Choosing
Should you build a cross-platform, native or web app?
For an app built around bookings, forms, lists or customer accounts, cross-platform development is a practical place to start. We usually use React Native: it shares a codebase across iOS and Android, with native modules where a feature needs them. We choose native development when the app needs deep access to device features. That decision affects how much platform-specific work the project needs.
React Native uses JavaScript or TypeScript and renders each platform’s own interface components. A web developer can contribute, and an existing React website might share some logic with the app. Flutter is another cross-platform option. It uses Dart and draws its own interface, which suits a heavily customised design intended to look the same across platforms; your team would need to be comfortable working in Dart.
A progressive web app is worth considering for a staff tool that does not need a store listing. It skips store review, but it will not appear in the app stores unless packaged for them. On an iPhone, it can ask for notification permission only after someone adds it to their Home Screen.
Local
What Rajahmundry businesses need from an app
Rajahmundry has a large bullion market with gold, silver and platinum shops. A shop serving repeat customers could use an app for reordering and saved payment details, with a checkout that is quick to complete. Notifications need careful timing so customers receive a useful prompt when they are ready to return.
Nurseries in the surrounding Kadiam and Rajahmundry Rural mandals support the city’s floriculture sector. If your nursery staff record work away from the office, an app could give them job forms with photos, signatures and location details. Records then need to sync back to the office when a signal returns, so staff have the information for each job.
Rules
What an app project in India needs to handle
UPI supports mobile payments to merchants, so we can plan a UPI checkout for physical goods or services sold through your app. The type of purchase changes the payment setup: Apple requires in-app purchase for digital content, features and subscriptions used inside the app, while physical goods and services used outside it need another payment method. We set up the relevant payment and subscription flows for the purchase you offer.
How it runs
How a mobile app project runs with us
We work remotely with clients in other cities and countries from our base in India. Video calls, WhatsApp and a shared project board give you ways to discuss decisions and follow the work.
- 01
Discover
We learn about your business, audience and goals. You tell us what people need to do, and we agree the scope together before design begins.
- 02
Design
We design the iOS and Android screens and refine them with your feedback before writing code. You can review the flows and point out changes.
- 03
Review
Put the clickable prototype in front of a few customers or staff. Their feedback gives you a chance to change screens before they are built.
- 04
Test
During development, test builds reach your phone through TestFlight on iPhone or Google Play testing tracks. Use the app and tell us what needs attention.
- 05
Release
We handle the store listings, submission and review under your own developer accounts. You keep control of the accounts used to publish the app.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring whatever you have from this list, so we can identify the work your app will need.
- Developer accountsStart registering Apple and Google accounts in your company’s name; organisation verification needs a D-U-N-S number.
- TestersNew personal Google Play accounts need a closed test with at least 12 testers, opted in for at least 14 days.
- Existing systemsList your website, CRM, booking software or payment provider, their APIs and who has admin access.
- Privacy policyPrepare a policy that matches the data the app collects; Apple requires a link in the listing and app.
- Account deletionPlan an in-app deletion path and a web request link if customers can create accounts.
- Third-party toolsNote analytics or advertising SDKs so their data collection is covered in Google Play’s Data safety form.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timeline of mobile app development
The scope determines the work involved in design, development and testing.
User types
Customers, drivers and staff each need their own screens and permissions, even when they share a backend.
Integrations
Each connection to a payment gateway, booking system or device needs setup, testing and handling for failures.
Existing backend
A documented API reduces the work; building a backend and admin panel from scratch adds substantial scope.
Screen design
Custom animation, additional languages and tablet layouts add design and testing across the screens that use them.

How much does it cost to develop an app?
There is no fixed price. Offline editing with later synchronisation adds more work than displaying the last data loaded, while user-generated content needs moderation tools and reporting flows. We agree the scope with you before discussing a quote, so those requirements are clear.
How do I choose an app development company?
Choose a team whose working process gives you direct access to the people making your app. With us, you talk to the designers and developers themselves. Ask how feedback reaches them and how decisions will be recorded, particularly when you are reviewing screens remotely.
Can my app use the same backend as my website?
Yes. We build a shared backend for your app, website and admin tools, so they can work with the same accounts and data. For the first release, we can also set up analytics and crash reporting to show which screens people use and which devices experience crashes.
Will I own the app and its code?
You own your code, content and domain, with no lock-in. Keep your code repository and signing access in your business’s name as well. Accounts or repositories held in an agency’s name can make the app harder to move if you change development partners later.
What support does an app need after launch?
An app needs ongoing bug fixes, operating-system updates and changes to features. Plan maintenance releases: Google Play requires new apps and updates to target a recent Android API level. Track how often people return, where they leave the main task and whether each release changes the crash-free rate.
