App developers Denver businesses can work with
Get an app with screens designed for iOS and Android, accounts and data behind them, and a store listing ready for submission. If you are comparing app developers for a Denver business, we can help you decide what belongs in the first release and what your staff need to manage it. As MSH Technologies, we are a web, app and AI studio in India, working with you from design through launch.

What you get
What’s included in mobile app development
App design
Screens and flows designed for iOS and Android conventions.
Cross-platform build
One React Native codebase for both platforms, with native modules where needed.
Backend & APIs
Accounts, data, notifications and admin tools behind the app.
Push notifications
Timely, targeted notifications that bring people back.
Payments & subscriptions
In-app purchases and subscriptions on both stores.
Store launch
App Store and Google Play listings, submission and release.
Tools we use: React Native, Expo, Swift, Kotlin, Firebase, Node.js.
Choosing
Should you choose cross-platform, native or a web app?
We usually build with React Native. It uses one codebase for iOS and Android, with native modules where a feature needs them. Its JavaScript or TypeScript code renders each platform’s own interface components, so web developers can contribute and some logic can be shared with a React website. That is a useful choice when you want an app on both platforms without maintaining separate native codebases.
Native development fits an app that needs deep device features, heavy graphics, complex background work or new platform features at launch. The trade-off is separate Swift and Kotlin codebases to build and maintain. Flutter is another cross-platform option: it draws its own interface and suits heavily branded screens, provided the people maintaining it are willing to work in Dart.
A progressive web app is worth considering for a staff tool. It skips store review, though it needs packaging to appear in app stores, and on iPhone it can request notification permission only after being added to the Home Screen. We start by learning your goals and audience, then agree a scope that gives us a basis for choosing an approach.
Local
What Denver organisations need from an app
Denver’s energy and mining businesses may have staff carrying out inspections away from a reliable signal. An app for those jobs needs forms, photos, signatures and location details that sync to the office when a connection returns. The office needs access to those records too.
For Denver distribution businesses, the phone screen is only part of the work. Staff also need a way to look up customers and manage records without calling a developer, supported by a backend that stores accounts and data.
Denver’s federal institutions and research organisations may already provide a web platform. Where people use that platform frequently, an app can reuse its accounts, data and backend instead of creating a separate set for mobile users.
Rules
What a United States app project has to handle
If you are commissioning an app for a state or local government, accessibility changes the screen design and review work. The US government’s Title II rule requires those organisations’ mobile apps to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We set up the app’s screen designs with that target in view and check the screens against it as part of the work, so accessibility is considered while the interface is being made.
How it runs
How a mobile app project runs with us
We work remotely through video calls, WhatsApp and a shared project board. India is 10h30m (Eastern) to 13h30m (Pacific) ahead of the mainland US in winter. The shared board gives you a place to leave feedback and see the work between calls, so decisions do not all need a live meeting.

Design
We create screens for iOS and Android and refine them with your feedback before writing code. You can check that the proposed flow reflects how your customers or staff actually work.
- 02
Prototype
Put the clickable design in front of a few real customers or staff. Their feedback gives us a chance to change a screen before it has been built.
- 03
Build
We can create a shared backend for your app, website and admin tools. You help identify the accounts and data that need to be available across them.
- 04
Measure
We include analytics and crash reporting in the first release. You can use the reports to see where people leave a flow and which devices have crashes.
- 05
Launch
We handle the store listings, submission and review under your developer accounts. You retain control of the accounts used for the release.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring the information that will help us define the first release and its connections.
- List what users must do, in the order they will do it.
- Note the website, CRM, booking, ERP and payment systems involved, plus their APIs and who holds admin access.
- Start Apple and Google developer accounts in your company’s name; organisation accounts need a D-U-N-S number.
- Plan a closed test before production if you use a new personal Google Play developer account.
- For an app with login, prepare a working demo account and live backend for Apple’s submission review.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timeline of an app?
The scope determines how much design, backend work and testing the project needs.
User roles
Customers, drivers and staff each need their own screens and permissions, even when they share a backend.
Live features
Tracking, chat and presence need persistent connections and more backend work than screens that load data on request.
Integrations
Each payment gateway, booking system or device connection adds setup, testing and failure handling.
Interface variations
Custom animation, additional languages, right-to-left scripts and tablet layouts add design and testing across screens.
Avoid
Mistakes to avoid when building an app
Wrapping a website in an app shell
Give people a reason to install the app. Apple’s guidelines expect more than a repackaged site.
Demanding sign-up too soon
Let people see useful parts of the app before creating an account when those features do not require one.
Asking for notifications at first launch
Request permission when the benefit is clear, such as after an order.
Adding an analytics or advertising SDK without updating privacy answers: Include data collected by third-party SDKs in Google Play’s Data safety form.
Questions
Asked by businesses in Denver
Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does it cost to develop an app?
There is no fixed price: the scope drives the cost. Offline editing and later synchronisation add more work than showing the last loaded data, while user-generated content needs moderation features such as reporting and blocking. We agree what the first release needs before discussing a quote.
How do I choose an app development company?
Choose a team that can explain its platform choice and how it will assess the app after release. Ask how it will track people returning to the app, where they leave the main task and the crash-free rate. Those measures give you useful information for deciding what to fix or change.
What is included in the app build?
The work can include in-app purchases and subscriptions as well as the screens and supporting systems. If people can create an account, plan its deletion flow too: Google Play requires an in-app route to delete the account and associated data, plus a web link for deletion requests.
Can my app use the same backend as my website?
Yes. We can build a backend that serves your app, website and admin tools, keeping customer accounts and data in one place. Tell us which existing systems your staff use and who has access to them, so the shared setup can be discussed when the scope is agreed.
Will I own the app and its developer accounts?
You own your code, content and domain, with no lock-in. We handle store listings, submission and review under your own developer accounts. That gives you control of the accounts used to publish the app, alongside ownership of the code and content we build for you.
What support is available after launch?
Ongoing support covers bug fixes, updates for new iOS and Android versions, and new features. Some JavaScript and content fixes can be sent through an over-the-air tool such as Expo EAS Update; native code changes, new permissions and Expo SDK upgrades still need a store release.
