Mobile app development company in India for iOS apps
You get an iPhone app with screens shaped around how your customers or staff will use it. We plan the app, its accounts and data, and the App Store setup, including a decision on iPad support. As a studio in India, MSH Technologies works with you directly: you speak to the people who design and build your product.

Choosing
Should you build a native or cross-platform app?
A native Swift app with SwiftUI suits a product built for iPhone, particularly when Apple features such as widgets, Apple Watch or HealthKit are central to it. The trade-off is that an Android app needs a separate build. Before choosing iPhone first, check your website analytics or customer surveys for evidence that your intended users carry iPhones.
React Native or Flutter suits a product that needs Android soon. Most code can be shared across both platforms, while native Swift modules can cover features the framework does not support. That gives you a different route to supporting both platforms, with native work still needed for some features.
Decide how the app should work on iPad too. A scaled-up iPhone layout is an option; a dedicated layout with side-by-side panes suits work at a desk or counter, such as ordering or field reporting. We start with your business, audience and goals, then agree the scope with you before choosing what to build.
Market
What might your customers and staff in India expect?
Your app’s useful features depend on who opens it. A consumer brand whose customers mostly carry iPhones might offer loyalty, reordering and Apple Pay checkout. Clinics, studios and hospitality businesses might need bookings, reminders or Wallet passes for tickets and memberships. Health and wellbeing products can call for HealthKit or Apple Watch features and careful handling of sensitive personal data.
UPI is a mobile option for person-to-person and person-to-merchant payments. If your app needs it, we connect the app to your payment system through its back end and APIs. For staff using company devices, the work might instead centre on inspections, sales visits or stock checks.
Rules
What does an iOS app project in India need for payments?
If your checkout uses a non-bank payment aggregator to collect customer payments for merchants, that aggregator must be authorised. Razorpay and Cashfree Payments have received final authorisation. We set up the connection to your chosen payment system using test access, so development builds do not touch live customer data. Have that access ready for us; it lets the checkout work be tested against the system your app will use.
How it runs
How an iOS app development project runs with us
We work with you remotely, using video calls, WhatsApp and a shared project board. You can review the work and give feedback without needing to meet us in person.
- 01
Discover, design and build
We learn about your business and audience, agree the scope with you, and refine screen designs with your feedback before coding. We then build and test the product on real devices and browsers.
- 02
Prepare for review
If the app has a login, we make sure reviewers have a working demo account and a live back end. We check for placeholder content, broken links and crashes before submission.
- 03
Submit
We prepare the App Store listing, submit the app for review and fix issues raised in a rejection. You help us confirm the details that represent your product on the listing.
- 04
Release updates
A phased release can give an update to a growing share of users with automatic updates. It can be paused if crash reports rise.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Gather the details you have; we can discuss the gaps when we agree the scope.
- Developer enrolmentFor an organisation account, have your D-U-N-S number, legal entity name and public website on your own domain.
- Seller nameDecide between an organisation account, which shows the company, and an individual account, which shows the person’s legal name.
- Privacy policyPrepare a policy covering collection, sharing and deletion requests, linked inside the app and in App Store Connect.
- Privacy detailsIdentify data collected by the app and its third-party SDKs for the App Store listing answers.
- Listing materialGather the name, subtitle, keywords, description, supported-device screenshots and support URL. A preview video is optional.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timeline?
The scope determines the design, build and testing work involved.
Apple surfaces
Dedicated iPad layouts, widgets, Apple Watch, Siri shortcuts and Live Activities each add work beyond the iPhone screens.
Android plans
A cross-platform build supports a later Android release differently from a Swift-only app, which needs a separate Android codebase.
Back end and admin panel
These can be as large as the app itself. An existing back end with a documented API reduces that work.
Future uploads
Apple periodically raises its minimum Xcode and SDK versions, so a stable app may need rebuilding and retesting before its next update.
Avoid
Mistakes to avoid with iOS apps
Forcing an early sign-up
Let people use an app without logging in when it has no significant account-based features.
Sending promotions without consent
Ask people to opt in inside the app and give them an in-app way to opt out.
Using vague permission prompts
Explain why the app needs the camera, location, contacts or photos, and ask when the request has context.
Forgetting an SDK’s privacy impact
Review what each analytics or advertising SDK collects and update the App Store privacy answers when needed.
Questions
Asked by businesses in India
Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does it cost to develop an iOS app?
There is no fixed price. Hardware features such as Bluetooth, NFC, camera scanning or background location add build and testing work. Apple Pay, Wallet passes, HealthKit and other Apple features also bring their own design, code, testing and review work. Once the scope is agreed, you can request a quote.
How should I choose an app development company?
Choose a team that can explain its proposed build in terms of your product’s needs. Ask how it would decide between native and cross-platform development, and how that decision fits your users. If the app is for your own staff, discuss private distribution through Apple Business or Apple School Manager as well.
What account features need to be included?
If people can create an account, they must be able to start deleting it and its personal data inside the app; temporary deactivation is not enough. If the main sign-in uses Google or another third-party login, Apple requires an equivalent privacy-preserving option. Sign in with Apple is the usual choice.
Will I own the app code?
Yes. You own your code, content and domain, with no lock-in. When discussing the project, ask how the code and other materials will be handed over, and make sure the people responsible for your business’s accounts know where those materials are kept. That gives you a clear record for future work.
What support is available after launch?
We handle updates for new iOS versions, bug fixes and new features after launch. App Store Connect shows listing impressions, downloads, conversion from listing to install and crashes. You can pair those figures with in-app analytics to see what people do after installing, then use that information when discussing future changes.
Can I test the app before it goes live?
Yes. TestFlight lets you install development builds on your own iPhone and try the app before release. Friendly customers or other external testers can join once Apple has reviewed the first beta build. Their feedback gives you another view of the screens and flows before the public release.
