Choosing
Should you choose WordPress or a custom website?
WordPress suits a team that publishes often and wants to edit most of the site itself. Its choice of plugins gives you options for extending the site, but someone needs to keep it updated for security. Before choosing it, decide who will make routine changes and how much control they need over the pages.
A custom-coded site in Next.js suits a business that wants fast pages, tight security and a design without template limits. A developer will generally handle structural changes. A headless setup adds a separate content editor to a custom front end; it suits heavy editing, although there are more moving parts to host and maintain.
A hosted builder such as Wix, Squarespace or Webflow suits a small site that you want to run alone. You get less control over code and speed, and moving away later can mean rebuilding. If you work with us, we recommend WordPress or Next.js after understanding how your team works.
Local
What Rhondda organisations need from a website
Wales’s economy includes public-sector organisations and service industries. For an organisation serving people in Rhondda, the page structure needs to help visitors find the right service and understand how to get in touch. We plan the sitemap and page structure alongside the editor, forms, search setup and launch, with an owner for each part.
Tourism supports rural economies in Wales. If you run a tourism business serving Rhondda visitors, decide which services or products you want to feature first, then give people a clear route to enquire. We set up contact forms for the right inbox and add WhatsApp or click-to-call options for people using a phone.
Rules
What a UK website needs to handle
If yours is a UK limited company, its website must show its registered number, registered office address, place of registration and limited-company status. We include space for those details in the build, using the information you supply.
Organisations providing services through a website must make reasonable adjustments for disabled people. We plan the page structure and review the desktop and mobile designs with you, so access needs are considered during the design work.
How it runs
How a website project runs with us
We work remotely over video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. India is ahead of UK time, with the gap changing during British Summer Time. The shared board gives you a place to leave feedback across that time difference.
- 01
Discover
Tell us who buys from you, why they choose you and what visitors should do. Those answers help shape the sitemap.
- 02
Plan the pages
We prepare wireframes before visual design. Review the content and its order first; colours come later.
- 03
Review on a phone
Check every page at phone size as well as on a large screen, so your feedback covers the mobile experience.
- 04
Check before launch
Proofread each page, submit each form and confirm who receives its messages. This gives you a chance to catch small errors before visitors see them.
- 05
Launch and hand over
We set up your domain, email, analytics and Search Console, then walk your team through the setup.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk

- Brand filesYour logo in vector format, colours and fonts, or a note that they still need creating.
- Content ownersDecide who will gather service descriptions, team biographies, case studies and photos.
- PhotosCollect images of your team, premises and finished work, or plan a photo shoot.
- ExamplesBring websites you like and dislike, with a short reason for each choice.
- Account accessFind the login details for your domain, hosting, email, analytics and Search Console, or identify who holds them.
- Proof of workGather case studies, testimonials, certifications and client logos you have permission to show.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timeline?
The scope determines the work involved in design, build and preparation.
Brand readiness
An existing logo and style guide need less design effort than settling the logo, colours and typefaces during the project.
Content
Copy and photos ready to publish keep the scope smaller; adding copywriting, photography or translation makes it bigger.
Design stages
The sitemap, wireframes and desktop and mobile page designs each need decisions and feedback.
Search setup
Page titles, descriptions, heading structure and an XML sitemap take less effort during the build than as later fixes.

Questions
Asked by businesses in Rhondda
Page updated 5 November 2026
Is paying for a website still worth it?
A website gives potential customers a way to check what you offer before they contact you. For a professional services firm, service and partner pages can show the expertise and credentials buyers look for. Keeping the site focused on clear service pages also makes it easier for your team to keep current.
How much does it cost to have a website built?
There is no fixed price: the scope determines the work. Distinct page templates and features such as booking, member logins or a CRM connection add design, build and testing effort. We agree the scope with you before discussing a quote, so the work being priced is clear.
Can you use our existing brand?
Yes. We build on your existing logo, colours and fonts, and prepare brand assets for the web where needed. Bring the files you already use and tell us which parts of the brand should carry through to the site; that gives the design work a clear starting point.
Will we own the website?
Yes. You own the domain, content and code, with no lock-in. Hold the domain and hosting accounts in your business’s name and grant access to the people working on the site. That keeps those accounts under your control when you need to make changes later.
What should we do after the site launches?
Decide who will keep the site updated and check how enquiries arrive. You can track form submissions, calls and WhatsApp clicks as conversions in analytics, then review which pages visitors started from. Give someone responsibility for news, projects and job posts so those sections stay current.
