Choosing
Should you choose WordPress or a custom website?
WordPress suits a team that publishes often and wants to edit much of the site itself. Its choice of plugins gives you flexibility, though someone needs to keep it updated for security. A custom Next.js site is faster and more secure, and can still include an editor for your team.
A hosted builder such as Wix, Squarespace or Webflow suits a small site that you want to run alone. You give up some control over code and speed, and a later move away from the platform can mean rebuilding the site. That trade-off is worth considering before you put a large amount of content into it.
A headless setup pairs a custom front end with a separate editor. It suits a site that needs speed and frequent editing, but adds moving parts to host and maintain. We recommend WordPress or a custom Next.js site after learning who will make updates and how your team works.
Local
What North Las Vegas organisations need from a website
Manufacturing, industrial and distribution companies are established in North Las Vegas, alongside growing high-tech and custom manufacturing businesses. If you supply other businesses, useful pages include your capabilities, product specifications and certifications. A quote form should ask for enough detail for your team to respond without starting the conversation from scratch.
The city is also home to the Cheyenne Campus of the College of Southern Nevada. An education organisation needs a clear page structure so visitors can find the information they came for, as well as enquiry routes that reach the people responsible for answering. Plan those routes alongside the sitemap and content editor.
Rules
What a US website project has to handle
For a business open to the public, US Department of Justice guidance says ADA Title III covers goods and services offered on the web, and identifies WCAG as helpful guidance. We use that guidance when setting up page structure and contact forms, alongside clear headings and page descriptions. Discuss the content and enquiry routes early so the design and build can account for them before launch. The guidance does not prescribe a detailed web standard for these businesses.
How it runs
How a website project runs with us
We work remotely over video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. India is 13h30m ahead of Pacific time in winter and 1 hour less during daylight saving time. The shared board gives both teams a place to review progress and leave feedback across that gap.
- 01
Discover
Tell us who buys from you, why they choose you and what you want visitors to do. Those answers shape the sitemap.
- 02
Plan
We make wireframes before visual designs. Review the content and order of each page at this stage; colours come later.
- 03
Design
We create desktop and mobile page designs and refine them with your feedback. Review the pages on a phone as well as a larger screen.
- 04
Build
We develop the site or an editable CMS and test it on real devices and browsers. We route contact and quote forms to the right inbox and add WhatsApp or click-to-call.
- 05
Launch
Proofread the pages, submit each form and confirm who receives its messages. We set up the domain, email, analytics and Search Console, then walk your team through them.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Real content helps us design layouts that fit what you need to say.
- Your logo in SVG, AI or EPS format, plus colours and fonts, or a note that these need creating.
- A ranked list of the services or products you want to feature.
- Your goal for the site and the person responsible for each type of enquiry.
- Access details for your domain, hosting, email, analytics and Search Console, or the name of the account holder.
- Sites you like and dislike, with a short explanation of why.
- A folder of case studies, permitted client logos, testimonials and certifications.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timeline of a website
The scope of the work shapes the effort involved.
Page templates
Distinct layouts need separate design and build work; pages sharing a template take less effort.
Content readiness
Copy and photos ready to publish keep the scope smaller; adding copywriting, photography or translation increases it.
Migration
Moving old blog posts, news archives and downloadable files adds transfer and checking work.
Brand readiness
An existing logo and style guide reduce design work compared with a brand whose colours and typefaces still need decisions.

Questions
Asked by businesses in North Las Vegas
Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does it cost to get a website built?
There is no fixed price. The choice of a custom design or adapted template, the content that needs gathering, and the brand assets available all affect the work. Agree early who will provide service descriptions, photos and other material. We send a free quote once the scope is agreed.
Is web development still worth it?
A website is useful when it gives visitors clear service information and a way to contact you. Set a goal you can measure: track form submissions, calls and WhatsApp clicks in analytics, then check which pages visitors started from. Clear service pages are also easier for your team to keep current.
Will my team be able to edit the website?
Yes. We build in WordPress when your team needs full editing control, or use Next.js for custom development with an editor for content. Your team can update pages, news, projects and careers without training. Decide who will make those changes and how often before settling on a platform.
Will we own the finished website?
Yes. You own the domain, content and code. Keep the domain and hosting accounts in your business's name and grant access to the people working on the site. That gives your team control of the accounts if you later decide to work with someone else.
What happens after the site launches?
Ongoing support follows launch. You should also name someone on your team to update news, project pages and job posts as your business changes. An old latest post can leave visitors wondering if you are still trading, so make content upkeep part of that person's responsibilities.
