Choosing
Should you build a cross-platform or native app?
For an app built around accounts, forms, bookings, payments or content, a cross-platform build is often a practical choice. We usually use React Native, sharing a codebase across iOS and Android and adding native modules where a feature needs them. It uses each platform’s own interface components, and web developers can contribute JavaScript or TypeScript skills. Some logic can also be shared with a React website.
Flutter is another cross-platform option. It uses Dart and draws its own interface, which suits a heavily branded design where you want screens to look identical across platforms. Your team needs to be comfortable working in Dart afterwards.
Native development suits deep device features, heavy graphics, complex background work or access to new platform features at launch. The trade-off is separate Swift and Kotlin codebases to build and maintain. We help you decide by looking at the features the app needs and the work your team will maintain after release.
Local
What Vadodara organisations need from an app
Vadodara makes power equipment, rail coaches and defence aircraft. If your manufacturing business has delivery, maintenance or inspection teams, an app can give staff job forms, photos, signatures and location details, then sync their work to the office when signal returns.
Pharmaceutical businesses in Vadodara that need customer accounts and records also need a way for staff to manage them. An admin panel can let staff look up customers, edit content and handle account issues without calling a developer.
The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda is another local organisation with people using digital services. Where frequent users already have a web platform, an app can reuse its accounts, data and backend instead of asking people to start again.
Rules
What an app project in India has to handle
For physical goods and services, we can set up a checkout that offers UPI payments. The checkout needs a different route for digital goods or subscriptions sold inside an Android app: Google Play billing is required for those purchases, while it must not be used for physical goods or services. We set up the payment flow around what you sell, so the store billing choice matches the purchase.
How it runs
How a mobile app project runs with us
We work remotely from India using video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. At MSH Technologies, the work moves through discovery, design, build and launch, with your feedback shaping the scope and screens.
- 01
Discover
Tell us about your business, audience and goals. We use that discussion to agree what belongs in the project.
- 02
Design
We prepare iOS and Android screens and refine them with your feedback before writing code. You can review the flows while changes are still straightforward.
- 03
Test the prototype
Put the clickable design in front of a few customers or staff. Their feedback can expose a confusing screen before it is built.
- 04
Try the build
We share test builds for your own phone through TestFlight or Google Play testing tracks. Use them as your customers or staff would, then tell us what needs attention.
- 05
Release
We handle the store listings, submission and review under your developer accounts. You retain access to the accounts used for your app.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring the details that help us agree the first release and spot connections to your existing systems.
- List what users must do, in the order they will do it.
- Note your website, CRM, booking system and payment provider, their APIs and who holds admin access.
- Prepare a privacy policy that matches the data the app collects; Apple requires links in the listing and app.
- Check the closed-testing requirement if you are creating a personal Google Play developer account.
- Decide what you want to learn from screen use, drop-offs and crashes in the first release.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timeline?
The scope determines how much design, development and testing the app needs.
User roles
Customers, drivers and staff each need their own screens and permissions.
Existing systems
A documented backend API saves work; a new backend and admin panel add a substantial build.
Connections
Payment gateways, maps, booking systems and hardware each need setup, testing and failure handling.
Screen variations
Custom animation, languages, right-to-left scripts and tablet layouts add design and testing across screens.
User content
Posts and other user-generated material need filtering, reporting, blocking and published contact details.
Questions

Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does it cost to have an app developed?
There is no fixed price. The work depends on the backend and admin tools, the notification rules, and how much offline editing and syncing users need. We send a free quote once the scope is agreed, so you can see what is included before deciding how to proceed.
How do I choose an app development company?
Choose a team that can explain what users will gain from installing the app and how they will reach that value. Ask to review the proposed first-use flow. Apple’s guidelines expect more than a website wrapped in an app, and apps without significant account features should allow use without login.
What is included if users can create accounts?
Account creation needs a deletion route as well. Apple requires people to be able to start deleting their account inside the app. Google Play also requires an in-app path to delete the account and associated data, plus a web link where people can request deletion. We include those routes in the build.
Will I own the app and its code?
Yes. You own your code, content and domain, with no lock-in. Keep the developer accounts, signing access and code repository in your business’s name too. That makes it easier to move the app later if you change who maintains it.
What happens after the app launches?
We provide ongoing support for bug fixes, operating-system updates and new features. Plan maintenance releases as part of running the app: Google Play requires apps and updates to target a recent Android API level, and outdated apps can become unavailable to new users on newer devices.
