MVP development for startups in Saudi Arabia
Get a working product that puts your startup idea in front of real users in Saudi Arabia. We define the smallest useful scope, then build a web app with sign-up, payments and an admin area. With MSH Technologies, an India-based web, app and AI studio, you work remotely with us from the initial scope through to launch.

What you get
What’s included in MVP development for startups
Scope to launch
The smallest set of features that tests your idea with real users.
Design
Clickable flows and screens before development starts.
Build
A production-ready web app with sign-up, payments and an admin area.
Analytics
Events and funnels in place so you can see what users do from day one.
Launch
Hosting, domain, email and monitoring set up.
Next version
A plan for version two based on what the first users show you.
Tools we use: Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Stripe, Vercel.
Choosing
What should you build first?
Start with the question you need users to answer. A clickable prototype is useful when you need to find out whether people understand and want the idea. It needs no code, so you can change screens and flows as you learn. A coded MVP suits a product whose value depends on custom logic, data or integrations, or when you intend the first version to grow into the product itself.
A web app is straightforward to change and does not need a store review. A mobile MVP is a better fit when the main action depends on a camera, location or frequent notifications. For a marketplace, you can recruit suppliers personally and build the software around the side whose behaviour you need to test. That keeps part of the operation manual while you learn what the product needs to do. We help you choose the first version, build it and plan what comes next.
Market
What buyers in Saudi Arabia expect at checkout
For an MVP taking online payments, decide which payment methods you want to offer before the checkout is designed. Mada cards can be used for online payments at e-commerce outlets through the 3D Secure protocol. If mada is part of your scope, we set up the checkout flow around that choice and account for the 3D Secure step. Include the payment flow in your user testing: a buyer needs to understand how to move from choosing an item to completing payment, and you need to see where the checkout needs attention.
Rules
Payment choices your MVP project needs to handle
Buy-now-pay-later is a separate checkout choice from taking a card payment. Tamara Finance is licensed to provide consumer finance and buy-now-pay-later services, and Tabby Finance is licensed for buy-now-pay-later activity. If you choose either for your product, we scope that choice into the checkout and set up the payment flow around it. Agree this before the build: the screens need to show users the payment option you intend to offer, and the flow needs to be tested as part of the purchase.
How it runs
How an MVP project runs with us
We work remotely over video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. IST is 2h30m ahead, so the shared board gives you a place to review work and leave feedback across the time difference.
- 01
Discover and design
We learn about your business, audience and goals, agree the scope with you, then refine desktop and mobile screen designs with your feedback before coding starts. We build and test on real devices and browsers.
- 02
Line up users
While the build is underway, you identify people who have agreed to try the product and give honest feedback. Have them ready to use the core flow when it launches.
- 03
Set up measurement
We put events and funnels in place so you can see what users do from the start. Decide which actions you need to observe as users move through the product.
- 04
Launch
We set up hosting, the domain, email and monitoring. You can then put the working product in front of the people you have lined up.
- 05
Review
Combine the analytics with short user interviews. The numbers show where people stop; conversations help you understand why, and the first users’ behaviour informs the next version.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring what you know, including the gaps you want the product to test.
- Describe the problem and who has it. Bring evidence that people care, such as interviews or a waitlist.
- Separate must-have features from later ideas, with a reason for each must-have in the core flow.
- Name the people who will try it and outline how you will reach more users once it works.
- Show us the alternatives users rely on today, including spreadsheets or manual workarounds, and where they fall short.
- If you are turning a repeated service into a product, bring the workflow you want to capture in software.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timeline?
The work grows with the flows and decisions the first product has to support.
User types
Each type needs its own flows. A marketplace serving buyers and suppliers has substantially more to account for than a product with a single user type.
Payments
Subscriptions, split payouts and held funds introduce more rules and testing than a straightforward card payment.
Design
Standard components keep the interface smaller in scope than a custom brand system with animation.
Features
Extra roles, settings, dashboards and integrations add work. Keep them for later unless users need them to complete the core flow.
Avoid
Mistakes to avoid when building an MVP
Building too much
Each feature added before launch delays learning and makes it harder to see what users value. Keep the first scope centred on the action you need to test.
Building too little
A broken sign-up or confusing first screen can obscure whether the idea works. Test the core flow before putting it in front of users.
Skipping success criteria
Agree the target and the decision it will trigger before launch, so you have a way to assess what users do.
Treating the code as disposable
MVP code often becomes the product. Keep it clean and documented, with tests around the core flow.
Questions

Page updated 5 November 2026
What does an MVP development company do?
An MVP development company helps turn an idea into a product that people can use. We also consider how you will operate it: a small admin area can let you approve users, correct records and handle refunds. Some work, such as matching orders or emailing reports, can stay manual while you test demand.
What does MVP development cost?
There is no fixed price: the scope determines the work. Integrations with outside systems add complexity, while AI features need prompt design and testing against real examples. The number and detail of the screens and clickable flows also affect the design work. Once we agree the scope, ask us for a quote.
Should I charge users from the start?
Charge from the start when willingness to pay is the question you need to test. A free beta can bring in more users, but it gives weaker evidence that the product will sell. Choose the approach that gives you useful evidence for the decision you need to make after users try it.
Who is MVP development useful for?
It is useful for founders who need evidence from real users before committing more resources. A first-time founder might want to test an idea before raising money or committing savings. A startup preparing to raise funds may need a working product and real usage data to show investors.
Who owns the product after it is built?
You own your code, content and domain, with no lock-in. That gives you control over those assets as you decide what to do with the product. Keep ownership in view when you agree the project scope, particularly if the first version is intended to become the basis for later work.
What happens after the MVP launches?
We plan the next version around what the first users show you. Use the success criteria agreed before launch to decide whether to continue, change direction or stop. If the product moves forward, work can include repaying shortcuts, adding tests around the core flow and automating manual steps as volume grows.
