What you get

What’s included in mobile app development

  • App design

Screens and flows designed for iOS and Android conventions.

  • Cross-platform build

One React Native codebase for both platforms, with native modules where needed.

  • Backend & APIs

Accounts, data, notifications and admin tools behind the app.

  • Push notifications

Timely, targeted notifications that bring people back.

  • Payments & subscriptions

In-app purchases and subscriptions on both stores.

  • Store launch

App Store and Google Play listings, submission and release.

Tools we use: React Native, Expo, Swift, Kotlin, Firebase, Node.js.

Choosing

Should you choose a cross-platform or native app?

For an app centred on accounts, forms, bookings, payments or content, we usually use React Native. It shares a codebase across iOS and Android, while native modules handle features that need them. That gives you coverage on both platforms without maintaining a separate full app codebase for each.

Flutter is another cross-platform option. It uses Dart and draws its own interface, which suits a heavily branded design that should look identical across platforms. Native development in Swift and Kotlin fits deep device features, heavy graphics or complex background work, though you then have separate codebases to build and maintain.

A progressive web app can suit a staff tool and skips store review. It will not appear in the app stores unless packaged for them, and on iPhone it can ask to send notifications only after someone adds it to their Home Screen. Consider how staff will open the tool and receive updates before choosing that route.

Local

What Guntur organisations might need from an app

Guntur is an export hub for chilli, cotton and tobacco. For an exporter with staff making deliveries or inspections, an app could give field workers forms for each job, with photos, signatures and location details that sync to the office when signal returns. That gives office staff job information without waiting for the field team to return.

Guntur also has autonomous colleges, including Jagarlamudi Kuppuswamy Chowdary College and RVR & JC College of Engineering. A college considering an app with user accounts and content should also plan the backend and an admin panel: staff need a way to edit content, look up users and block abusive accounts without calling a developer.

Rules

What an app project in India has to handle

Payment setup follows what you sell. UPI supports payments to merchants, so we can include it in the checkout for physical goods or services used outside the app. For digital content, features and subscriptions used inside an iPhone app, Apple requires in-app purchase; we set up in-app purchases and subscriptions on the stores. Some storefronts also allow links to outside payment options. Decide what customers are buying before the checkout flow is designed.

How it runs

How an app project runs with us

We work remotely from India using video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. You can review the work and give feedback without needing to meet us in person.

  1. 01

    Discover

Tell us about your business, audience and goals. We agree the scope with you so the screens and functions have a clear purpose before design starts.

  2. 02

    Design

Put the clickable prototype in front of a few customers or staff and bring their feedback back to us. Screen changes are cheaper at this stage than after the app is built.

  3. 03

    Build

We develop the agreed product and test it on real devices and browsers. You review the work as it takes shape; design, development and launch follow the same project process.

  4. 04

    Try the app

We send test builds to your phone through TestFlight or the Google Play internal or closed testing tracks. Use them for real tasks and tell us where a screen or flow needs attention.

  5. 05

    Submit

We handle store listings, submission and review under your own developer accounts. You keep access to those accounts as the app moves through release.

Checklist

What to have ready before we talk

Bring the details you have available; they will help us define the work.

  • List the website, CRM, booking system, ERP software and payment provider the app needs to connect to; note their APIs and who holds admin access.
  • Prepare a privacy policy that matches the data the app collects, for its listing and in-app link.
  • Plan Apple and Google developer accounts in your company’s name, including the D-U-N-S number needed for organisation verification.
  • For a new personal Google Play developer account, recruit at least 12 testers for the required closed test.
  • If the app has a login, prepare a working demo account and live backend for Apple’s review.

Cost & time

What affects the cost and timeline

The scope determines how much design, development and testing the project needs.

  • User roles

Customers, drivers and staff each need their own screens and permissions, even when they share a backend.

  • Live features

Tracking, chat or presence need persistent connections and more backend work than screens that load data on request.

  • Integrations

Each payment gateway, map, CRM, booking system or connected device needs setup, testing and failure handling.

  • Screen design

Custom animation, extra languages and tablet layouts add design and testing across screens.

  • User content

Posts or other user submissions need filtering, reporting, blocking and contact details for moderation.

Questions

Asked by businesses in Guntur

Page updated 5 November 2026

How much does it cost to develop an app?

There is no fixed price. The work changes with offline requirements and notification rules: showing last-loaded data without signal is a smaller task than editing records offline and resolving conflicts when they sync. Targeted notifications also need a sending service, recipient rules and user settings. Ask for a quote based on an agreed scope.

How do I choose an app development company?

Choose a team that can explain how the app will give people a reason to use it and how they will reach its main task. Apple’s guidelines caution against wrapping an existing website in an app shell. For an app without significant account-based features, people should also be able to use it without logging in.

Can the app use the same backend as my website?

Yes. We build a shared backend for your app, website and admin tools. Plan account deletion as part of that work: Apple expects people who create an account to be able to start deleting it in the app, while Google Play also requires a web link for deletion requests.

Will I own the app after it is built?

Yes. You own your code, content and domain, with no lock-in. Keep access to those assets so you can decide how the product is maintained as your needs change. Your ownership also means you are not tied to us for future work on the app.

What happens after the app is launched?

Launch is followed by support for bug fixes, operating-system updates and new features. Plan maintenance releases for Google Play’s Android API requirements too. To assess a release, look at how many people return, where they leave the main task and the crash-free rate, rather than counting downloads alone.
