.
What does account setup include?
Accounts cover more than a login screen. Sign-up, password reset and email verification each need their own emails and edge cases; social sign-in or two-factor authentication may also be part of the product. For software serving several companies, workspaces and roles need strict separation of customer data.
What needs to be decided for subscription billing?
You need to define how plans behave throughout the customer's subscription. That includes trials, upgrades, downgrades, invoices and tax, as well as what happens when a card payment fails. Those decisions give the billing flow rules to follow when a customer changes plans or a payment does not go through.
Can you take over an existing application?
Yes. We start by reviewing the code and infrastructure, then fix what matters most. That gives us a way to address the existing product before adding more features, and helps you understand where the work needs to begin.
Who owns the code and accounts?
You do. You own the code, repositories, hosting accounts and data. That gives you control over the product's underlying assets as well as its application code, so ownership does not depend on keeping the build with the original developer.
What happens after the app launches?
We set up the domain, email and analytics at launch, followed by ongoing support. Frameworks, libraries and hosting need regular security updates even when you are not adding features. Track activation, retention and churn alongside revenue to see if users reach value and keep returning.
