Web application development in India
Get a web application built around the work your users need to do, with screens for their tasks and an internal dashboard for your team. We build the product from an agreed feature list. As a web, app and AI studio in India, we work directly with you, so you can speak to the people designing and building your application.

Choosing
Which technology should you choose for your web app?
The choice starts with the product and the skills available to maintain it. We build with TypeScript across the front end, back end, database and APIs, using a stack such as Next.js, React, Node.js and PostgreSQL. Next.js and React suit products with rich interfaces. If your existing team already works in PHP, Ruby or Python, Laravel, Rails or Django could fit its skills more closely.
Hosting involves a trade-off. Managed platforms such as Vercel, Supabase or Firebase reduce setup and server upkeep. Running directly on AWS or Google Cloud gives you more control and can cost less at scale, but it also leaves more operations work for the team responsible for the product.
For a product with several customers, decide how their data will be stored. A shared database is simpler to run; a separate database for each customer suits buyers with strict isolation or data-location requirements. We help you make these choices as the same team handles design, development and launch.
Market
What buyers in India may expect from a web app
Your payment flow should fit the people using it. UPI supports mobile person-to-merchant payments, so we can include a UPI payment option in the checkout alongside the account and subscription flow. Agree which payments the product needs to collect before designing those screens.
The rest of the product depends on your business. A firm turning a repeatable service into software needs its working process captured in client-facing workflows. An established business launching a digital product may need that work handled without drawing its own staff away from their daily responsibilities. Describe those users and responsibilities early, so the screens reflect the work they actually need to complete.
Rules
What payment handling needs to cover in India
If your product aggregates customer payments for merchants, the Reserve Bank of India requires non-bank payment aggregators to be authorised. That affects the payment flow you choose for the application. We set up billing using a proven payment service and can use an authorised aggregator such as Razorpay or Cashfree Payments. During scoping, we need to understand who receives each payment and how the product handles it, so that the checkout reflects the arrangement.
How it runs
How a web app project runs with us
We are in India too and work remotely with clients in other cities and countries. You can discuss the work with us over video calls and WhatsApp, and follow it on a shared project board.
- 01
Scope
We turn your idea into a feature list and agree what the first version needs. You help us identify the tasks that users need to complete in that release.
- 02
Design
We create flows and screens for onboarding, dashboards and settings. You review the proposed experience and tell us where it does not match the way your users work.
- 03
Build and review
Each increment goes to a staging site. You try real tasks there and approve changes before they reach users.
- 04
Test
We test on real devices and browsers. Your feedback helps us refine the screens before the product goes live.
- 05
Prepare for launch
We set up deployment, error tracking and backups before launch. You can review the product with those arrangements in place before users start relying on it.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring what you have about the users, the current process and any existing product assets.
- Users and tasksWho will use the product, what job do they need done, and how do they do it today?
- Current toolsNote the alternatives users piece together and what is missing from them.
- Existing assetsGather designs, prototypes, code, your domain and hosting details, with admin access to the relevant accounts.
- Data constraintsIdentify personal or sensitive data, your customers and any security reviews they will ask for.
- First releaseList the account and billing tasks you think your first users will need.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timeline of web app development
The scope of the product determines how much needs to be designed, built and tested.
Roles and permissions
More rules add work, especially when customers invite users and manage their own teams.
Live features
Collaborative editing, live dashboards and chat need extra infrastructure and testing.
Large data jobs
Imports, exports and reports over large data sets need background jobs and performance work.
Internal administration
Tools for looking up accounts, adjusting plans and switching features on or off need their own screens and rules.
Avoid
Mistakes to avoid with web app development
Leaving customer data separation until later
Decide how customers’ data will be separated in the first version, before adding more features around it.
Releasing without a safe test environment
Use staging and test your backups, so a release or mistake does not immediately become a live incident.
Launching without product analytics
Track sign-ups, activation steps and feature use from the first release, so your team has evidence for its next decisions.
Building every account and payment component from scratch
Consider proven sign-in and billing services before spending the budget on work that those services already cover.
Questions
Asked by businesses in India
Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does web application development cost?
There is no fixed price. Integrations with other products and a public API add development, documentation and support work. Enterprise requirements such as single sign-on, audit logs and security questionnaires also affect the scope. Once we have agreed what your product needs, ask us for a quote.
Can you build a first version of my SaaS idea?
Yes. We help you decide what the first version must include, build it and plan what comes next. Pay attention to the first screens: sample data and useful empty states help a new user reach the point where the product becomes useful, even before their account contains much information.
What is included in accounts and subscription billing?
Accounts cover sign-up and login, with details such as password reset and email verification to plan as well. Subscription billing needs decisions about plans, trials, upgrades, downgrades, invoices and tax. We also need to agree what happens when a card payment fails and what the user sees at that point.
Can you take over an existing web application?
Yes. We start by reviewing the code and infrastructure, then fix what matters most. Security work starts from the OWASP Top 10, which identifies common application risks such as broken access control and injection. An existing product gives us a codebase and infrastructure to review before deciding what work comes first.
Who owns the code and product accounts?
You do. The code, repositories, hosting accounts and data belong to you. That ownership gives you access to the assets needed to operate the product and make decisions about its future. Keep track of the relevant accounts and their access as the application is built and launched.
What support is available after launch?
We provide ongoing support after setting up the domain, email and analytics at launch. Frameworks, libraries and hosting still need regular security updates when no new features are planned. You can also track activation, retention and churn alongside revenue to see whether users reach value and keep returning.
