Choosing
Should you choose local SEO, content or a technical fix?
Choose local SEO when customers search for a provider nearby. Choose content-led work when buyers need to research their options before they contact you. You might need both: the useful question is how much effort each deserves, based on the searches your customers make and the information they need before enquiring.
A one-off audit and fix project suits a site with identifiable technical problems when your own team can carry on afterwards. Ongoing work suits a business that needs fresh content, local work and regular reporting. The choice affects how much work remains with your team after the initial changes.
Your website platform affects the decision too. If it prevents you from editing page titles, adding structured data or fixing slow templates, a rebuild can take less effort than repeated workarounds. When comparing providers, ask them to explain what they will change, why they recommend it and how they will measure success. Treat secrecy and promises of first place as warning signs.
Local
What businesses in Andaman and Nicobar Islands need from SEO
Tourism is a major part of the islands’ economy. A tourism business needs its Google Business Profile, citations and location pages to describe the places it actually serves. Page topics should reflect the searches visitors make: someone comparing options needs different information from someone ready to enquire. Give each page a clear main topic so pages do not compete for the same search.
The islands also have small-scale industries in engineering, woodworking and textiles. A supplier selling to other businesses needs content that answers buyer questions through a longer sales process. Case studies give a prospective customer something concrete to share with colleagues who are involved in the decision.
How it runs
How an SEO project runs with us
We are a studio in India and work remotely with clients through video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. You can use those conversations to explain your priorities and review the work as it moves forward.
- 01
Discover
Tell us about your business, customers and goals. We use that discussion to agree the scope of the SEO work with you, including the areas that need attention first.
- 02
Share access
For the audit, give the provider read access to Search Console first. Hold back write access at this stage while the site is being reviewed.
- 03
Record the baseline
Before changes begin, capture organic traffic, enquiries, indexed pages and the searches your site already appears for. This gives you a point of comparison for later reports.
- 04
Audit
We identify what holds the site back in search and order the findings by impact. You can see which issues the work is intended to address first.
- 05
Review content
Check new and rewritten pages for accuracy, supply photos and examples, and answer questions about your work. Your own knowledge gives the content its substance.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
A few details about your business will make the scope discussion more useful.
- AccessIdentify who controls Search Console, analytics, website admin and DNS. Keep your business as owner; Search Console lets an owner add other users.
- ServicesList your priorities, including work with spare capacity or better margins and enquiries you want fewer of.
- Areas and termsNote where you actually serve customers and the words they use for your services.
- EvidenceGather project photos, case studies, customer reviews, credentials, memberships and short staff bios.
- EnquiriesNote how leads arrive and whether their source is recorded.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and effort of SEO
The scope depends on the condition of your site and the work needed to compete.
Competition
The number and strength of businesses pursuing the same searches shape the content and reputation-building work needed.
Site condition
Duplicate pages, slow templates and indexing errors add fixes compared with a smaller, clean site.
Service areas and branches
Each adds profile and citation work, plus a location page with something specific to say.
Past problems
Bought links, thin pages, hacked content or a manual action can require clean-up before growth work starts.
Avoid
Mistakes to avoid with SEO
Buying links
Avoid link schemes and purchases intended to influence rankings. Google lists buying or selling links for ranking purposes as link spam.
Copying location pages
Do not publish near-identical pages that swap only the place name and funnel visitors to the same page. Give each location page useful, specific content.
Influencing reviews
Do not offer gifts or discounts for reviews, or ask only happy customers. Google prohibits incentives and selective requests for positive reviews.
Padding your profile name
Use the business name customers see on your website, invoices and signage; leave extra keywords and taglines out.

What does an SEO company do?
An SEO company plans and improves pages around what buyers search for, including service pages and guides. It also tracks visibility in search. The Search Console Performance report shows clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position by search query and by page, giving you detail beyond a list of keywords.
How much does an SEO company cost?
There is no fixed price for every SEO project. The work required on your site, the content buyers need and the local profiles and pages in scope all affect the quote. Code fixes for crawl or indexing problems, for example, are a different task from planning a guide around a buyer’s search.
Do I need a separate AI-search package?
Google says you do not need special markup, AI text files or extra optimisation to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode. Look closely at a separately sold package and ask what work it includes. The claim that special files are required for those features is not supported by Google’s guidance.
Who owns my website and business profile?
You own your domain, content and code, with no lock-in. Your business should also own its Google Business Profile and add the provider as a manager. A manager can edit the profile, but cannot add or remove users or delete it, so you retain control of those actions.
How will I know what the SEO work is doing?
Use enquiries and sales from organic search to judge the work, with rankings and traffic as supporting signs. We report on rankings, traffic and enquiries using Search Console and analytics. Be cautious of a report that shows only rankings for a hand-picked set of keywords; it leaves out useful evidence about business results.
Can you investigate a traffic drop after a website redesign?
Yes. A redesign or migration can leave redirects, lost pages and internal links to trace and repair. Check Search Console as part of the investigation: it can show indexing errors, manual actions, security issues and sudden drops in clicks before someone notices a fall in enquiries.
