Choosing
Should you build a cross-platform or native app?
We usually use React Native for an app on iOS and Android. It shares a codebase across the platforms, while native modules cover features that need them. It uses JavaScript or TypeScript and renders each platform’s own interface components, so web developers can contribute and some logic can be shared with a React website.
Native development is a better fit when the product depends on deep device features, heavy graphics, complex background work or new platform features at launch. You have a separate codebase for each platform to build and maintain. That gives the project a different workload from a shared-codebase app, so the device features you need should be clear before choosing.
A progressive web app is another option for a staff tool. It skips store review, though it will not appear in the stores unless it is packaged for them. On iPhone, it can ask to send notifications only after someone adds it to their Home Screen. If you already have a website, consider what an installed app will add: a repackaged site risks rejection by Apple.

What Coimbatore’s businesses need from an app
Engineering and textiles are primary industries in Coimbatore. If your manufacturing business sends people out for maintenance or inspection, an app can give them job forms, photos, signatures and location records. Plan for those records to sync back to the office when signal returns, especially if staff need to complete a job before they reconnect.
Coimbatore also has education and healthcare organisations. If your organisation already has a web platform that people use frequently, an app can reuse its accounts and data. Start with the task people return to most often and consider how it should work on a phone, while keeping the app and website connected to the same backend.
Rules
What an app project in India needs to handle
The checkout depends on what you sell. UPI supports person-to-merchant payments, so we set up a UPI payment option for physical goods or services used outside the app. For digital content, features or subscriptions used in the app, Apple and Google Play generally require their in-app purchase or billing systems; we set up the store purchase or subscription accordingly. Some storefronts or regions allow outside payment options or alternative billing.
How it runs
How a mobile app project runs with us
We work with you remotely from India, using video calls, WhatsApp and a shared project board. You speak directly to the people designing and building your product.
- 01
Discover
We learn about your business, audience and goals with you, then agree the scope. This gives everyone a clear view of what the app needs to do.
- 02
Design
We design the iOS and Android screens and refine them with your feedback before writing code. Tell us where a flow does not match how your customers or staff work.
- 03
Prototype
Put the clickable screens in front of a few customers or staff and watch where they hesitate. A screen is cheaper to change at this stage than after it is built.
- 04
Test
We send test builds to your phone through TestFlight or Google Play testing tracks. Use the app for real tasks and share what needs attention.
- 05
Launch
If the app has a login, prepare a working demo account and live backend for Apple’s review. Leave room to fix a submission issue and send it again.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring a short list of the tasks people need to complete in the first release, in the order they will do them.
- Developer accountsRegister Apple and Google accounts in your company’s name; organisation verification needs a D-U-N-S number.
- TestersNew personal Google Play accounts need a closed test with opted-in testers before production release.
- Privacy policyPrepare one that matches the data the app collects, for the Apple listing and the app itself.
- AccessKeep developer accounts, signing access and the code repository in your business’s name.
- Privacy detailsList the data collected by third-party SDKs for Google Play’s Data safety form.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timeline of app development
Custom animation, extra languages and tablet layouts add design and testing across screens.
User roles
Customers, drivers and staff each need their own screens and permissions, even when they share a backend.
Integrations
A payment gateway, booking system or hardware connection needs setup, testing and handling for failures.
Offline work
Showing previously loaded data takes less work than allowing edits offline and resolving conflicts when records sync.
Backend
A documented API can reduce the work; a new backend and admin panel can be as large a job as the app itself.
Questions
Asked by businesses in Coimbatore
Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does it cost to develop an app?
There is no fixed price. Live tracking or chat adds persistent connections and backend work, while sharing a backend with your website and admin tools changes what needs to be built. We agree the scope with you before preparing a quote, so it reflects the product you need.
How do I choose an app development company?
Ask how the team will measure use and diagnose problems after release. Analytics and crash reporting in the first release can show where people give up and which devices crash. Ask to see how retention, task drop-off and the crash-free rate will be reviewed, not just the download count.
What should an app with customer accounts include?
It needs an account deletion path as well as a login. Apple requires people who create an account to be able to start deleting it inside the app. Google Play also requires an in-app deletion path for the account and associated data, plus a web link for deletion requests.
Who owns the app and store accounts?
You own your code, content and domain, with no lock-in. We handle the store listings, submission and review under your own developer accounts. That gives you direct control of the accounts used to publish the app, alongside ownership of the code and content.
What support is available after launch?
Launch is followed by ongoing support for bug fixes, operating system updates and new features. Some JavaScript and content fixes can go out through an over-the-air tool such as Expo EAS Update. Native code changes, new permissions and Expo SDK upgrades still need a store release.
