Choosing
Should you choose a cross-platform or native app?
A cross-platform app is a practical fit when your main tasks involve accounts, forms, bookings, payments or content. We usually use React Native, sharing a codebase across iOS and Android while adding native modules where a feature needs them. Its use of each platform’s own interface components also gives web developers a way to contribute.
Native development fits an app built around deep device features, heavy graphics or complex background work. The trade-off is separate codebases to build and maintain. Flutter is another cross-platform option: it draws its own interface and suits a highly customised design, provided your team is comfortable working in Dart.
A progressive web app is worth considering for a staff tool if store presence is not essential. It skips store review, although it needs packaging to appear in the stores. On iPhone, it can ask to send notifications only after the user adds it to the Home Screen.
Local
What Nagpur businesses need from an app
Nagpur is among the places where Maharashtra’s industrial activity is concentrated. For an industrial business with people working in the field, an app could give each job an offline form with photos, signatures and location, then sync the records to the office when signal returns. Agree which information staff must capture before designing the screens.
Nagpur’s industrial businesses operate in a state whose industries include food products, machinery and motor vehicles. If your customers already use a web platform frequently, an app can give them access to their existing accounts and data. Start with the tasks they return to most often, so the app has a clear purpose for its users.
How it runs
How a mobile app project runs with us
We are a studio in India and work with clients remotely over video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. You speak directly to the people designing and building your product.
- 01
Discover
Tell us about your business, audience and goals. We use that conversation to agree the scope with you before the screen designs or build begin.
- 02
Design
We prepare iOS and Android screens and refine them with your feedback before writing code. Review the flows as a user would, including how people get from one task to the next.
- 03
Check the prototype
Put the clickable screens in front of a few customers or staff and watch where they hesitate. Changes at this stage cost less than changes after the screens are built.
- 04
Build and test
We share test builds for your own phone through TestFlight or the relevant Google Play testing track. Use them for real tasks and send feedback while development is underway.
- 05
Prepare submission
If the app has a login, provide a working demo account and make sure the backend is live for Apple’s review. Leave room in the launch plan for a fix and resubmission if needed.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring a clear picture of the first release and the accounts needed to publish it.
- List the tasks users must complete, in the order they will do them.
- Register Apple and Google developer accounts in your company’s name; organisation accounts need a D-U-N-S number.
- If using a new personal Google Play account, prepare for a closed test with opted-in testers before production release.
- Have a privacy policy that matches the data your app collects; Apple requires a link in the listing and app.
- If users can create accounts, plan an in-app deletion path and a web deletion request link for Google Play.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and work involved
The scope of the screens and the systems behind them determines how much work the project needs.
User roles
Customers, drivers and staff each need their own flows and permissions, even when they share a backend.
Live features
Tracking, chat and presence need persistent connections and more backend work than screens that load data on request.
Interface
Custom animation, additional languages and tablet layouts add design and testing work across screens.
User content
Posts or other user-generated material need filtering, reporting and blocking tools, plus published contact details.
Existing systems
A documented API can reduce work; a new backend and admin panel can be as substantial as the app itself.
Questions
Asked by businesses in Nagpur
Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does it cost to develop an app?
There is no fixed price. The work depends heavily on the backend and admin panel, the level of offline use and the purchase or subscription features you need. For example, showing previously loaded data offline is less work than syncing edits and resolving conflicts. Ask us for a quote once the scope is agreed.
How do I choose an app development company?
Look for a team that explains what people will use the app for and how it plans to build for each platform. Apple expects more than a repackaged website, so ask what the app adds for users. We use React Native for a shared iOS and Android codebase, with native modules where needed.
Can the app share data with my website?
Yes. We build a backend that serves your app, website and admin tools. We also set up push notifications. Plan when to request permission: asking after an action such as an order gives the user a clearer reason to accept, and newer Android versions keep notifications off until permission is given.
Who owns the app and store accounts?
You own your code, content and domain without lock-in. We handle store listings, submission and review under your own developer accounts. Keep those accounts, signing access and code repositories in your business’s name too, so moving the app later does not depend on an agency’s credentials.
What support does the app need after launch?
Plan for bug fixes, operating system updates and further features. Google Play also requires apps and updates to target a recent Android API level. We include ongoing support, and analytics and crash reporting in the first release give you a way to see where users drop out and which devices crash.
