For a website used by customers, storing or reading information on a device generally requires informed consent unless it is strictly necessary for a service the user explicitly requested. We set up a consent banner and control when the relevant scripts run.

If our work involves transferring personal data to India, the project needs appropriate safeguards because India does not have an EU adequacy decision. We set up the processor contract and address the transfer safeguards in the contract, using standard data protection clauses where appropriate. Your prior approval is also needed before a further processor is used.
