Choosing
Should you choose WordPress or a custom website?
WordPress suits a team that publishes often and wants to edit most of the site itself. It offers a wide choice of plugins, though someone needs to keep the installation updated for security. A custom-coded site in Next.js suits a business that wants fast pages, tight security and a design without template limits. Structural changes generally need a developer, so consider who will look after those changes.
A hosted builder such as Wix, Squarespace or Webflow suits a small site that you want to run alone. You give up some control over code and speed, and moving away later can mean rebuilding the site. For a simple site with a tight brief, an adapted template is another option, provided its layout is reworked around your actual content.
We recommend an approach after learning how your team works. A custom Next.js site can still include an editor, so choosing custom code does not mean handing every content change to a developer.
Local
What Kuwait City businesses need from their websites
Kuwait City is home to the headquarters of most Kuwaiti corporations and the country’s entire banking system. If you run a professional services firm advising organisations like these, give each service and partner a clear page. Buyers can then check relevant expertise and credentials before they call, instead of having to piece together what your practice does from a single general page.
Kuwait’s petroleum-based economy and its petroleum and fertiliser exports are relevant to suppliers serving those sectors from the city. A manufacturer or B2B supplier needs capability or product pages, certifications and downloadable specifications. A quote form should also ask for enough detail to let your team respond properly, especially when an enquiry concerns a particular product or specification.
Rules
What your website project needs to handle in Kuwait
Arabic is Kuwait’s official language. When your brief calls for Arabic and English content, we plan the pages for both versions and set up an editor your team can use for page content. Decide who will prepare and review each version before page design begins.
If you are a CITRA-licensed service provider covered by its data privacy regulation, the build needs explicit consent before personal data is collected and terms in Arabic and English. We set up a consent checkbox on the relevant forms and provide access to those terms alongside it.
How it runs
How a website project runs with us
We work remotely from India using video calls, WhatsApp and a shared project board. IST is 2h30m ahead, so the board gives both sides a place to record feedback and keep decisions moving between conversations.
- 01
Discover
Tell us who buys from you, why they choose you and what you want visitors to do. We learn your goals and agree the scope with you; those answers shape the sitemap.
- 02
Plan
We prepare wireframes showing the content and order of each page. Your feedback here focuses on what belongs on the page and what should take priority.
- 03
Design
We develop the sitemap and page designs for desktop and mobile. You review them and we refine the designs with your feedback.
- 04
Build
We build with clean code or a content management system your team can edit, then test the site on real devices and browsers.
- 05
Launch
We set up your domain, email, analytics and Search Console. We also walk your team through the finished site.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring what you already have, and identify anything your team still needs to prepare.
- Your logo in SVG, AI or EPS, plus brand colours and fonts.
- A ranked list of services or products for the navigation and home page.
- Sites you like and dislike, with a short reason for each choice.
- Access details for your domain, hosting, email and measurement tools, or the contact who holds them.
- Real photos of your team, premises and finished work.
- Your main site goal and the person responsible for each type of enquiry.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timeline of your website
The work involved changes with the decisions you make in the brief.
Page templates
Distinct layouts take more design and build work than pages sharing the same template.
Features
Booking, member logins, several languages and CRM connections add design, build and testing work.
Content
Copy and photos ready to publish keep the scope smaller; writing, photography and translation add work.
Brand
An existing logo and style guide reduce design work compared with deciding the logo, colours and typefaces during the project.
Avoid
Mistakes to avoid when building your website
Leaving content until the end
Use real headings and paragraphs during design, since their length can change the layout.
Reviewing only on a large screen
Check every page on a phone before approving the design.
Copying every old page
Keep service pages clear and remove pages your team cannot usefully maintain.
Leaving search checks until launch
Check that an indexing block from development has not been left in place.

Questions
Asked by businesses in Kuwait City
Page updated 5 November 2026
Is website development still worth it?
It is worth assessing against the enquiries you want the site to bring in. Set up form submissions, calls and WhatsApp clicks as conversions in analytics, then check which pages visitors started from. A search-ready build also includes metadata, structured data and a sitemap, so those elements are in place from launch.
How much does a website cost to build?
There is no fixed price. A custom front end with a separate editor has more components to host and maintain, while gathering service descriptions, case studies and photos adds work if the content is not ready. The scope of those tasks needs to be agreed before the work can be assessed.
Can you use our existing brand?
Yes. We build on your existing logo, colours and fonts, and prepare brand assets for use on the web where needed. Share the material your team already uses and tell us which assets need preparing, so the page design can work from the established brand.
What is included in website design and development?
The project covers the sitemap, page structure, visual design, build, content editor, forms, search setup and launch. Agree an owner for each part. The brief should also set an accessibility target: WCAG criteria have levels A, AA and AAA, and the W3C encourages using the latest version.
Will we own the finished website?
Yes. You own the domain, content and code, with no lock-in. Before choosing the platform, also decide who will update the site and how often. Ownership gives you control of the assets; your editing needs help determine which setup is practical for the people using it.
What happens after the website launches?
We provide ongoing support after launch. Your team should also decide who will keep news, projects and job posts current. An old latest post can leave visitors wondering if the company is still trading, so assign responsibility for updates as part of your handover planning.
