Choosing
Should you refresh the site or rebuild it?
A visual refresh suits a site whose content and structure still work. You keep the existing platform and page addresses while updating the design. That usually means less search risk than a rebuild because the URLs stay in place, and your team can continue using the editor it already knows.
A platform move is worth considering when the current system holds you back through slow performance, plugins or editing limits. A full structural rebuild suits a site whose content no longer reflects the business. It gives you a chance to reorganise the pages, but changed URLs need a complete redirect plan.
For a large site, a phased redesign offers another route. Start with the pages that bring the most enquiries, then work through the rest. You avoid a single large switchover, although you will have two designs running side by side for a while. We help you weigh that trade-off against the amount of change your site needs.
Market
What do website visitors in Oman expect?
Arabic is the official language, while English is widely used in business and higher education, though less so outside Muscat. Think about which audiences need each version of your site. We plan the page templates around that choice and carry over or deliberately improve the existing page titles and headings.
An established company whose services or clients have changed needs its website to reflect that change while retaining the search traffic it has already earned. For your redesign, that means identifying the existing pages that still represent the business and deciding how they fit the updated site.
Rules
What does a redesign in Oman need to handle?
If your site collects sign-ups for advertising or marketing, the build needs a way to obtain written consent before you send that material. We set up a written-consent field in the sign-up flow and plan where the consent record will be kept, so the form has a clear purpose and the response can be retained.
Forms collecting health or biometric data need particular attention: processing sensitive personal data requires a permit. We identify those fields during the redesign and plan their handling around the permit requirement before moving the forms to the new site.
How it runs
How a website redesign project runs with us
We are a studio in India and work with you remotely over video calls, WhatsApp and a shared project board. IST is 1h30m ahead. The shared board gives both sides a place to review decisions and keep work moving between calls.
- 01
Audit and plan
We agree which pages should survive before design starts. You review the proposed sitemap so the work stays focused on content the new site will actually use.
- 02
Sort the content
We mark existing pages for keeping, rewriting, merging or deletion. That inventory guides the new sitemap and gives the redirect plan a starting point.
- 03
Design the pages
We build a fresh look around your brand, with mobile layouts considered first. You review how the new design presents your content.
- 04
Prepare the switchover
We point the domain, apply redirects and submit the sitemap in Search Console. We then test forms, tracking and a sample of old URLs.
- 05
Check after launch
We review Search Console and analytics to catch issues early. The checks give you a view of what needs attention once visitors reach the new site.

Cost & time
What affects the cost and timeline of website redesign
The work depends on what must be moved, changed or rebuilt.
Page addresses
A site with a large archive of posts, news or products needs more URLs checked and redirected.
Content clean-up
Moving content as it stands is less work than rewriting, merging and reorganising it.
Platform
A new design on the same system takes less migration work than moving between systems with different content structures.
Source content
Embedded shortcodes, page-builder layouts and hand-formatted posts take extra effort to move cleanly.
Custom features
Member areas, booking systems, calculators and complex forms add work when they must be rebuilt.
Avoid
Mistakes to avoid with website redesign
Sending every old URL to the home page
Map each old address to its relevant new equivalent, so visitors following an existing link reach the right content.
Using temporary redirects for a permanent move
Use permanent redirects such as 301 or 308, which signal the new address for search indexing.
Dropping tracking during the rebuild
Move analytics, ad conversion tags and call tracking to the new templates so you retain the data used to assess the redesign.
Removing redirects to tidy up
Keep them in place for as long as possible, as Google recommends, so old links continue to have a route to the new pages.
Questions

Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does website redesign cost?
There is no fixed price for every redesign. The scope changes with the amount of restructuring, the need for a simpler editor and work associated with a rebrand or domain change. We discuss which pages your customers still use with you before agreeing the scope.
Should we change our existing page addresses?
Keep existing URLs where they still make sense. Changing confusing addresses or duplicate paths can be worthwhile, but it creates redirect work. An audit helps you make that decision page by page by listing existing URLs alongside their traffic, incoming links and search queries.
Can you keep our existing content?
Yes. We move your existing content and suggest places where it could be shortened or improved. The move also needs a check beyond the page copy: images, PDFs, blog categories, form connections, tracking codes and DNS records used by company email all need attention.
Will we own the redesigned website?
Yes. You own your domain, content and code, with no lock-in. That gives you control over those parts of the site after the project, so you can decide how you want to manage your content and website in future.
What should we check after launch?
Watch Search Console for crawl errors and old URLs returning 404 errors, and add any missing redirects. Compare enquiries, traffic and rankings for key pages with the period before launch. You can also update links you control, including social profiles, directory listings and email signatures.
Will our current site stay live during the redesign?
Yes. We build the redesigned site on a private preview link while your current site remains live. You can review the work on that link before the switchover, and we switch to the new site only when you approve it.
