Choosing
Should you focus on local SEO, content or paid search?
Start with how your customers search. Local SEO suits a business whose customers look for a provider nearby. Content-led SEO suits buyers who research their options before getting in touch. A service business often needs both: a useful local presence for people ready to enquire and pages that answer questions earlier in the decision.
Paid search is another option. It gives you visibility while the budget runs, and that visibility stops when the budget ends. SEO builds gradually and keeps working. If you already run ads, their search terms can help you decide which subjects deserve organic pages. Your choice affects the work: a local profile needs different attention from a set of research-led guides.
For local results, Google points to relevance, distance and how well known a business is. No provider can request or pay Google for a better local ranking. Focus your decision on the customers you want to reach and the work a provider proposes to do, rather than a promised position.
Local
What Nevada businesses need from SEO
Tourism is Nevada’s largest employer, and mining remains a substantial sector. Tourism businesses serving customers locally need a complete Google Business Profile, genuine reviews and clear service pages. Mining suppliers selling to other businesses have a different task: answer buyer questions throughout a longer sales process and give those buyers case studies they can share internally.
Food processing is among the state’s industrial outputs. A food-processing business selling through an online store needs category pages that are easy to understand, original product descriptions and complete product data. Control over filter URLs is part of the work too, so the store’s structure remains manageable for search.
How it runs
How an SEO project runs with us
We work remotely from India over video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. In winter, India is 10h30m to 13h30m ahead of the mainland US. The shared board gives you a place to review work and leave answers between calls, so the project does not depend on everyone being online at once.
- 01
Baseline
We record organic traffic, enquiries, indexed pages and the searches your site already appears for before changes begin. This gives you a reference point for later reports.
- 02
Audit access
Give us read access to Search Console for the audit. Google suggests holding back write access at that stage.
- 03
Scope and build
We learn about your business and audience, agree the scope with you, and refine page designs with your feedback before code. We test the build on real devices and browsers, then handle launch setup and ongoing support.
- 04
Content review
You check new and rewritten pages for accuracy, supply photos and examples, and answer questions that need your business’s own expertise.
- 05
Reporting
We report monthly on rankings, traffic and enquiries using Search Console and analytics. You can use that report to discuss what to work on next.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring what you have from this list so we can agree a useful scope.
- Your service priorities, including work with spare capacity or good margins and enquiries you want fewer of.
- The areas you actually serve and the words customers use for your services.
- Project photos, case studies, reviews, credentials and short bios that pages could use as evidence.
- Previous providers, bought links, old domains, redesigns or migrations and any traffic drops you noticed.
- How enquiries arrive now, and whether anyone records where each lead came from.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and time involved?
The scope determines how much work is needed and what needs attention first.
Platform limits
If your platform blocks title edits, structured data or slow-template fixes, rebuilding can take less effort than working around it.
Past problems
Bought links, thin pages, hacked content or a manual action can require clean-up before growth work starts.
Content planning
Guides and service pages need to be planned around what your buyers search for.
Local coverage
Places you serve need attention across your Business Profile, citations and location pages.
Avoid
Mistakes to avoid with SEO
Near-identical location pages
Avoid pages that only swap the place name and funnel visitors to another page. Give each location page something specific to say.
Bulk AI pages
Avoid generating large numbers of pages without adding anything for readers. Google lists that practice as scaled content abuse.
Review incentives
Do not offer gifts or discounts for Google reviews, or ask only happy customers. Request genuine reviews without those conditions.
Keyword-stuffed profile names
Use the business name customers see on your website, invoices and signage. Leave extra keywords and taglines out of the Business Profile name.

What does an SEO company do?
An SEO company identifies search problems and works on the pages and technical issues that hold a site back. We start with an audit ordered by impact, then address titles, headings, internal links and structured data on priority pages. The work also includes code fixes for speed, indexing, redirects and crawling.
How much does an SEO company cost?
There is no fixed price. The main drivers include the strength and number of competitors, the number of service areas and branches, and how much content needs to be improved or newly produced. Once we have agreed the scope, ask us for a quote based on the work involved.
How should I compare SEO providers?
Ask each provider what they will change, why they recommend it and how they will measure success. Be cautious if a firm is secretive about its methods or promises first place. Search changes are gradual and depend on competition, content and your site’s history; nobody can promise a top ranking.
Who owns my website and Business Profile?
You own your domain, content and code, with no lock-in. You should also own your Google Business Profile and add your provider as a manager. A manager can edit the profile, but cannot add or remove users or delete it, so ownership stays with your business.
How will I know if the work is helping?
Look at enquiries and sales from organic search, with rankings and traffic as supporting signs. Search Console’s Performance report shows clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position by query and page. A report limited to rankings for hand-picked keywords leaves out too much of what is happening.
Do I need a separate package for AI search?
Look closely at what a separate package proposes to change. Google says no special markup, AI text files or extra optimisation is needed to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode. Also ask about link practices: buying or selling links for ranking purposes is listed as link spam.
