Website redesign services in India

You get a redesigned website shaped around what your business in India needs to change. We review your existing content, structure, speed and search performance, then design mobile-first pages around your brand. The work starts by deciding whether the look, structure or platform needs attention. We involve you in reviewing which existing pages customers still use and where they should go.

What you get

What’s included in website redesign

  • Site audit

A review of content, structure, speed and search performance before anything changes.

  • Fresh design

A modern look built on your brand and designed mobile-first.

  • Platform migration

WordPress, Wix, Webflow or legacy sites moved to Next.js or a clean WordPress build.

  • Content transfer

Pages, posts, media and metadata carried across and tidied up.

  • Redirect mapping

Every old URL mapped to its new home, so links and rankings carry over.

  • Post-launch checks

Search Console and analytics reviewed after launch to catch issues early.

Tools we use: Next.js, WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Google Search Console.

Choosing

Should you refresh, rebuild or move your website?

A visual refresh suits a site whose content and structure still work. You keep the same platform and URLs, so there is less search risk than with a rebuild. The work stays focused on the design; it will not resolve editing limits or other problems in the platform itself.

A full rebuild suits a site whose content no longer reflects the business. It gives you room to reorganise the pages, but changing the structure means planning redirects for the old URLs. A phased redesign is an option for a large site: start with pages that bring enquiries, while accepting that the old and new designs will run side by side during the work.

A platform move suits a site held back by speed, plugins or limits on editing. We can move a Wix, Webflow or old WordPress site to a custom build or a clean WordPress setup. Choose the route after identifying what is holding the current site back and what you need your team to be able to change.

Market

What website owners in India need from a redesign

Your priorities depend on how your site has grown. A business with a slow site weighed down by plugins or page builders needs its content carried across to a cleaner build. A team that struggles to make routine edits needs a simpler editor, with structured fields for the information it changes most.

A merger or rebrand brings a different task: applying the new identity across the site and handling a domain change carefully if one is needed. An organisation whose site has grown page by page needs a clearer menu, deliberate decisions about duplicate pages and redirects for addresses that change.

How it runs

How a website redesign project runs with us

We work remotely with clients in other cities and countries. You can discuss the work with us over video calls and WhatsApp, and follow it on a shared project board.

  1. 01

    Discover and design

We learn about your business, audience and goals, then agree the scope with you. You review desktop and mobile designs before coding starts. We build the approved design in code or an editable CMS, test it on real devices and browsers, and handle launch setup and ongoing support.

  2. 02

    Audit and sitemap

We establish which pages will remain before design starts. You can see the proposed page structure before time is spent designing templates for content that will be removed.

  3. 03

    Preview and approval

We build on a private preview link while your current website stays live. You review the new site there, and we switch it over only after you approve.

  4. 04

    Post-launch checks

We review Search Console and analytics after the switch to catch issues early. You can use those checks to see what needs attention on the live site.

Checklist

What to have ready before we talk

Gather these details so we can understand the current site and plan its move.

  • AccessCurrent site, hosting, domain registrar and DNS accounts, so settings and content can be checked.
  • Search dataSearch Console and analytics access, with as much history as you have.
  • Printed and shared URLsAddresses used on packaging, brochures, QR codes, adverts or email signatures.
  • Connected toolsDetails and account access for forms, booking widgets, payment links, chat, newsletter sign-ups and tracking pixels.
  • Content decisionsIdentify discontinued services, outdated news and former staff profiles that can be retired.

Cost & time

What affects the cost and time of a redesign

The amount of work depends on what must change and what needs to move cleanly.

  • Content clean-up

Moving existing copy takes less work than rewriting, merging and reorganising pages.

  • Platform

A new design on the current system involves less work than moving content between systems with different structures.

  • Source content

Page-builder layouts, embedded shortcodes and hand-formatted posts take extra effort to transfer cleanly.

  • Custom features

Member areas, booking systems, calculators and complex forms need rebuilding if the new site must retain them.

  • Language versions

Each regional or language version adds URLs, redirects and checks to the move.

Avoid

Mistakes to avoid with website redesign

  • Missing or vague redirects

Old addresses can return errors when redirects are absent. Map each old URL to its relevant new page, instead of sending unrelated pages to the home page, and use a permanent redirect for a permanent move.

  • Incorrect search settings

Check that the live site does not retain the development site's noindex setting and that the staging copy is not open to search engines.

  • Lost tracking

Move analytics, advert conversion tags and call tracking to the new templates, so you retain the data used to assess the redesign.

Questions

Asked by businesses in India

Page updated 5 November 2026

How much does a website redesign cost?

There is no fixed price. The scope depends on the platform move and on connected items that need checking, such as form connections, tracking codes and the DNS records that keep company email working. A move from an existing platform to a custom or clean WordPress build also affects the work. Agree the scope before requesting a quote.

Will a redesign affect our search rankings?

Rankings can fluctuate while a site move is processed, so compare key pages with their performance before launch. Keep redirects in place for as long as possible; removing them to tidy up can interrupt paths from old addresses. Monitoring traffic and enquiries alongside rankings gives you a broader view of the changes.

Can we keep and improve our existing content?

Yes. We move your content across and suggest where it could be shortened or improved. For pages that already rank, decide deliberately what happens to their titles, descriptions, headings and structured data, so a new page template does not drop those details by default.

Who owns the redesigned website?

You own your domain, content and code, with no lock-in. As part of the redesign, we carry pages, posts, media and metadata across and tidy them up. That gives you ownership of the assets while keeping the existing material in view during the transfer.

Can we change our domain during the redesign?

Yes, but changing the domain adds a separate migration to the redesign work. For a move to a new domain, Google provides a Change of Address tool in Search Console. You do not need that tool when the domain stays the same and only page paths change.

What should we check after launch?

Watch Search Console for crawl errors and errors on old URLs, then add missing redirects as they appear. Update links you control, including your Google Business Profile, social profiles, directory listings and email signatures, so visitors can go directly to the new addresses.
