Choosing
Which approach to SEO fits your business?
Choose local SEO when customers search for a provider nearby. A content-led approach fits buyers who research a service before making contact. Many service businesses need both; the balance should follow how their customers search. Local work asks for attention to the places you serve, while content-led work calls for useful pages that answer buyers’ questions.
Paid search is a separate choice. It provides visibility while you fund it and stops when the budget ends; SEO builds gradually and keeps working. Search terms from your campaigns can help identify subjects worth targeting in organic search. That gives you a way to use what you learn from ads when deciding what to cover on your site.
Check what is included in any proposed AI-search package. Google says appearing in AI Overviews or AI Mode does not require special markup, AI text files or extra optimisation. Ask a provider to explain the work they propose, so you can judge the effort involved against the changes your site actually needs.
Local
What different businesses need from search
Your customers’ route to a decision should shape the pages and profiles you work on. For businesses serving particular places in the United States, we work on the Google Business Profile, citations and location pages for the areas actually served. Each location page needs a clear connection to the service available there.
Trades, clinics, salons and repair firms need a complete Business Profile, genuine reviews and a clear page for each service. Someone looking for a repair, for example, should be able to identify the service on the site without having to infer it from a general description of the business.
Accountants, consultants and law practices have a different task: buyers may research their options before calling. Named people, evidence of past work and pages that show relevant expertise give those buyers material to consider as they compare providers.
An online store needs clear category structure, original product copy, complete product data and control over filter URLs. A business whose traffic fell after a redesign needs a different investigation: trace missing pages, redirects and internal links before deciding what to repair.
How it runs
How an SEO services project runs with us
We work remotely over video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. India is ahead of mainland US time, and the difference changes with daylight saving time in most places. The shared board gives us a place to keep work and feedback visible across that difference.
- 01
Audit
We identify what holds the site back and put the findings in order of impact. Give us read access to Search Console for this stage; Google suggests holding back write access during an audit.
- 02
Baseline
We record organic traffic, enquiries, indexed pages and the searches your site already appears for before changes begin. This gives you a point of comparison for the work that follows.
- 03
Pages
You review new and rewritten pages for accuracy, supply photos and examples, and answer questions about your work. Your knowledge gives the content its substance.
- 04
Technical work
We fix speed, indexing, redirect and crawl problems in the site’s code alongside the content and local work. The audit helps establish which problems to tackle.
- 05
Reporting
We report on rankings, traffic and enquiries each month using Search Console and analytics. You can use the report to see what has changed across those measures.

Cost & time
What affects the cost and effort of SEO services
The scope follows the amount of work your site and market require.
Competition
The strength and number of businesses pursuing the same searches shape the content and reputation work needed.
Service areas and branches
Each adds profile work, citations and a location page with something specific to say.
Content production
Improving existing pages is lighter work than planning and producing a new set of service pages and guides.
Search topics
Research groups searches by intent and assigns a main topic to each page, so the pages needed follow what buyers search for.
Avoid
Mistakes to avoid with SEO services
Buying links
Avoid link schemes and paid links intended to influence rankings; Google lists those practices as link spam.
Publishing pages at scale without value
Avoid generating large numbers of AI-written pages that add nothing for readers. Google lists this as scaled content abuse.
Changing your profile name for keywords
Use the business name customers see on your website, invoices and signage, without unnecessary taglines.
Rewarding reviews
Do not offer gifts or discounts for Google reviews, or ask only happy customers to leave them. Google prohibits both practices.

What does an SEO company do?
An SEO company investigates search problems and works on the pages and technical details that affect a site’s visibility. We plan guides and service pages around what buyers search for, and build lean pages with optimised images, clean structure, metadata and structured data. The work selected for your site follows what the investigation finds.
How much does an SEO company cost?
There is no fixed price. The work can include clearing up bought links, thin pages or hacked content; it may also depend on whether your platform allows basic changes and how much effort relevant mentions require. If the platform blocks title edits, structured data or slow-template fixes, a rebuild can take less effort than working around it.
How should I compare SEO providers?
Ask each provider what they will change, why they recommend it and how they will measure success. Request an explanation you can follow before agreeing to the work. Google advises caution with firms that keep their methods secret or promise first place in search results, so treat those claims as reasons to ask further questions.
Will I keep ownership of my website and Business Profile?
Yes. You own your domain, content and code, with no lock-in. Your business should also own its Google Business Profile and add the provider as a manager. A manager can edit the profile but cannot add or remove users or delete it, so ownership remains with your business.
How should I judge SEO results?
Look at enquiries and sales from organic search, with rankings and traffic as supporting signs. Search Console’s Performance report shows clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position by query and page. A report restricted to rankings for hand-picked keywords leaves out information you need to understand what is happening.
When will I see a change in search results?
Expect gradual change; the outcome depends on competition, your content and the site’s history. No one can promise a top ranking, according to Google. Treat a promised position as a warning sign, and ask the provider to explain the work they intend to carry out on your site.
