Choosing
Should you choose WordPress or a custom website?
WordPress suits a team that publishes often and wants to edit most of the site itself. Its plugins offer plenty of options, though the site needs regular updates to stay secure. A custom Next.js site is faster and more secure, and it can still include an editor for your content.
A hosted builder such as Wix, Squarespace or Webflow suits a small site that you want to run alone. You give up some control over the code and speed, and moving away from the platform later can mean rebuilding the site. Check that trade-off before choosing it for convenience.
A headless setup combines a custom front end with a separate content editor. It suits a site that needs speed alongside substantial editing, but there are more parts to host and maintain. We recommend WordPress or a custom Next.js site after understanding how your team works and who will make updates.
Local
What Jodhpur organisations need from a website
Jodhpur is a centre of India's handicraft industry. If you supply handicrafts to other businesses, product pages should explain what you make, show relevant certifications and offer downloadable specifications. A quote form should ask for enough detail for you to respond properly.
Tourism businesses serving visitors to Jodhpur's forts, palaces and temples need a clear way for visitors to get in touch. Decide who receives each enquiry, what the confirmation message says and whether to show WhatsApp or click-to-call on mobile.
Technical education organisations in Jodhpur include the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur. For an organisation that publishes news, projects or careers information, we provide an editor your team can use without training. Agree who owns the page structure, content and launch tasks at the start.
How it runs
How a website project runs with us
We are a studio in India and work with you remotely over video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. You talk directly to the people designing and building your site.
- 01
Discover
Tell us who buys from you, why they choose you and what you want visitors to do. We learn about your business and audience, then agree the scope with you.
- 02
Plan
We prepare wireframes before visual design. Review what belongs on each page and its order; this is the stage to settle content and priorities before discussing colours.
- 03
Design
We create the sitemap and page designs for desktop and mobile. Your feedback helps us refine the pages before development, so you can review how the content is organised.
- 04
Build
We develop the site in Next.js or WordPress. Review every page on a phone as well as a desktop, so the mobile layout gets proper attention.
- 05
Launch
We set up the domain, email, analytics and Search Console. Your team can then use those accounts to follow what happens on the site.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
First, decide who will update the site and how often.
- Rank the services or products you most want to feature.
- Bring vector logo files, brand colours and fonts, or note what still needs creating.
- Gather real photos of your team, premises and finished work.
- Put case studies, permitted client logos, testimonials and certifications in a folder.
- Find the relevant account logins, or identify who holds them.
- Share sites you like and dislike, with a reason for each choice.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timeline
The scope shapes the work, and real content helps the design fit what you need to publish.
Page templates
Distinct layouts need separate design and build work; pages that share a template need less of that work.
Features
Booking, calculators, member logins, several languages or a CRM connection add design, development and testing.
Content
Copy and photos ready to publish keep the scope smaller; copywriting, photography or translation make it bigger.
Brand assets
An existing logo and style guide reduce design effort compared with deciding the logo, colours and typefaces during the project.

Questions
Asked by businesses in Jodhpur
Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does it cost to have a website built?
There is no fixed price. A custom design needs a different level of work from an adapted template, and search setup takes less effort when included in the build than when fixed afterwards. We send a free quote once we have agreed the scope with you.
Can you use our existing brand?
Yes. We build on your existing logo, colours and fonts, and prepare brand assets for the web where needed. Those elements give the page design a starting point and let us carry your existing identity through the site using the assets you already have.
What should we check before the website launches?
Proofread every page, submit each form and confirm who receives its messages. Check that an indexing block has not been left on from development, too. Page titles and a sitemap also need attention before launch so that search setup is part of the release.
Will we own the website?
Yes. You own your domain, content and code, with no lock-in. Ask for those ownership arrangements to be clear when you agree the scope, including who controls the domain and who can access the code after the site is handed over.
What should we track after launch?
Track enquiries in analytics: form submissions, calls and WhatsApp clicks, along with the pages they started from. Also decide who will update news, projects and job posts. Old posts can leave visitors wondering whether your company is still trading.
