Choosing
Which outsourcing arrangement fits your work?
Choose a fixed-scope project when you have a defined build to hand over and want a team to deliver it end to end. Weekly demos give you opportunities to review progress. A single project also lets you assess the working relationship before committing to ongoing work; an ongoing arrangement gives the delivery team more time to learn your standards, products and customers.
A developer working inside your team suits you when you have a technical lead who can direct the work. A managed team with its own lead reduces the management you need to provide. For a startup building or extending a product before recruiting engineers, that choice affects how much direction your own team must supply.
Decide how visible you want the delivery partner to be. In a fully white-label arrangement, we stay invisible to your end client; in an open arrangement, we can join client calls, which may make decisions quicker. We start by learning about your business, audience and goals, then agree the scope with you.
Rules
What a Saudi Arabia project has to handle
A project involving personal data of people residing in Saudi Arabia needs a plan for access from outside the country. Transfers are subject to conditions, including a limit to the minimum data needed. We set up individual accounts with the least permissions needed, two-factor sign-in and removal of access when someone leaves. You can use that access plan when deciding what data the project team needs.
A risk assessment is required before certain transfers abroad, including transfers under an exemption and continuous or widespread transfers of sensitive data. Define the data and access arrangements before work begins. We agree confidentiality, code ownership and access in the contract so those arrangements have a documented handover.
How it runs
How a project runs with us
We work remotely over video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. IST is 2h30m ahead, so we agree an overlap for calls and keep written work moving between them. You have a record to review when you are back at your desk.
- 01
Pilot
Start with a small paid piece, such as a feature or landing page. You can assess communication, code quality and timekeeping before assigning a larger build.
- 02
Kick-off
Agree the tools, overlap hours, update format, escalation contacts and definition of done in writing. Your team knows where to raise a question and how completed work will be judged.
- 03
Communication
We assign a project lead, send written updates and hold a call at an agreed overlap time. You bring decisions and questions to that lead.
- 04
Between calls
Work continues asynchronously, with end-of-day notes on progress, blockers and open questions. You can respond at the start of your own day without waiting for the next call.
- 05
Design through launch
We refine desktop and mobile designs with your feedback before coding, build and test on real devices and browsers, then handle domain, email, analytics and search setup. You review the designs and give feedback.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
A short written pack gives us a useful starting point and gives you something to check with your own client.
- AccountsIdentify the code hosting, cloud hosting, domain and third-party service accounts you will own and provide for the work.
- Contract termsSet out confidentiality, intellectual property assignment and what happens to code and access when the work ends.
- Acceptance criteriaList how each finished item will be checked, the devices and browsers involved, and who can sign it off.
- HandoverDecide who will receive the code, credentials, documentation and deployment steps so your team can continue the work.
- BriefGather the goals, users, essential features, examples you like and work that is out of scope.
Cost & time
What affects cost and time
The work involved depends on the delivery arrangement and the standard you agree for the finished product.
Skills
Design, front-end, back-end and mobile work call for different skills and levels of experience. The mix affects who needs to contribute.
Overlap and reporting
The working-hours overlap you require, along with meetings and reports, changes the coordination involved in delivery.
Changes to scope
A fixed scope works with stable requirements and a clear acceptance test. New requests during the project need a change request.
Quality checks
Test coverage, accessibility, performance targets and the browsers and devices supported all affect the checking work.
Avoid
Mistakes to avoid when outsourcing
Choosing on rate alone
Compare the likely management effort, estimate quality and rework as well. A lower rate can leave your team doing more coordination.
Leaving the brief vague
Write down requirements and ask the delivery team to confirm them back. That gives you a chance to correct assumptions before they reach the build.
Having no overlap
Agree a regular window when both teams are available. Otherwise a single question can hold up work for a full day.
Hearing bad news late
Agree that blockers and slips are raised as soon as they are known, so you can make a decision while there are still options.

Questions
Asked by businesses in Saudi Arabia
Page updated 5 November 2026
What is white label web development?
White-label web development is work delivered for your clients under your agency’s name. We follow the processes and brand you agree with us, including project templates, coding standards and client-facing tone. Where agreed, the work can also use your email domain or ticketing tools.
How much does white-label development cost?
There is no fixed price for every brief. Cost depends on how clearly the work is specified and what needs to be built, such as a mobile app, an integration or an admin area. Open-ended work needs a different estimating approach from a well-specified scope.
Is outsourcing development a good choice?
It can be a good choice when you can define the work, standards and communication rules for an outside team. Review each completed project against code quality, estimate accuracy and communication. That gives you a basis for deciding whether to continue, expand the arrangement or bring the work in-house.
Can a developer work inside our existing team?
Yes. Our dedicated developers work with your tools and stand-ups, with working-hours overlap agreed for the engagement. You also talk directly to the people designing and building the product, so technical questions and feedback can reach the people doing the work.
Who owns the domain, content and code?
You own your domain, content and code, with no lock-in. Keep repositories, hosting and domains in accounts under your control from the start, so access and ownership stay clear if your internal team or another supplier needs to take over later.
What support is available after launch?
We provide ongoing support after launch. Before the site or app goes live, agree who will fix bugs found afterwards, how quickly those issues will be answered and who will handle hosting, updates and monitoring. Record those responsibilities so your client knows where to raise a problem.
