Choosing
Should you redesign the whole product or work in stages?
For a live product, an incremental redesign lets existing users adjust as screens change. It suits a product whose structure still works but has tasks that need attention. A full redesign makes more sense when the structure no longer fits how people use it. That gives you room to rethink the product, with more decisions to make across its screens.
Consider the component library too. A marketing site or an early product can start with a small set of reusable components. A product with many screens or several teams may need a full design system. The larger system takes more planning, but gives those teams a shared way to create new screens.
You also have a choice about the build. Design-only work suits you if you already have developers. If you want a single party responsible for the finished product, choose a team that handles both design and development. Decide who will answer questions during the build before you agree the scope.
Market
What do buyers in Oman expect from a screen?
English is widely spoken in business and higher education, though less so outside Muscat. If your customers use English, we set up English screen labels and task flows with them in mind. Check the language your own customers use before deciding which screens need it.
The task also shapes the design. If you run a SaaS product, customers need clear onboarding, dashboards and settings to find value early. For an internal tool, staff who use it throughout the day need screens that reduce steps and errors. Bring examples of the tasks each group finds difficult.
Rules
What should your UI/UX design handle in Oman?
Arabic is the official language. That affects the screen copy you plan for: where your users need Arabic, we set up Arabic page and form labels as part of the screen designs. Bring the wording you use with customers so it can be reviewed in context, alongside the task each screen needs to support.
How it runs
How a UI/UX design project runs with us
We work remotely over video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. IST is 1h30m ahead, so we use the shared board to keep decisions and feedback visible between conversations.
- 01
Discover
You share your goals, user types, analytics, support complaints and competing products. We turn those into problems for the design to address.
- 02
Map and review
We sketch flows and wireframes step by step. You check them against the way your customers and staff actually work, before the team moves on.
- 03
Test
We build a clickable prototype and watch real users try it. You help invite customers or staff, and we look for the places where they hesitate or get lost.
- 04
Hand over
We provide the specifications and assets for the build, and support the developers as questions come up. You can review the work as the screens take shape.
- 05
Build and launch
When the scope includes development, we build and test on real devices and browsers, then handle domain, email, analytics and search setup. Ongoing support follows launch.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring what you already have so we can discuss the work in concrete terms.
- Your main user types and their tasks, marked to show which tasks bring revenue or lead to support calls.
- Your logo, fonts, colours and brand guidelines, plus any existing design files in Figma or another tool.
- Notes from your developers on the front-end framework, existing component library and anything the back end cannot yet do.
- Examples of products your users already know, with notes on what works well and what annoys you about each.
- A few customers or staff willing to try a prototype and talk through the parts that confuse them.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timing of UI/UX design?
The work involved changes with the evidence you need and the screens you plan to create.
Research
Interviews, surveys and usability tests add work, while giving you stronger evidence than a desk review alone.
Design system
Building one from scratch adds work at the start and saves effort on screens designed afterwards.
Platforms
Separate web, iOS and Android designs, or desktop and mobile layouts, increase the screens and reviews involved.
Prototype detail
Low-detail wireframes help with early structure decisions; a clickable prototype adds something users or investors can try before code.
Avoid
Mistakes to avoid with UI/UX design
Designing only the ideal path
Agree what happens when a task goes wrong or a screen has no content, so developers do not have to improvise.
Making forms hard to use
Check text contrast and tap targets, and give fields clear labels instead of relying only on placeholder text.
Deciding by opinion alone
When a design decision divides the team, test the prototype with real users and use what you observe to decide.
Leaving after handover
Keep a designer available during development so questions are answered and the built screens do not drift from the design.

Questions
Asked by businesses in Oman
Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does a UI/UX design agency charge?
There is no fixed price. The number of distinct screens and user roles affects the scope, as does the research approach: a new product or checkout flow may call for interviews and usability tests, while an existing product can start with analytics and support tickets. We send a free quote once the scope is agreed.
What does a UI/UX design agency do?
An agency maps how people use a product and designs the screens they use to complete tasks. We agree page and screen structure in wireframes before visual design, then prepare desktop and mobile screens in your brand for development. You can review the structure before decisions about the screen’s appearance begin.
How do I choose a UI/UX design partner?
Choose a partner whose handover fits the people who will build the product. If you have a development team without designers, ask how the files will be made usable for them. Share the front-end framework and existing component library early, so proposed components fit what your developers can build.
What should be included in the design handover?
Ask for specifications, exported assets, named components and interaction notes, with the designer available to answer build questions. We also prepare reusable components and styles where a design system is in scope. Check that the screens cover loading, errors, no results, long names and missing permissions, alongside the main task.
Who owns the work after the project?
You own your domain, content and code, with no lock-in. If your project includes a build, discuss the files and assets your team will need to keep using and updating the product. Clear ownership gives you control over those parts after the work is handed over.
What should we review after launch?
Compare task completion, drop-off between steps, support tickets and conversion with the figures from before the design change. Collect feedback from your support and sales teams for the next round of work. Keep the design files and system updated as the product changes, so new screens stay aligned with the agreed design.
