Choosing
Should you choose a cross-platform app or native apps?
React Native shares most of its code across iOS and Android. It suits apps built around accounts, forms, bookings, payments and content, while rendering interface components from each platform. If your website uses React, some logic can also be shared with the app.
Native development suits an app that depends on deep device features, heavy graphics or complex background work. The trade-off is separate codebases to build and maintain. Flutter is another cross-platform option: it draws its own interface, which suits a highly customised design, provided your team is comfortable working in Dart.
A progressive web app is worth considering for a staff tool. It skips store review, but does not appear in app stores unless packaged for them; on iPhone, it can request notification permission only after being added to the Home Screen. We generally recommend React Native for shared-platform builds and choose native development when deep device features call for it.
Local
What Indore organisations need from an app
Indore has pharmaceutical and automotive manufacturers. If your manufacturing business sends staff out for maintenance or inspections, an app can put job forms, photos, signatures and locations on their phones. Records then need to sync back to the office when a signal returns, so staff can keep working away from a connection.
Indore is also home to an IIT and an IIM. For a college or other organisation with an established web platform that people use frequently, an app can give those users another way to reach their existing account and data. We build a shared backend for the app, website and admin tools, so those records live in one place.
Rules
What a mobile app project in India has to handle
For a checkout accepting payments from customers to merchants, we set up a payment integration with an authorised aggregator, such as Razorpay or Cashfree. Non-bank businesses that aggregate customer payments for merchants need authorisation. The checkout can also offer UPI for person-to-merchant payments.
For digital goods and subscriptions sold inside an Android app, we set up Google Play billing. Physical goods and services, such as groceries or transport, must use another payment method; some regions allow alternative billing for digital purchases.
How it runs
How a mobile app development project runs with us
We are a studio in India and work remotely with clients in other cities. You can speak with us over video calls and WhatsApp, and follow the work on a shared project board.
- 01
Discover
We learn about your business, audience and goals, then agree the scope with you. Bring the tasks you want people to complete and the people who will use the app.
- 02
Design
We prepare iOS and Android screens and refine them with your feedback before writing code. You can check that the flows match how your customers or staff work.
- 03
Try the prototype
Put the clickable screens in front of a few customers or staff. Their feedback can reveal changes while the screens are still cheaper to alter than a finished build.
- 04
Test the build
We send builds to your phone through TestFlight or Google Play testing tracks. Use the app in a real setting and tell us where a task is unclear.
- 05
Submit
We handle store listings, submission and review under your developer accounts. You retain those accounts for your business.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Gather these details so we can discuss the build with you.
- Developer accountsRegister Apple and Google accounts in your company name; organisation verification needs a D-U-N-S number.
- Existing systemsList your website, booking software or payment provider, their APIs and who holds admin access.
- Privacy policyPrepare a policy matching the data the app collects, for the app and its Apple listing.
- TestersFor a new personal Google Play account, arrange opted-in testers for the required closed test.
- Demo loginIf your app requires login, prepare a working account and live backend for Apple review.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timeline of app development
The scope determines the work involved in a build.
User types
Customers, drivers and staff each need their own screens and permissions, even when they share a backend.
Live features
Tracking, chat and presence need persistent connections and more backend work than screens that load data on request.
User-generated content
Posts need filtering, reporting and blocking tools, plus published contact details, to meet Apple's requirements.
Existing backend
A documented API can save work; building a backend and admin panel from scratch can be as substantial as building the app.
Questions
Asked by businesses in Indore
Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does it cost to develop an app?
There is no fixed price. The main drivers include the backend and admin tools, the level of offline work, and the rules and settings for notifications. For example, editing records offline and resolving sync conflicts takes more work than showing previously loaded data. We send you a free quote once the scope is agreed.
How do I choose an app development company?
Ask how the team will make the app useful on its own and how much access people get before signing up. Apple expects more than a repackaged website, and its guidelines ask apps without significant account-based features to let people use them without logging in.
What should be included in the first release?
Include analytics, crash reporting and a considered approach to notifications. Tools such as Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics show which screens people use and where devices crash. Ask for notification permission when its benefit is clear, such as after an order, instead of at first launch.
Will I own the app and its code?
Yes. You own your code, content and domain, with no lock-in. Keep the code repository, developer accounts and signing access in your business's name too. Accounts held by an agency or freelancer can make the app harder to move later.
What support is available after launch?
Ongoing support covers bug fixes, updates for new iOS and Android versions, and new features. We can also review retention, where people leave the main task, and the crash-free rate. Some JavaScript and content fixes can ship over the air; native code changes still need a store release.
