API integration services in the United States
We build APIs and integrations that move data between the systems you use to run your business in the United States. That can include a custom API for partners, scheduled or real-time data sync, and field mapping for records that use different names or formats. You work directly with the people designing and building the connection, so decisions about the flow stay close to the work.

Choosing
Should you use a connector, an integration platform or custom code?
Check for an official connector first. If it covers the flow you need, it can save you the work of building and maintaining a custom connection. For a simple, low-volume flow that your staff need to adjust, an integration platform such as Zapier or Make is another option. Custom code gives you more control over complex logic, high volumes and strict error handling, but there is more to build.
The direction of the data is a separate decision. A one-way sync is simpler and safer; a two-way sync needs agreed rules for conflicts when the same record changes in both systems. Direct connections work for a few systems, while a central integration service helps avoid a tangle of links as you add more. If a system has no API, exports or email can often provide a route for moving data. We start by learning your goals and agreeing the scope with you, so the choice follows the work the connection needs to do.
Market
What do buyers in the United States need from integrations?
Your priorities depend on the records your staff use. Online shops need their store, inventory, accounting and courier systems to keep stock, invoices and tracking aligned without re-keying. A B2B sales team may need website enquiries to reach the CRM, then flow into quotes and invoices in the accounting system.
Payment timing also affects the flow. FedNow lets participating banks and credit unions transfer money instantly for customers at any time of day, on any day of the year. Finance teams need payment and bank data matched to invoices, so establish how that data reaches the accounting software when you plan the connection.
Rules
What should a United States payment integration handle?
Stripe lists the United States among the countries where businesses can sign up to accept payments. If Stripe is the gateway you choose, we set up the payment gateway integration and agree which payment information needs to move into your other systems. That scope gives the connection a defined job: accepting payments through the selected gateway and passing the relevant information into the flow you have agreed with us.
How it runs
How an integration project runs with us
Our studio is in India and we work remotely. India is ahead of mainland US time zones, with the gap changing during daylight saving time; video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards keep decisions and work visible across that gap.
- 01
Agree the mapping
We document fields, rules and edge cases. The people who own each system review and sign off the mapping before it becomes the basis for the connection.
- 02
Build and test
We work against sandbox accounts and test awkward cases such as refunds, partial shipments and merged customers before touching live data. You help identify the cases your systems need to handle.
- 03
Move to live sync
Go-live often begins with a backfill of historical records, followed by the switch to live sync. We watch the monitoring closely at first as the connection starts handling current records.
- 04
Handle failures
We add logging, retries and alerts so failed syncs are flagged and handled. You identify the person who will respond when an alert needs attention.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Bring what you have, so we can agree the scope with the right people and systems in view.
- List the CRM, ERP, accounting, email or marketplace connections you want to discuss.
- Note each system’s plan or edition and whether it includes API access; some vendors reserve access for higher tiers.
- Identify the owner of each system and the vendor support contacts who can answer questions about limits and permissions.
- Arrange admin access or API credentials under a business-owned service account, plus sandbox accounts where available.
- Decide who should receive a failed-sync alert and how quickly someone needs to act on it.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timing of an integration?
The work involved comes from the records, payment setup and behaviour the connection needs to handle.
Historical records
A large backfill adds work to move existing data and check that totals match on both sides.
Payment handling
Card data passing through your servers adds compliance work. A gateway’s hosted payment page or embedded fields keep it off those servers and reduce PCI DSS obligations.
API limits
Long lists may arrive in pages, and request limits require the sync to pace itself and resume cleanly.
Sync behaviour
Scheduled and real-time sync need error handling planned around how and when records move.
Avoid
Mistakes to avoid with integrations
Leaving the source of truth unclear
Agree which system owns each record or field, so a two-way sync does not overwrite good data with a stale copy.
Using a personal login
Create credentials under a business-owned service account, so an employee leaving does not stop the connection.
Testing only clean records
Include blanks, odd characters, duplicates and cancelled orders when checking the mapping.
Assuming webhook order
Events can arrive twice or out of order. Log processed event IDs and avoid making the flow depend on delivery order.
Questions

Page updated 5 November 2026
How much will an API integration cost?
There is no fixed price. The main drivers are how many systems are involved, whether data moves in both directions, and the quality of the APIs available. High-volume, real-time flows also need queues and careful handling of request limits. We agree the scope with you before the work is defined.
Can you connect the systems we already use?
Yes, we can work with systems that have an API, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, QuickBooks, Shopify and WhatsApp. We can also often use exports or email for a system without an API. Share the systems involved and the records you need to move so the connection can be scoped around your actual workflow.
Can you include customer messages in the integration?
Yes. We integrate the WhatsApp Business API, SMS and email notifications. For WhatsApp, the message flow needs to account for the permitted window after a customer’s last message or call; outside that window, the business must use a template message. That rule affects the messages you plan into the connection.
Can partners build on an API you create?
Yes. We build public APIs and webhooks for software products, and provide clear API documentation and test credentials for partners. That gives your partners the information and access they need to test their work against the API, while the agreed scope defines what the API exposes for them to use.
Who owns the integration code?
You own your code, your content and your domain, with no lock-in. For an integration, that means ownership of the code remains with you after the work is delivered. You can plan future changes around your own systems and the people responsible for maintaining them.
What support does an integration need after launch?
It needs ongoing monitoring and periodic checks. Vendors can change APIs, add required fields or retire old versions, so someone needs to review their change notices. A dashboard showing sync counts and failures, along with a named person who acts on alerts, gives you a way to keep track of the live connection.
