Choosing
Should you choose WordPress, a custom site or a website builder?
WordPress suits a team that publishes often and wants to edit most of the site itself. Its choice of plugins gives you flexibility, though someone will need to keep those plugins and the platform updated for security. A custom Next.js site suits you if you want fast pages, tight security and a design without template limits, and are comfortable asking a developer to make structural changes.
A hosted builder such as Wix, Squarespace or Webflow can suit a small site that you want to run on your own. You give up some control over code and speed, and moving away later can mean rebuilding the site. Before choosing, consider who will edit pages and how often they need to do it.
We recommend WordPress or a custom Next.js site after learning how your team works. Bring your editing needs to that conversation: they give us a practical basis for choosing how the site is built.
Local
What Irving organisations need from their websites
Irving is home to company headquarters including Fluor Corporation. A company site needs a clear route from the home page to the services it wants to feature. For a professional services firm, separate service and partner pages give prospective clients somewhere to check expertise and credentials before getting in touch.
The University of Dallas and North Lake College are also in Irving. Organisations managing sites with several areas of work need to decide which pages visitors should find first and who will keep those pages current. A navigation plan built around those priorities gives the people updating the site a clearer structure to maintain.
Rules
Accessibility for a website used in the United States
For businesses open to the public, US guidance says the ADA covers goods and services offered on the web and points to WCAG as helpful guidance. We set up an accessibility target in the brief and use the selected criteria to guide the page and screen designs. WCAG groups its criteria into A, AA and AAA levels and encourages use of the latest version. Agreeing the target at the start gives the design work a clear basis for review.
How it runs
How a website project runs with us
We are a studio in India and work remotely over video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. India is ahead of mainland US time zones, with the gap changing during daylight saving time. The shared board keeps feedback and decisions visible between calls.
- 01
Plan the pages
We prepare the sitemap and page designs for desktop and mobile. You review what is proposed and tell us what needs to change.
- 02
Review wireframes
Before visual design, we establish what goes on each page and in what order. Your feedback here focuses on content and priorities; colours come later.
- 03
Build and test
We build with clean code or an editable content management system, then test on real devices and browsers. Your team can review the working pages.
- 04
Check before launch
You proofread every page, submit each form and confirm who receives its messages. This catches small errors that visitors would otherwise see.
- 05
Launch and hand over
We set up the domain, email, analytics and Search Console, then walk your team through the setup.
Checklist
What to have ready before we talk
Gather what you have, and note anything still to be created.
- Your logo in SVG, AI or EPS format, plus brand colours and fonts.
- Examples of sites you like and dislike, with a short reason for each choice.
- Real photos of your team, premises and finished work; arrange a photo shoot ahead if needed.
- Case studies, testimonials, certifications and client logos you have permission to show, collected in a folder.
- Real headings and paragraphs for key pages, so the layout is designed around the content it will carry.
Cost & time
What affects the cost and timeline?
The scope determines the design, build and checking work involved.
Page templates
Distinct layouts take more design and build work than pages sharing the same template.
Features
Booking, calculators, member logins, several languages and CRM connections add design, build and testing work.
Content migration
Blog posts, news archives and downloadable files from an old site need moving and checking.
Brand readiness
An existing logo and style guide reduce design effort compared with deciding the logo, colours and typefaces during the project.

Questions
Asked by businesses in Irving
Page updated 5 November 2026
How much does it cost to have a website built?
There is no fixed price. The amount of content you need to gather, the page design work and a separate content editor with its own hosting and maintenance all affect the scope. We learn about your business and agree that scope with you before sending a free quote.
Is a new website still worth building?
A website is worth considering when it gives visitors clear service information and a straightforward way to make contact. Review the pages on a phone before approving them, and check search settings before launch: a missing sitemap or an indexing block left from development can keep a site out of search results.
Can you use our existing brand?
Yes. We build on your existing logo, colours and fonts, and prepare brand assets for the web where needed. Your team can also have an editor for pages, news, projects and careers, so those parts of the site remain manageable without training.
Will we own the website?
Yes. You own the domain, the content and the code, with no lock-in. Keep the domain registrar login accessible to your team, or identify the person who holds it, so you know where to find the account when it needs attention.
What should we manage after launch?
Decide who will update news, projects and job posts, and make that responsibility clear to your team. In analytics, track form submissions, calls and WhatsApp clicks as conversions, then check which pages visitors started from. That gives you a practical way to assess enquiries from the site.
