Choosing
Should you build a cross-platform, native or web app?
A cross-platform app is a practical choice when you want to reach iOS and Android from a shared codebase. We use React Native for this, adding native modules when the app needs them. It renders each platform’s own interface components, and some logic can be shared with a React web app. That gives your web developers a way to contribute.
Native development fits an app that depends on deep device features, heavy graphics, complex background work or new platform features as they become available. The trade-off is maintaining separate codebases. Flutter offers another cross-platform approach: it draws its own interface, which suits a highly customised visual design, but your team needs to work in Dart.
A progressive web app is worth considering for a staff tool that does not need a store listing. It skips store review, though it will not appear in the stores unless packaged, and iPhone notification requests require it to be added to the Home Screen. We help you choose by learning your business, audience and goals before agreeing the scope with you.
Local
What Gwalior organisations need from an app
Gwalior has sports organisations as well as cultural and industrial activity. An appointment-based sports organisation could use an app to take bookings and payments, send reminders and give staff a view of the day’s schedule.
Commercial businesses serving the industrial zones around Gwalior may have delivery, maintenance or inspection staff working away from the office. Their app can collect job forms, photos, signatures and location, then sync the records when a signal returns.
Gwalior also attracts visitors. A shop or restaurant serving them and repeat local customers could use reordering, loyalty features and saved payment details, with a quick checkout and notifications timed to be useful.
Rules
What an app project in India has to handle
If your checkout needs UPI, we plan it around your payment provider and the person-to-merchant payment flow. What you sell also changes the checkout. For digital content, features or subscriptions used in the app, we set up the stores’ in-app purchase or billing options; physical goods and services used outside the app need a different payment route. Some storefronts or regions allow alternatives, so tell us where your offer will be available.

At MSH Technologies, we work from India with clients remotely over video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards.
- 01
Discover
We learn about your business, audience and goals. You help us agree what belongs in the scope before design starts.
- 02
Design
We create screens for iOS and Android and refine them with your feedback before writing code. You can check that the main tasks make sense to your users.
- 03
Prototype
Put the clickable design in front of a few customers or staff. Their feedback gives us a chance to change screens before they are built.
- 04
Build and test
We share test builds through TestFlight or Google Play’s testing tracks. Try the app on your own phone and tell us where a task needs attention.
- 05
Store submission
We handle the listings, submission and review under your own developer accounts. You retain control of those accounts.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
These details will help us understand the work and its dependencies.
- Developer accountsConsider registering Apple and Google accounts in your company’s name; organisation accounts need a D-U-N-S number.
- TestersFor a new personal Google Play account, plan for the required closed test before production release.
- Privacy policyPrepare a policy that matches the data your app collects, for the app and its Apple store listing.
- Connected systemsList your website, booking software, CRM and payment provider, noting API availability and who holds admin access.
- NotificationsNote which messages people should receive and which categories they should be able to switch off.
- Sign-inDecide what people can use before creating an account, especially if the app has few account-based features.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and time involved?
The scope determines the amount of design, building and testing work.
Integrations
Each payment gateway, booking system or connected device adds setup, testing and failure handling.
Screen variations
Custom animation, extra languages and tablet layouts add design and testing across screens.
User content
Posts or other user-generated material need moderation, reporting and blocking features, plus published contact details.
Offline work
Showing previously loaded data is a smaller task than creating and editing records offline, then resolving conflicts when they sync.

Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does it cost to have an app developed?
There is no fixed price. The main drivers include how many types of user need their own screens and permissions, and whether you already have a backend with a documented API. A new backend and admin panel add substantial work. Agreeing the scope makes those requirements clear before you ask for a quote.
How do I choose an app development company?
Choose a team that can explain what people will do in the app and how you will assess its use. An app that merely wraps your website risks store rejection and gives people little reason to install it. Ask how you will track returning users and where they leave the main task.
What is included besides the app screens?
The work can include a backend and an admin panel as well as the app itself. Staff can use the panel to edit content, look up customers, issue refunds and block abusive accounts. If users can create accounts, the build also needs account-deletion paths that meet the Apple and Google Play requirements.
Will I own the app code and content?
Yes. You own your code, content and domain, with no lock-in. That gives you control over those assets after launch. If you also have a website, we can build a shared backend for the app, website and admin tools, so consider that connection when discussing the scope.
What support is available after launch?
Launch is followed by ongoing support, including bug fixes, updates for new iOS and Android versions, and new features. Plan for maintenance releases: Google Play requires apps and updates to target a recent Android API level, and out-of-date apps can become unavailable to new users on newer devices.
