Choosing
Should you choose WordPress, custom development or a website builder?
A hosted builder such as Wix, Squarespace or Webflow suits a small site that you want to run yourself. It gives you a way to manage the site without handing structural work to a developer, but offers less control over code and speed. Moving away from the platform later can mean rebuilding the site.
WordPress suits a team that expects to edit a lot of content. A custom Next.js site suits a business that wants fast pages, tight security and a design without template limits, with a developer handling structural changes. A custom site can still include an editor, so your team does not have to ask a developer to make every content update.
Start with your editing habits. Decide who will update the site and how often before choosing the platform. We learn how your team works and recommend WordPress or Next.js on that basis, so the editing arrangement fits the people who will use it after launch.
Local
What Scottsdale businesses need from their websites
Tourism is Scottsdale’s primary employer. If your business serves visitors, make the relevant service information easy to find and decide where each enquiry goes, who receives it and what the visitor sees after submitting a form. Those decisions belong in the page plan and form setup.
Scottsdale has a major clinic campus. For an appointment-based practice, clear service pages, practitioner profiles and opening hours help visitors find the right information, while a booking or call option needs to work on a phone.
Companies headquartered in Scottsdale include manufacturers and business technology providers. If you supply other businesses, give buyers capability or product pages, certifications and downloadable specifications, alongside a quote form that asks for enough detail to let you respond.
Rules
What a US website project has to handle
US Department of Justice guidance says ADA Title III covers the goods and services that businesses open to the public offer on the web, and identifies WCAG as helpful guidance. We use that guidance when planning pages and forms, and set up clear headings and contact forms as part of the build. Before launch, you can review the pages and submit each form to confirm that messages reach the intended recipient.
How it runs
How a website project runs with us
We work remotely over video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. India is 12h30m ahead of Arizona, so the shared board gives you and the team a place to keep decisions and feedback available across the time difference.
- 01
Discover
We learn about your business, audience and goals. You tell us what the site needs to do, and we agree the scope with you before design starts.
- 02
Plan
We prepare wireframes to establish what belongs on each page and in what order. Give feedback on content and priorities at this stage; colours come later.
- 03
Design
We create the sitemap and page designs for desktop and mobile, then refine them using your feedback. Review the pages with the people who will approve them.
- 04
Build
We develop the site in clean code or with an editable CMS, then test it on real devices and browsers. Your team can see how the agreed pages work.
- 05
Launch
We set up the domain, email, analytics and Search Console, and give your team a walkthrough. You leave the project knowing where the launch settings sit.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
These details help us understand what the site needs to show and who will keep it current.
- Brand filesBring your logo in SVG, AI or EPS format, plus colours and fonts, or tell us which assets still need creating.
- PrioritiesList your services or products in order of business importance so the navigation and home page reflect them.
- Website examplesNote sites you like and dislike, with a reason for each choice.
- Account accessFind the login details for your domain, hosting, email and analytics, or identify who holds them.
- Proof of workGather case studies, permitted client logos, testimonials, certifications and memberships in a folder.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timeline of a website
The work changes with the design, content and material that needs to move into the new site.
Page templates
Distinct layouts take more design and build work than pages that share a template.
Content readiness
Copy and photos ready to publish keep the scope smaller; writing, photography or translation add work.
Existing content
Blog posts, news archives and downloadable files need moving and checking when they come from an old site.
Brand readiness
An existing logo and style guide reduce design effort compared with deciding the colours, typefaces and logo during the project.

Questions
Asked by businesses in Scottsdale
Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does it cost to have a website built?
There is no fixed price. A custom design for a specific audience takes a different approach from adapting a template for a simple brief. A separate content editor adds hosting and maintenance work, while arranging photography adds preparation. Once we agree the scope, we send you a free quote.
Is investing in website development still worthwhile?
A website is worth assessing against the enquiries you need it to handle. Track form submissions, calls and WhatsApp clicks in analytics, then check which pages those visitors started from. Clear service pages also give visitors information to scan and give your team a manageable set of pages to keep current.
Can you use our existing brand?
Yes. We build on your logo, colours and fonts, and prepare brand assets for the web where needed. Give us real headings and paragraphs during design: placeholder text can make a layout look finished even though the final content fits differently. Review the pages on a phone as well as a desktop.
Will we own the finished website?
Yes. You own the domain, content and code, with no lock-in. Keep a record of who holds the relevant account access within your business. Ownership gives you control of the site and its material after the project, including when your team needs to make decisions about future changes.
What do we receive at handover?
You receive a walkthrough for your team, along with the domain, email, analytics and Search Console setup. Ask for the search settings to be checked before launch: a missing sitemap or an indexing block left from development can keep a site out of search results. Also decide who will update news, projects and job posts.
