Choosing
Should you choose WordPress, a custom site or a website builder?
WordPress suits a team that publishes often and wants to edit most of the site itself. Its plugins offer plenty of choice, though you will need to keep them updated for security. A custom Next.js site is faster and more secure, and can still have an editor. We recommend an approach after understanding who will update your site and how they work.
A hosted builder such as Wix, Squarespace or Webflow suits a small site you want to run on your own. You have less control over code and speed, and moving away later can mean rebuilding. Design is a separate choice: a custom design fits a specific brand, audience or content need, while an adapted template suits a simple site with a tight brief. In either case, use your real content to shape the pages.
Local
What Miami Gardens organisations need from a website
Miami Gardens is home to St. Thomas University and Florida Memorial University. For a university website, clear page designs for desktop and mobile help visitors find their way through the content. We refine the sitemap and wireframes with your feedback, so you can check the structure before the visual design is settled.
Hard Rock Stadium is a multipurpose venue in Miami Gardens. An organisation handling enquiries for a venue needs to decide where messages go, who receives them and what the confirmation says. Those decisions belong in the build, alongside the choice of whether to show WhatsApp or click-to-call buttons on mobile.
Rules
Accessibility in a United States website project
For businesses open to the public, US guidance says the ADA covers goods and services offered on the web and identifies WCAG as helpful guidance. Agree an accessibility target in the brief. We set up a clear heading structure and use the agreed target to guide page design, with WCAG’s A, AA and AAA levels available for that discussion. The W3C encourages using the latest version.
How it runs
How a website project runs with us
We work remotely over video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. India is 10h30m ahead of Eastern time in winter and 1 hour less during daylight saving time. The shared board gives both sides a place to review work and leave feedback across that difference.

Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
A few decisions and files make the first discussion more useful.
- Your main goal, such as quote requests or calls, and who handles each enquiry.
- The services or products to feature, ranked by importance.
- Vector logo files, brand colours and fonts, or a note that they still need creating.
- Examples of websites you like and dislike, with a reason for each choice.
- Account details for your domain, hosting, email and search tools, or the name of the person who holds them.
- A folder of case studies, permitted client logos, testimonials and certifications.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and time of website design and development
The scope determines how much design, build and checking work is needed.
Page templates
Distinct layouts take more design and build work than pages that share a template.
Features
Booking, calculators, member logins, several languages or a CRM connection each add work to design, build and test.
Content
Copy and photos ready to publish keep the work smaller; adding copywriting, photography or translation expands it.
Migration
Blog posts, news archives and downloadable files from an old site need moving and checking.

Questions
Asked by businesses in Miami Gardens
Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does it cost to have a website built?
There is no fixed price. The work depends on the scope of the site, how ready your content is and the setup you choose. A separate content editor and custom front end, for example, introduce more moving parts to host and maintain. We send a free quote once the scope is agreed.
Will I own my website?
Yes. You own the domain, content and code. Keep the domain and hosting accounts in your business’s name and grant access to the people working on the site. That way, you retain control of those accounts when you need to make changes or work with someone else.
Can you use our existing brand?
Yes. We build on your existing logo, colours and fonts, and prepare brand assets for the web where needed. Bring the files you have to the discussion, along with any gaps you already know about, so we can see what is ready to use in the page designs.
What search setup is included?
We include metadata, structured data and sitemaps in the build. Before launch, check that an indexing block used during development has been removed: leaving one in place can keep a new site out of search results. Search setup prepares the site for discovery; it does not promise a ranking.
Can my team update the site after launch?
Yes. We provide an editor your team can use for pages, news, projects and careers without training, and a launch walkthrough. Decide who will keep those sections current, especially job posts and news, so an old entry does not leave visitors wondering whether you are still trading.
