Choosing
Should you choose a cross-platform app, a native app or a web app?
A cross-platform app suits products built around accounts, forms, bookings, payments or content. React Native shares most of the code across iOS and Android while rendering each platform’s own interface components. Your web developers can contribute, and some logic can be shared with a React web app. We design the screens and flows around the conventions of each platform.
We usually build with React Native and add native modules when a feature needs them. A fully native build fits an app that depends on deep device features, heavy graphics, complex background work or new platform features at launch. The trade-off is more code to build and maintain across the platforms.
A progressive web app can suit a staff tool and skips store review. It needs packaging to appear in app stores, and on an iPhone it can ask for notification permission only after being added to the Home Screen. We learn about your business, audience and goals, then agree the scope with you so the choice fits the work.
Local
What Raipur businesses need from an app
For a trade or commerce business offering appointments, customers need a way to book and pay, while staff need a view of the day’s schedule. Reminders give customers a prompt about their booking. Those flows give you a practical scope to discuss before adding more features.
Steel, iron, plywood, agro-industrial and rice-milling businesses with field teams may need job forms that work without a signal. Photos, signatures and location can sit with each job and sync to the office when the connection returns.
For local educational institutes that already have a frequently used web platform, an app can reuse the same accounts, data and backend. That gives the people using the platform a mobile route into the service without creating a separate set of accounts.
Rules
How payments affect an app in India
For physical goods or services, we can set up a UPI checkout through a payment integration. UPI supports payments between people and merchants. Digital goods and subscriptions sold inside an app need a different checkout: Google Play billing is required for those sales on Google Play, while it must not be used for physical goods or services. We set up the relevant in-app purchase or subscription flow and test the payment integration.
How it runs
How a mobile app project runs with us
We work remotely from India using video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. You speak directly to the people designing and building your product, so you can discuss a screen or a technical decision with the team doing the work.
- 01
Discover
We learn about your business, audience and goals, and agree the scope with you. Bring the main task you want people to complete in the app.
- 02
Design
We refine iOS and Android screens with your feedback before writing code. Put the clickable prototype in front of customers or staff and bring their feedback to the design discussion.
- 03
Build
We can build a shared backend for your app, website and admin tools. Tell us which customer accounts and data need to be available across them.
- 04
Launch
We handle store listings, submission and review under your developer accounts. If the app has a login, provide a working demo account and a live backend for Apple’s review.
- 05
Measure
We include analytics and crash reporting in the first release. You can see which screens people use, where they give up and which devices crash.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring these details to the first discussion so we can agree what the app needs.
- Write down what users must do in the first release, in the order they will do it.
- List the website, CRM, booking system, ERP software and payment provider involved; note their APIs and who has admin access.
- Start registering Apple and Google developer accounts in your company’s name. Organisation accounts need a D-U-N-S number.
- Check the closed-test requirement if you plan to use a new personal Google Play developer account.
- Keep developer accounts, signing access and code repositories in your business’s name.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timeline of an app
The scope determines how much design, backend and testing work the project needs.
User roles
Customers, drivers and staff each need their own screens and permissions, even when they share a backend.
Live features
Tracking, chat and presence need persistent connections and more backend work than screens that load data on request.
Existing systems
A backend with a documented API can reduce the work. Building a backend and admin panel from scratch adds a substantial part of the project.
User content
Content posted by users needs filtering, reporting, blocking and published contact details to meet Apple’s requirements.

How much does it cost to develop an app?
There is no fixed price. The scope of offline work and notification controls both affect the build: showing previously loaded data is a smaller task than syncing offline edits with conflict handling, while notifications need sending rules and settings. Ask for a quote against an agreed scope.
How do I choose an app development company?
Choose a team that can explain what the app will offer and when users need an account. Apple’s guidelines ask apps without significant account-based features to allow use without login, and a repackaged website risks rejection. Ask to see how those decisions would shape your proposed screens.
Who owns the app and developer accounts?
You own your code, content and domain, with no lock-in. We publish under your own developer accounts, including the store listings, submission and review. Discuss account access before work starts so the people responsible for your product can manage its release.
What account and notification controls should the app include?
If people can create an account, the app must let them start deleting it inside the app; disabling the account alone is not enough. For notifications, ask for permission when the benefit is clear, such as after an order. On Android 13 and later, notifications stay off until the user allows them.
What support does an app need after launch?
Plan regular maintenance releases and check how people use the app. Google Play requires apps and updates to target a recent Android API level. Some JavaScript and content fixes can be sent over the air, while native code changes need a store release. Track returning users, task drop-off and the crash-free rate.
