Choosing
Should you choose WordPress, a custom site or a website builder?
WordPress suits a team that publishes often and wants to edit most of the site itself. Its plugins give you a wide choice of functions, but someone needs to keep them and the platform updated for security. A custom-coded site in Next.js suits a business that wants fast pages and a design without template limits. Your team needs to be happy for a developer to handle structural changes.
A hosted builder such as Wix, Squarespace or Webflow suits a small site you want to run yourself. You have less control over code and speed, and moving away later can mean rebuilding. An adapted template also suits a simple site with a tight brief, provided its pages are reworked around your actual content. Choose a custom design when your brand, content or audience calls for something specific.
Your editing habits should guide the decision. We learn how your team works before recommending WordPress or a custom Next.js build, so the choice reflects who will maintain the site as well as what visitors see.
Local
What Las Vegas businesses need from a website
Tourism, gaming and conventions drive the local economy. For a business serving those audiences, the site needs clear information about what is offered and an enquiry route that works on a phone. Decide who receives each quote request, what the confirmation says and whether a visitor should see a WhatsApp or click-to-call button.
Public institutions serving the city include UNLV, the College of Southern Nevada, Nevada State University and the Desert Research Institute. An organisation with news and careers content needs an editor its team can use to keep those pages current. It also helps to choose the action each page should invite, such as a call or a job application, and identify who handles the response.
Rules
What a United States website project has to handle
For a business open to the public, US guidance says the ADA covers goods and services offered on the web and identifies WCAG as helpful guidance. We agree an accessibility target in the brief and use its criteria when designing the pages and forms. The W3C encourages using the latest WCAG version.
For a state or local government website, the applicable target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We set up the page and form designs against that target as part of the build.
How it runs
How your website project runs with us
We work remotely over video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. India is 13h30m ahead of Pacific time in winter and 1 hour less ahead during daylight saving time. Shared boards let you leave feedback for us across that time difference.
- 01
Discover
Tell us who buys from you, why they choose you and what you want visitors to do. Those answers guide the sitemap.

We make wireframes before visual designs. Review the content and its order at this stage; colours come later.
- 03
Build
We write the code or set up an editable CMS, then test the site on real devices and browsers.
- 04
Review
Proofread every page, submit each form and confirm who receives its messages before launch.
- 05
Launch and care
We handle the domain, email, analytics and search setup, followed by ongoing support.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring what you have, including notes on anything still being prepared.
- List your services or products in order of business priority.
- Share sites you like and dislike, with a short reason for each.
- Find the logins for your domain, hosting, email, analytics and Search Console, or identify who holds them.
- Gather real photos of your team, premises and finished work; book photography ahead if needed.
- Bring vector logo files, brand colours and fonts, or note which assets still need creating.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timing of your website
The scope of the work shapes both the effort and the time needed.
Content migration
Moving old posts, news archives and downloadable files adds transfer and checking work.
Brand readiness
An existing logo and style guide leave less design work than deciding colours, typefaces and a logo during the project.
Content production
Copy and photos ready to publish keep the scope smaller; writing, photography or translation add work.
Layout revisions
Designing with placeholder text can lead to rework when the real headings and paragraphs arrive.

Questions
Asked by businesses in Las Vegas
Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does it cost to have a website built?
There is no fixed price. The number of distinct page templates and the work needed to gather service descriptions, team bios, case studies and photos are major drivers. Pages sharing a template need less design and build work than pages with different layouts. We send a free quote once the scope is agreed.
Is a website still worth building?
A website gives you a place to present your services and make them easier to find in search. A shorter site with clear service pages is also easier to keep current. Before launch, check for an indexing block left from development; it can keep the site out of search results.
Can you use our existing brand?
Yes. We build on your existing logo, colours and fonts, and prepare brand assets for the web where needed. That gives the page design a starting point based on the identity you already use, while letting us prepare those assets for use on the site.
Will we own the website?
Yes. You own the domain, content and code. At handover, we set up the domain, email, analytics and Search Console and give your team a walkthrough. Ask the person who currently holds the relevant accounts to take part so your team knows where the launch settings are managed.
Who updates and measures the site after launch?
Choose someone on your team to keep news, projects and job posts current. In analytics, track form submissions, calls and WhatsApp clicks as conversions, then check which pages those enquiries started from. This gives you a practical way to review the site against the actions you want visitors to take.
