What you get
What’s included in outsourcing & white-label development
White-label delivery
Websites and apps built for your clients under your agency's name.
Dedicated developers
Developers who work your hours overlap, in your tools and stand-ups.
Project delivery
Fixed-scope projects delivered end to end with weekly demos.
Contracts & IP
NDA, code ownership and access handed to you.
Communication
One project lead, written updates and a call at an agreed overlap time.
Tools we use: Next.js, React, Node.js, WordPress, Shopify.
Choosing
Should you choose a fixed project or dedicated developers?
Choose a fixed-scope project when you have a defined build to hand over and want us to deliver it end to end. We give weekly demos, so you can review work against the agreed scope as it progresses. You will need to put effort into defining that scope before delivery starts and reviewing the work as it is presented.
Dedicated developers fit an ongoing stream of work where your priorities shift. They work in your tools and stand-ups, with an agreed overlap with your hours. You direct their work, so allow management time for assigning tasks and answering questions. If you have a technical lead, placing developers inside that team is an option; if you want less delivery management, a managed team with its own lead is another.
You also choose how visible we are. A fully white-label arrangement keeps us out of your end-client relationship; an open arrangement lets us join client calls and can help decisions move faster. We start by learning about your business, audience and goals, then agree the scope with you.
Market
What buyers in the United States need from a delivery partner
E-commerce brands may need an outside team to handle store development, integrations and campaign pages alongside their existing operation. For a store selling across states, the checkout needs attention: 45 US states and the District of Columbia levy a statewide sales tax, while Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire and Oregon have no statewide sales tax. We set up the checkout tax settings around the states where the seller needs to collect tax. Give us the selling requirements before the checkout is built, so they are included in the work you review.
Rules
What the project needs to handle
If your project involves protected health information on behalf of a covered entity, the HIPAA Privacy Rule requires a written agreement with the business associate that documents safeguards for that information. We set up the agreement and define the information handling it needs to cover before that work begins.
For a financial institution under FTC jurisdiction, the Safeguards Rule requires service-provider safeguards by contract and periodic assessment. We set out the safeguards in the contract and provide for their assessment, so the outsourced work has an agreed framework for handling customer information.
How it runs
How a project runs with us
We work remotely through video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. India is 10h30m ahead of Eastern time in winter, so we agree an overlap for calls and use written progress notes, blockers and questions between them. You can respond when your working day starts.
- 01
Pilot
Start with a small paid piece, such as a feature or landing page. You can judge communication, code quality and timekeeping before handing over more work.
- 02
Kick-off
Agree the tools, overlap, update format, escalation contacts and definition of done in writing. Tell us who should resolve questions that block delivery.
- 03
Design and build
We prepare desktop and mobile designs for your feedback before coding, then build with code or an editable CMS and test on real devices and browsers.
- 04
Review
Check the work on a staging site against the acceptance criteria. Send feedback as tickets, with screenshots or screen recordings showing what needs attention.
- 05
Launch
We set up the domain, email, analytics and search, then provide ongoing support. Agree who on your side will review the launch work.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring the requirements and access decisions that will let both teams agree what delivery involves.
- Client requirementsGather the end client’s brief, approval steps and any subcontracting, confidentiality or data terms that apply.
- Owned accountsHave your code hosting, cloud hosting, domain and third-party service accounts ready for the work.
- Access planGive each person an account with only the permissions they need, use two-factor sign-in and remove access when they leave.
- Acceptance criteriaList the browsers and devices to check, what a finished item must do and who signs it off.
- Contract termsCover confidentiality, intellectual property, and what happens to code and access when the engagement ends.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and delivery effort
The delivery model and the standard you need both affect the work involved.
Stable requirements
A fixed scope works when requirements and acceptance tests are clear. Changes during the project need a change request.
Changing priorities
Dedicated capacity suits ongoing work, but you need time to direct it and manage the changing queue.
Skills needed
The mix of design, front-end, back-end and mobile work, as well as the experience required, affects how the work is staffed.
Quality targets
Test coverage, accessibility, performance and the browsers and devices you support all add checks to the build.
Avoid
Mistakes to avoid when outsourcing
A vague brief
Write the requirements down and ask the delivery team to confirm its understanding. That gives you a chance to correct assumptions before they become work.
No shared working window
Agree a regular overlap. Without it, a question that needs an answer can hold up the work while the other team is offline.
Work held in vendor accounts
Keep repositories, hosting and domains in accounts you control, so access remains clear when the engagement changes or ends.
Unclear subcontracting
Ask who will do the work and whether it will be passed to third parties. Put the answer in the contract.

Questions
Asked by businesses in United States
Page updated 5 November 2026
What is white label web development?
It is development delivered under your agency’s brand, using your way of working. That includes following your project templates, coding standards and client-facing tone. Where agreed, we also use your email domain or ticketing tools, so the delivery process fits the way you already work with clients.
How much does white-label development cost?
There is no fixed price. The main drivers include how clearly the scope is specified, the integrations with existing systems and the condition of any code we take over. Consider management and rework as well as the quoted rate. Once the scope is agreed, we can prepare a quote.
Is outsourcing development a good choice?
It is a useful option when you have work or capacity to hand over against agreed standards and communication rules. For example, an established business can add developers for a backlog, while a software company can assign an outside team a defined product area such as an integration or admin area.
What is included in the delivery arrangement?
You get a project lead, written updates and calls at an agreed overlap time. The arrangement can also include dedicated developers working with your team. At the outset, agree what you expect in each update and who on your side will answer questions or make delivery decisions.
Who owns the code and project access?
You do. We provide an NDA and hand code ownership and access to you. Discuss the handover terms before work begins, including what access you need at the end of the engagement, so the agreement reflects how you intend to continue maintaining the product.
What happens after launch?
Ongoing care needs an agreed division of responsibility. Before launch, decide who fixes bugs, how quickly they should be answered and who handles hosting, updates and monitoring. After each project, review code quality, estimate accuracy and communication before deciding to continue, expand the arrangement or bring the work in-house.
