Choosing
Should you choose a cross-platform or native app?
We usually build with React Native. It shares a codebase across iOS and Android while using each platform’s own interface components, and we add native modules when a feature needs them. Some logic can also be shared with a React web app, which is useful if your existing product already uses it.
Native development suits an app that depends on deep device features, heavy graphics, complex background work or new platform features at launch. You would have separate Swift and Kotlin codebases to build and maintain. Flutter is another option for a heavily branded interface: it draws its own screens, though your development team needs to work in Dart.
A progressive web app is worth considering for a staff tool. It skips store review, but it does not appear in the app stores unless packaged for them. On iPhone, notification permission is available only after it has been added to the Home Screen. We help you weigh those limits against the device features your app needs.
Local
What Bathinda organisations need from an app
Bathinda has fertiliser and cement plants, where a field team’s app could collect job forms, photos, signatures and locations. Staff need that information to reach the office when a signal returns. The scope should distinguish between showing information already loaded and creating or editing records without a connection.
Bathinda is also home to universities and AIIMS Bathinda. If an organisation already has a web platform that people use frequently, an app can reuse the same accounts and data. We build a shared backend for the app, website and admin tools, giving staff a place to manage information without maintaining separate customer records.
Rules
What an app project in India has to handle
Your checkout needs to match what you sell. For digital content, features and subscriptions used inside the app, Apple requires in-app purchase. Physical goods and services used outside the app need another payment method, such as a card gateway. We set up the appropriate purchase or checkout flow. If you want customers to use UPI for a physical purchase, include that in the checkout requirements when we agree the scope.
How it runs
How a mobile app project runs with us
At MSH Technologies, we work remotely from India using video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. You can review the work and share feedback without travelling to meet us.
- 01
Discover
We learn about your business, audience and goals, then agree the scope with you. Bring the main task you want someone to complete in the app.
- 02
Design
We prepare iOS and Android screens and refine them with your feedback before writing code. You can check the flow and point out gaps.
- 03
Build and review
We share test builds through TestFlight or Google Play testing tracks. You try the app on your own phone and tell us what needs attention.
- 04
Test
We test on real devices and browsers. You review the work as it progresses, so the agreed scope and your feedback guide what reaches launch.
- 05
Submit
We handle store listings, submission and review under your own developer accounts. You provide access to those accounts so the release remains associated with your business.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
These details give us a practical starting point for the scope and store submission.
- A short list of first-release tasks, in the order users will complete them.
- Apple and Google developer accounts in your company’s name, plus a D-U-N-S number for organisation verification.
- A plan for the closed test required for a new personal Google Play account, including at least 12 opted-in testers.
- A privacy policy that reflects what the app collects, for its Apple listing and the app itself.
- Details of any analytics or advertising SDKs, so the Google Play Data safety answers cover their data collection.
- For an app with login, a working demo account and live backend for Apple’s submission review.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and time of development
The work changes with the flows, systems and testing your app needs.
Existing systems
A documented API on an existing backend saves work compared with building the backend and admin panel from scratch.
Live features
Tracking, chat and presence need persistent connections and more backend work than screens that load data on request.
Interface requirements
Custom animation, several languages or tablet layouts add design and testing across screens.
User content
Posts or other user-generated material need filtering, reporting, user blocking and published contact details for Apple’s requirements.
Questions
Asked by businesses in Bathinda
Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does it cost to develop an app?
There is no fixed price. Cost depends on the user roles and the offline work involved: customers, drivers and staff each need their own screens and permissions, while editing offline requires syncing and conflict handling. We discuss a quote once we have agreed the scope with you.
Which company should I choose for app development?
Choose a developer who can explain why the proposed app deserves a place on someone’s phone. Apple expects more than a repackaged website, and an app shell around an existing site risks rejection. Ask how the proposed features will help users complete a task.
What should be included in the first release?
Include the app, its backend and the admin tools staff need to manage it. The admin panel can give staff a way to look up customers, issue refunds and block abusive accounts. Add analytics and crash reporting from the first release so you can see screen use and device crashes.
Who owns the app and its accounts?
You own your code, content and domain, with no lock-in. Keep developer accounts, signing access and code repositories in your business’s name as well. Accounts held in an agency’s or freelancer’s name make the app harder to move if you change development partners.
What support is available after launch?
We provide ongoing support for bug fixes, operating-system updates and new features. Some JavaScript and content fixes can be sent over the air, while native code changes and new permissions still need a store release. Track returning users and the crash-free rate to judge how the app is working.
